    Just bought a new A100-147 and found that the volume through the built-in speakers is extremely low, even when the scroll bar on the sound setting has been set up. I can barely hear anything, even my PDA has an output sound better than that. The problem exists for MP3, CD, and DVD. I noticed other assignments as well as on this forum with the same problem with other models (80 Equium and others), but cannot find a solution yet.

    It's a standard specific to a few patterns or problem with all laptops from Toshiba? My particular piece could be at fault?

    I have a problem with the volume control. When I adjust the volume using the button on the left side of the laptop, I can only choose 3 levels of "loudness":

    No volume, very quiet volume and maximum volume (from rabies).

    Is this normal, is not anyone have problems with this?
    I hope that the problem is because of the digital volume adjustment screw. The adjuster does not record the exact position of the volume button. Every time when I get a phone call at work (I listen to internet radio), I turn off the radio by using the adjustment screw on the side of the laptop. When I end the phone call, I always need to open the laptop and the volume on the windows task bar, because when I use the device volume control on the left side of the laptop, it will just immediately at maximum volume.

    It s very strange that your volume control contains only 3 levels of volume
    I noticed that Toshiba has released a new driver (v. 6.0.1.5473) sound on the European driver page.

    How about if the update driver sound?
    Audio driver certainly controls the volume sound and in my opinion it s worth a try.

    I read your post on how you're looking to restore the sound on your desktop when you watch YouTube videos, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

    Are you able to hear the sound using other programs, such as Windows Media Player or other sites that stream media? You are able to hear the sound of a set of connected headhones?

    In the meantime, I recommend that you follow the steps described in this document on the no sound on speakers (Windows 8). This will help you configure your desktop computer to play audio when watching YouTube videos.

    In addition, I also offers by following the steps below:

    Step 1. Make sure that the video is not muted in YouTube and Facebook.
    Step 2. Close all open Internet Explorer Windows
    Step 3. Office Open Internet Explorer. Go to tools, Internet Options
    Step 4. Select the "Advanced" tab
    Step 5. Scroll down to the 'Multimédia' heading
    Step 6. Make sure that "Play sounds in web pages" is checked
    Step 7. Click on 'OK '.
    Step 8. Restart Internet Explorer. A test to see if the sounds will play now

    I also recommend the rest of this resource on the steps to troubleshoot Flash Player on Windows 8. that should help set up all the additional parameters for good audio performance on YouTube.

    2 weeks ago, I have connected the device using bluetooth, speaker wireless to a friend (a urban Beatz).  It works beautifully.

    This week, I bought a wireless speaker ultimate ears Mini Boom.  Manufacturer: Logitech.  Model: EU Mini Boom.  www.UltimateEars.com.

    I've matched the speaker to the Tablet succesfully.  It seems to not work, however.  Sound only comes from the Tablet unless I have use a speaker cable and connectthe directly to the audio input of the tablet.  The speaker works then.

    I called the manfacturer of the speaker and support helped me to pairing again, but nothing helps.  The technology suggested I go back to the "faulty" speaker at the retailer, which I did.  Now I have new speakers, same model, but it behaves exactly as the first did.

    There seems to be a problem with outpur audio to my Tablet using bluetooth.

    Can you please give me some advice?  Thank you in advance.

    First of all, I cancel the pairing of the Tablet and the speaker, remove the speaker from the list of BT and then restart the tablet. (long press the button walk / stop, choose power power off then turn on again when he finished the stop).

    Once on the home screen, I would try to pair the speaker again and check if its working, also check the volumes on the system/system/volume sounds

    In this case, if your computer came pre-installed with Windows so you can check your cab for the driver file, to access the cab file go to your C: drive then go to the folder program files. However, if you are unable to get the cabs folder or you do not have this folder then go to your site to computer manufacturer for drivers to download and install it. :-)

    This community has been very helpful lately so I thought I'd see if anyone here can give me some advice with my current problem.

    I try a custom interface cross-platform library, call the L, with the audio system in Sib, where L acts as a wrapper around BB and has the following features (sketch).

    When a sound can be set to play in a single channel, stopped, changed volume, etc. And a sound can be in any supported format.

    My problem is that I am a bit lost at the moment. Two audio BB existing samples using what appear to be different libraries (it has everything prefixed with snd_pcm_xxx and one with mmr_xxx), and the two play only a single sample.

    If someone can give me some rough guidelines on what works / structure I should look to be able to make a library which plays multiple sounds simultaneously, in several channels and how to initialize this library, I would be really useful.

    I'm not an audio programmer, and my knowledge in this area is limited, so maybe missing me something obvious in the samples / docs that would help me to build this system without too much noise.

