  AFAIK the Qosmio has also keyboard backlight and volume wheel series. Did you check that?

  But like Garrett said the volume button works if Windows is started. On my Qosmio F50 I can only use if Windows is started, but normally I don t need this feature before Windows is not started.

  I have a problem with my physical keyboard button "0 (ZERO). Initial it use to work as a 0 whenever you press it, do not hit alt for it to turn into 0. but now when you press the button GOOGLE NOW appears as the first option. I have to use the ALT option to change it to digital.

  There is a setting for it in the settings > language & keyboard > keyboard BlackBerry settings > advanced.

  Slide down on your home screen and follow the settings > language and input > Feedback. Drag the slider to the left to cancel the input of keyboard volume and maintain the overall volume on the phone.

  It is not possible to disable the key tone when we scored a phone number to call.

  Another option is to place notices in silent mode and makes the phone number.

  Keyboard has suddenly stopped working. I tried the things:

  Soft Reboot, Hard Reboot, Hub restarts, change keyboard settings to ignore words with numbers, remove facebook, twitter and linkedin and apps accounts. Nothing helps.

  Have you tried resetting the Z10. With this one, hold the power button on top for 30 seconds until you see the square box with the BlackBerry icon at startup.

  I would say that to do a fresh install if take out the battery. I found a problem with my old BB helped a new facility (even if a pain)

• BlackBerry Z10 more low volume low enough

  Has anyone else noticed that the the lower volume for listening to music with headphones is not low enough?  I want the possibility of lowering one or two steps more silent, but it does go OFF from the level low.

  I was hoping that the main volume control was a master, but it seems to be the exact same as the command buttons on the side.  The main volume is back completely to the left (less a step).  I don't have any headphones with their own volume setting thus at the mercy of the BB controls (whether on the coast or on the screen).

  When you type a message, I sometimes see an Insert Word (green) governing the space key that prevent me from using it.  I can't continue and eventually accept the suggestion of incorrect word and then to remove it so that I can continue.  Please tell us how to get around this problem. It is very annoying.

  Just to add, there is a personal dictionary where you can add words in option. I built this. You can also disable the automatic text feature. Some people did as well. I prefer to use the automatic text feature. Built in help section in the phone has information about how to use the function comes out and use the options.

  Hello

  I want to type in Tamil on my Z10. But BlackBerry does not provide a default Tamil keyboard. And there is no third-party keyboard apps such as we found in-store game Google for Android devices. I would like to know if it is possible for third-party developers develop a keyboard? If so, can someone point me in the right direction? Otherwise, anyone know a work around?

  There is currently no possibility to create 3 party keyboards, except in your own applications by only showing the original keyboard and to implement a fake keyboard from scratch.

• Z10 taken blackBerry trapped in the screen reader!

  Today my Z10 decided to enter accessibility mode, including the screen reader. I can't go to settings to turn it off, as the screen will not scroll upwards or downwards. You can access elements by double-clicking, but article 'back' never works. The keyboard is completely non-functional in this mode. I'm working on the re-installation of operating system using link, but not sure it will help. I restarted the phone several times, pulled the battery and taken to Bell which is only available to return to BlackBerry to fix.

  Anyone have any ideas on how to get this reset?

• Z10 Z10 BB blackBerry won't boot to the top

  Charged my z10 all night then in the morning that there was only one red light on the upper right side.

  Disconnected the usb charging cable (I was loading via the wall jack and not a pc) and the light goes out, but it won't start.

  Connected to a pc and just suite and every few seconds, he's trying to start because I see the words 'blackberry' lights up for about half a second, then it turns off and the Red led will return to red light.

  Software link BB confirms that the device tries to connect but disconnects...

  Disable bb software link, use "check for updates" and run it while the camera is connected via USB.

  You select device and follow the instructions... When you are prompted to turn off the device, you may need to use the power button or the HIGH to the LOW volume switches to turn on the lamp unit out... Green must appear on the device... it took me several attempts to make it work, but it works fine now... thank you all for the help.
