vRO workflow crashes with Exception when content Server.log contains ' / ' character

Just noticed this this weekend and I wanted to check if anyone has a workaround or fix. I have a workflow that uses a call to Server.log for some info for future recordings. However, if the connected content contains a character ' / ' the workflow closes and I get a JDBC exception and the workflow ends.

There is an old post from the community on this topic where it is suggested that this would be fixed in 5.1 vCO. I use 5.5.1

Anyone else seen this?

Maximum length is defined on the database level. It should be 1024 characters for the second argument (optional) Server.log(text,info) and 255 characters for the first argument.

I don't think it is documented in the API Explorer.

    The environment runs on Windows: Server Admin and monitor targets.

    After the steps after installation in the migration guide, Weblogic console starts well (using % DOMAIN_HOME%\startWebLogic.cmd), but I'm having trouble to start Enterprise Manager Cloud Control console/web server.

    After trying to start the EMGC_OMS1 managed server in WebLogic console, I get the following:

    -EMGC_OMS1 State goes to FAILED_NOT_RESTARTABLE.
    -The Server Admin log show the following errors:

    I tried the following:

    -Write file boot.properties in %DOMAIN_HOME%\servers\EMGC_ADMINSERVER\security and %DOMAIN_HOME%\servers\EMGC_OMS1\security with the credentials for the user the Weblogic admin again.
    -Value username and password on "Parameters of EMGC_OMS1" > Configuration > Weblogic Console tab to start the server.

    None of them succeeded.

    I also compared the former (R1) installation folder with a new one for the R2, but I don't see any relevant difference.

    You have suggestions on what can be wrong?

    PC crashes with DBO when downloading a large file via WiFi to my iPad and using AVPlayerHD player on the iPad.   • CAD cannot connect with INFORMATICA_DW_SERVER when dac server is running

    Hi all

    We have something strange.
    We have installed just BIA 7.9.5.1 with informatica 8.1.1 sp5 on windows server 2003.
    And confiugered it according to the manual.

    Now, we want to set up the connection between the dac and informatica services, but we cannot make a connection when the DAC server is running. When we press on test connection it says "Please wait... "but it's for almost an hour now."
    Now when you stop the dac connect to informatica_dw_server Server works fine.
    The connection with the informatica_rep_server also, also works at the dac server starts.

    What have we done so far:
    -We can run pmcmd and pmrep from the command line
    -We have added the/server/bin and/client/bin directory to the path
    -We have added the infa_domains_file system variable
    -We checked the file server dac config.bat
    -We checked port in the adminconsole (i.e. 4001)
    -We rebooted everything (all services and windows server as well)
    -When we try netstat, we see that it is listening on port 4001

    TCP rst - act3ct2:4001 rst - act3ct2:0 LISTENING-> is this correct?

    I found the solution:

    connect to your printer cable (you can use a direct eth between your computer and your printer cable), access the web interface and disable support IPv6 (let the IPv4 only verified): network > General > protocols > only IPv4 verified. Save and restart the printer.

    In 80% of cases, it will work on the wireless connection. For the other 20% when it does not work, try to assign a static IP address to your printer (network > Wireless > IPv4) in a second time. Take data from your router (IP, gateway, DNS).

  • dv6t 7000 image crash with BSOD when coming out of sleep

    My power settings are set to put the laptop to sleep when I close the lid.  As soon as I open the cover, things are fine until I have slide the fingerprint reader.  Laptop fails with BSOD and the only way out is to maintain the power button forcing a hard stop.  I turned off hybrid sleep.  I've turned off the options in management of State of PCI Express - Link Power and also two options in settings USB selective suspend settings USB who discovered reading this forum.  Now, I'm afraid to have this machine in standby mode.  Nothing is ever good happens next.  Help.

  • What Windows 7 64-bit installation crashes with BSOD when you ask to Raid driver

    Original title: HP dv7 7008 own ssd install question.

    While he was trying to do a clean install of Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate built in 32gig ssd blocks on a 7B BSOD.  Tried to re - install the driver iastor.sys, intel RAID ultilty without success.

    I tried to restore to the factory but can't.  Can boot from image of Windows 7 on USB and try to re - install.  Installation asks for the driver that I provided and about 30 seconds later it BSOD.

    HP uses a 32gig like Accelerator HD SSD where the problem with the iastor.sys.  There is no option in the BIOS to what whatever relevant and I am at a loss.

    Don't want to send it back under warranty.

    Turned out to be a bad SSD returned and replaced with new ones.  Just glad to know I wasn't losing my mind.

    First of all remember that an author MAY dismiss his element in any stage except stage of initial contribution. If he landed all the way there, it is, in essence, saying he has nothing else to do other than return such what to another chance for approval OR rewriting, then return it to reject the previous reviewer comments.

    This happened on 02/10/15 and happened again on 24/02/16. We have two printers that depend on this file. HP Color LaserJet 553 and HP LaserJet M604. I have over a hundred of the M604 on my network and the last time that this happened, it dominoed across the print server system.  This has also caused some spools of printing stop on end users. The only way I can get end users up is to uninstall the driver package.

    This issue affects the Windows Server 2008 and windows computers 7 as well.  Try to determine why this has happened twice and determine how fixit before the rest of my Server 2008 and end down as well.

    The error lies in the hpb6sy2917_x64gui.dll.

    This time I had to remove the printers and drivers with a regedit. I also deleted all files in all files for 2917 in the

    C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64\3 folder. But this time, when I reinstall the M604 M553 drivers and it lowers again print server spooler. I'm frustrated to say the least.

    I read the documentation here:

    Here's what I'd really like to do:
    I would like to create very simplified forms that support the following Content Server features:
    1. documents search

    4. the display of search results

    By simple I mean is the following: no bar tool of any kind, no decoration, just the bare minimum to support the above mentioned functions.

    My questions:
    Is it still possible?
    Are there examples of this anywhere?

    Troubleshooting Internet connectivity

    1 answer to the first and second troubleshooting Questions:

    First Question of troubleshooting: If the problem is new, what has changed between the time things worked and the time they do not have?

    The problem is most likely a corrupt Windows Installer problem.

    In addition to the suggestion of BurrWalnut , please make sure that the Windows Installer service is enabled.

    Step 1:

    The Windows Installer service can be disabled on the computer.

    a. go to "Start "-> "run ", type "services.msc " and press the "Enter " key.
     
    b. double-click on the service named "Windows Installer ".
     
    c. check the value the "start type: " field. Is currently set to "Disabled ", then that's the problem. Change it by selecting 'Manual ' in the menu dropdown.

    Step 2:

    Now, Uninstall all traces of Office applications and the reinstall it.