  • My sound periodically stop working of my speakers, how do I fix?

    In the past week, the sound of my speakers (I use a Toshiba laptop) ceased to operate during the games and videos. The said volume sound control is still produced, but there is nothing but silence. The sound works fine from my helmet and stranger still if I plug my headphones and get out them, the loudspeaker will be briefly return.

    My speakers have no sounds strange distortion which would indicate that they are broken, I'm not trying to use them with several sounds playing all at once (a single Youtube video or game at a time) and I recently installed my drivers updates should therefore be as up-to-date as possible. Also, my virus scans showed that my computer is clean.
    I don't know what to do, given my helmet used constantly turns embarrassing and I can't exactly replace the speakers to your laptop. Any help would be appreciated.

    I have a macbook mid 2012 pro who started crashing and restarting today. I tried to connect a speaker bluetooth with him and it froze and since I had a random crash with restarts.  I tried to repair desk, repair permissions and that did not help.

    I notice that you have several changes to third-party hardware.  There are some third-party RAM installed and a double HARD drive installation.  They should be directed to see if one of them is the cause.

    These are your software possible candidates for your kernel panic:

    Remove them and reinstall them individually to find the "problem child".

    NVIDIA, CUDA is the prime suspect in my opinion.

I have a device that allows to measure radioactivity (in the disintegrations per minute) and this device makes a sound every time it receives a signal from radioactivity, in labview, I did an application that uses the microphone of my laptop to detect this (high volume sounds) and counting the sounds, but my problem is that I need the counter to record values after each minute and only give me an average of these values) first minute 5 signals so in the Midland to be number 5 for example, the next minute I get 7 signals so the medium box will show me 6). Can someone help me please?

    -Use ElapsedTime to determine your minutes intervals.

    -average: = (average_previous + new_value) /(i+1) with "i" being the loop iterator. You need a registry change to store the value for average_previous

  • problems with dell inspiron 15 3521: bios, graphics driver, drive Max

    OK first let me start off with audio I bought this laptop earlier this month and I noticed after a week tht one of the speakers has not been done no sound so I looked and most of the people, said her probably a driver or a balance so I checked all kinds of sounds tested left balance speaker mute or not mute (only the left speaker works) I uninstalled the drivers (realtek) tried it out with the Trusted (sarcasm) windows 8 drivers only its tht came was left aside I also checked with him the dell windows Diagnostics both before windows he showed tht, everything was perfect and diagnostics bios dell had a sound check, so I tried it and only had sound in the left (so im guessing this is not not a windows problem). So if I miss sumthing here pls enlighten me as I have not installed sound mods vlc or wutever so I don't skip infact I don't think I've ever done my volume sound goto 100.

    Second problem is the bloody grahics driver first time I opened my laptop, he told me to check my graphics driver and started acting out (my screen was blurry) so I tried to install the latest driver that didn't help so I returned the laptop and got a new... same problem after I found theres a specific driver that he recommended that works. Now if any of you are assuming that oh so what just cuz the graphics driver is not up to this day he should at least perform normally not act as sumthings broken or overheated... .well not it not anyho is the problem always sumtimes asks me to check my catalyst (he does not do anything when I click it) but that's all it works fine another tht can and I'm not sure if this is related to the graphics or disc bt sumtimes it turns off automatically and selects on some im do (especially on firefox) also tht problem was on my first computer laptop bt it was very common
    This brings us the third disk problem... the system is great other then all of these problem bt sumtimes I noticed it starts hanging in the boot and the reason behind it is I noticed that on my task manager, the disk will 100% use mainly cuz of system and antivirus loaded thereon im bt guessin' meadow is a windows problem 8 I don't really know

    OH and I almost forgot the Yes of the bios when I had my second laptop as the third day, there was a mistake that I woke up that I had left my laptop on all night on a normal surface meaning, there is no heat or anything like that... it wasn't hot anyho has committed a random error sum which I restarted my pc came to the dell screen and then a black screen that he said media controls and then FAIL
    then he said control media FAIL and it starts normally and it does every day since tht then of course diagnostics and everything works fine, he said that everything is fine TELL me HOW to MAKE IT GO AWAY

    That might have been the PSA Diagnostics. Dell 32-bit audio Diagnostics play a piece of music, but the PSA tests just play system sounds. Anyway, you wrote "and the bios dell diagnostics had a sound check, then I tried and didn't sound in the left. If you did not hear audio in right during the diagnostics speaker then the speaker needs to be replaced.

    No matter what the tests said - it is important only if you can hear the sound of the set of tests. If you can't hear it there is a hardware problem.
