VPN for Windows 98 client

Is there a Windows 98 VPN clinet, which is also compatible with pix 6.2 (2). ?

Also, is it true that vpn 3.1 using a 6.2 (2) pix is compatible only with windows 2000 and not 98?

Thank you

Vik

I have therefore built a new PC and decided to start to buy and games to test the machine on some PCs. The first one I decided to buy was GTA IV games for windows marketplace. I did, and it appears in my thin, recent purchase history. I click on the link 'Download' and I need to install games for Windows Marketplace client.

I installed without problems and signed in--however whenever I login and click on "Downloads" tab, I'm presented with a red error as follows:

I signed and back in several times now, and the purchase was made about 2-3 hours ago.

  • Suggestions of VPN for Windows 7 and ASA 5510

We currently have a VPN solution with an ASA5510 and the client to the PC using the Cisco VPN Client V5.0.07.0410.  This works for Windows XP SP3 and Windows 7, however, Windows 7 will not allow enable start before logon or disconnect VPN connection when Logging Off (i.e. the Windows logon properties are missing in the client configuration options).  Is there a fix for this VPN client?  What VPN upgrade options available, which will allow these options?

Thank you very much for your suggestions!

You must use the AnyConnect client. I got on to start the same kind of project and purchased a license key AnyConnect, they are the easiest option.

    Hi D33Viilz,

I found a post on the Games for Windows Live site that has addressed your question.  Here are the steps and the link to the original post:

If you're running Vista, you can not uninstall all .NET Framework before 3.0.

If you haven't already, you will need to download 3.5 SP 1 here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=AB99342F-5D1A-413D-8319-81DA479AB0D7&displaylang=en

If you are running Windows 7, it should have the most recent of the .NET Framework.

Also, I would say that you are using the tool Mod proposed (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301) to completely remove Microsoft Games for Windows LIVE and LIVE Redistributable.

When you have finished using the cleanup utility, check that it has been removed through programs and features.

Restart your PC, and then re-download the newest Client of Games for Windows LIVE here: go.microsoft.com/?linkid=9640147

  • SSL VPN for Windows Surface RT?

What API will provide so 3rd party VPN can be created for Windows Surface RT?  It would Surface much more useful RT if the network could be accesesed by VPN.

    Thank you
    Toby

I went to buy a RT device this weekend.  However, I decided against it due to lack of support VPN.  Without support for VPN (Sonicwall), the device doesn't provide me w / sufficient productivity to justify the purchase.  The Pro model is a more capable device, but the battery life low (not to mention the size and weight) makes it an attractive product.

EDIT: Seen taking supported VPN, but also a RT in Outlook version would make this device a major force for companies (for me of the least...).  Give people a reason to buy!

FWIW, 8.1 RT Windows supports SonicWALL.

  • OS for vCenter. Should I for windows server client access licenses?

    Hello

I just buy more Essentials and installing vCenter. A Microsoft guy told me except the license server should I buy Windows client access licenses to the server also. To me, this seems odd. Is this true? Is there a document indicating I need / not need client access licenses?

    Thanks in advance!

Long story short: you need a CAL for each device / user that will access the VirtualCenter machine (Windows server).

Quote: Each user or device that accesses or uses the Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2008 R2 server software requires the purchase of a license for access to Client in Windows Server 2008 (Windows Server CAL)

Add as follows: (assuming you are installing vCenter on W2008) http://www.microsoft.com/windowsserver2008/en/us/client-licensing.aspx

If you already Win servers in your environment and your users / devices already have win client access licenses server, you can use the existing licenses to stay in the EULA. Talk to your MS guy if that's the case.

  • Games for Windows Live Client & 8_bug Windows

There is a bug that has to do with the overlay of Games for Windows Live in the Games for Windows games. The surfaces of bug when I try to download the content in a game. The bug seems manageable and simple yet I don't have remedies to solve the problem. In this order, I try to download the content in a game this error came out. Then clicking on solve minimizes the game full screen, at the same time opens the games for Windows Marketplace on the desktop. When you optimize the game keeping new engine of games for Windows Marketplace on Office Online a different error is output after trying to download content.

If I have windows games for Windows Marketplace on Office Online before you start the game, I want to download the content to go in a game using the Games for Windows, in the game of downloads will be overlapping downloaded successfully.

I am interested in solving the bug that I describe.

I already looked at: Support.Live.com& support. I called the GFWL support: (877)274-4349 where you suggest directly to ask on the forums of Windows 8, if it's a question of Windows 8.

I don't know what changed, but the games for Windows Live Marketplace working again as it should.

  • Y at - it a client AnyConnect VPN for Windows Mobile 6.5

    Hi people,

I have a client using PDA based on Windows Mobile 6.5 and Windows CE. Is there a version of the AnyConnect VPN client for these devicese and in this case, where they are available for download?

    Best regards

    Peter

    Hi Peter,.

There isn't a client available for mobile platforms. However, perhaps, they may work with SSL VPN on SAA... But however the browsers on these platforms are obsolete... (like BONE :-))

    Kind regards

  • VPN using Windows Native Client

Is there a way to use the native Windows VPN Clients in collaboration with the ASA 5520 running IOS 8.0? XP and Vista. I prefer to use them because I have several custom applcations that trigger the windows VPN Client. To work around the problem I just enabled passthrough and have the vpn running on another server but I would prefer it to be on of the SAA.

    Thank you.

    Looks like you want to use L2TP over IPSEC, below is a link on how to configure this on the SAA;

  • Windows 7 VPN for Windows XP

I have a laptop latest (July 2012) running Windows 7 Home Premium.  I connect to remote computers to work activities via VPN, but since moving to this new computer laptop, I can't connect to VPN connections that are hosted by a Windows XP Professional client.  I confirmed that the necessary ports are open (ping test and also connect by VPN by other devices). I am also able to connect to a Windows 2003 server from the new laptop using what appears to be a similar setup.

When I try to connect the laptop Windows 7 on the Windows XP Professional computer, it passes through what appear to be the right steps (connection via...), but crashes and then click Verify the user and the password - eventually fails with a long message "(erreur 619: une connexion ne pourrait pas être établie...)."

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Available adapters for Windows network clients

We are at the last vSphere generates for the host and vCenter. We are rebuilding our models of windows. I wanted to get a better idea on which network cards available to use (http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US & cmd = displayKC & externalId = 1001805). Our old models have been set to flexible.

These models will be for all variants of Windows 2003 and Windows 2008 (32-bit, 64-bit, R2, etc..)

I am trying to decide if I should choose VMXNET2 or VMXNET3 for my models. I don't want to choose one that proliferates and I regret more late or have to change.

    (1) any concerns going forward with one of these.

    (2) comparing the 2, what are the benefits of each (VMXNET2 and VMXNET3)

    (3) by comparing the 2, what are the possible disadvantages foreach (VMXNET2 and VMXNET3)

Vmxnet3 is the latest and greatest drivers. Best performance. The VMXNET3 downside is that currently you cannot enable Fault Tolerance on a virtual machine with this type of network card.
