W/128 MB GeForce 9300GE question

Can answer please if the GeForce 9300GE w/128 MB graphics card that comes with a certain configuration of HP include an HDMI on the graphics card port?  I know that the 256 MB card version has HDMI port, but am not sure if the 128 MB version has this port.

Thank you.

It has a VGA and DVI port.  I don't know if the DVI is compatible with HDMI or not.  I have a new HP PC with 128 MB card, but is not something that a flat screen that I could use port DVI with and right now I'm just using the VGA port because that's what I had been to help and it seems to work very well with my monitor LCD 19 ".  HTH

Hi, after updated windows updated 10/19/09 my graphics card has been disabled (nVidia GeForce 9300GE). I tried to activate the device, prompting the update driver, and the update failed to install the device became "not recognized".  I restored the system before the update and everything was ok until the PC has been stopped and restarted.  I have been through the process of restoring about 6 times, each time, try another way of preventing recurrence for example turn off the automatic updates, uninstall KB915597, etc., but nothing works. Is there a permanent solution to this mess?

    Hello

Uninstall the driver of graphics completely, and then restart the computer.
Then re-install the graphics card driver by downloading from:

    You are welcome.

Here is some information that I put in place on a good way to use Windows updates:

You do not have to install an update problem will continue to cause problems for you.

Is there a way to get around that.

Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

You should only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft normally does nor those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft relies of the 3rd party hardware Manufactuer to provide.

But unfortunately, the only way to know which is the update of the problem is to install them one by one, until you find the 'wrong' for your installation.

You can do a system restore to get back until it has been installed (which is NOT the best way to remove an update) or follow this method:

    'Remove an update'

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/remove-an-update

When you have found the issue of update of the list of updates which is presented > then right click on the update problem > select Hide update > and it will not be available to you once again

"How to hide or show an update of Windows Vista"

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/72491-Windows-Update.html

Here's how to change the update settings, if you think it is necessary to:

"Understanding Windows Update and Extras in Windows Vista and Windows 7.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/Windows-Vista-updates-and-extras/

    Or the other of these two update settings will give you the chance to see what you want to install through Windows updates;

Download updates but let me choose whether to install them - if you select this option, Windows will download the updates on your computer, but not install them automatically. If you want to install updates, then you must install them manually. You should only select this option if you have a reason to not install updates automatically. Only advanced users should use this option.

Check for updates but let me choose whether to download and install them - if you select this option, you'll be alerted when there are new updates available for download and install. You can then choose to download and install the updates that you want. This option should really be reserved for people who know exactly which updates they need, or those who have little access to the Internet.

But remember you normally only have problems with hardware 3rd party drivers. Other updates are to improve the Performance and security of your system

    See you soon.

  • Alienware 17 i7 4710hq Turbo question

    Hello

I just got a laptop Alienware 17. Specifications are:

    i4710hq

    gtx980m

    16 gig RAM

    Windows 8

    1 tb + 128 SSD

My question is about the process of turbo and how its active or if I allow it. I have done a ton of research about this, but can't seem to find a solid answer.

    . The i7 4710hq lies 2.4 Ghz (goes to 3.5 If Turbo).

. With the graphics of Alienware amplifier it automatically gets boosted at the coast of 3.5. I opted not to buy it because of the budget at the time.

. According to intels Internet, wiki and a few other tech forums, I've met. 4710hq i7 will stimulate automatically itself at or near the 3.5 as appropriate.

Under the BIOS settings he has shown to turbo whenever a graphics amplifier is connected and showed a specific set of options related to the graphicis amplifier. But it only shows the turbo for the amplifier of graphics options.

Just below those set of options mentions an option for overclocking of Intel processor on the route and it sees that it is . Do I need to activate this for in order for the Turbo to be active? Or is it something different entirely?

    Thank you

From my experience, it should list differently.  There should be a selection to turn the Turbo Boost feature in the BIOS.  Here is the site for manuals online:

I didn't know that Turbo Boost listed anywhere in the BIOS setting in the section of the manual.  Who said to me that either A. Its automatic and you can't turn it off (thus it is not in the BIOS) or b. His disability is permanent unless you get the amplifier, but that would make no sense for me.  I hope that someone else might have a better answer?

  • Qosmio G20: CPU too high with video usage

    Hello

I've got G20 (2.13 Ghz processor) and nVidia 128 MB GeForce Go 6600 and I noticed that when you run video that my CPU utilization goes up high enough. View tv goes up to about 80%, video in media player substantially the same, but the video clips on Web sites and sites with video banner Web can get up to 100%.

I don't know if this normal that I had not really noticed before, but lately, with this hot weather, I found that on the days hottest occasionally my system stopped, probably because the fan may not follow.

My question is if these ages CPU usage % are normal for this system, or I have some setting wrong that puts the load on the processor and not the graphics card. Can someone tell me if I can check how the video processing is done by the graphics card or how I can assure that this is the work and only in passing on overloading the CPU.

    Thank you very much.

PS I am running the latest drivers video for this machine, obtained from the Toshiba draft.exe page.

    Hi William

I had a lot of experiences with Qosmio G20 and activity of the CPU under pressure. With the use of the highest processor unit was never overheated just a little harder because of cooling fan.

As you know Qosmio G20 is powerful multimedia and video unit problem described in your message is really strange. If you wrote that you don't l l notice that before, I assume your personal configuration is responsible for this. On this path, it is not easy to say why this is happening. Try to check the processes running and at the end all of them you don't need. On this way the CPU use should be much lower.

  • Point of mystery of material; an HP product. that I can't find a support.

    Hello

I have a video card that I can't find except in passing mentions, with further references obscure motherboard chipsets. Some web sites seem to contradict what type of map this thing really is, and I have no way to say for sure at this point.

From what I can tell, this is a 256 MB PCIe 1.0 'GeForce 9300GE', HP P/N: 466851-001; Blue PCB color, active cooling fan and heatsink combo, low-profile-ish heat, HDMI and 'LCD' (this is what is engraved on the metal on the side stand side of the orifice) ports available.

This thing is no longer supported by HP? Can I somehow verify the characteristics of the map, I've since lost the documentation on this?

And Yes, this is an older video card, but happens in an older system, and it is a notch above the car video that currently has in any case. It is a temporary side-grade until I win the lottery, what can I say?

    Thank you.

  • Satellite Pro M30 - HDD upgrade up to 160 GB

    Hello

I have a portable Satellite Pro M30 and I want to move the hard drive to the maximum size supported.

As I see from previous posts of the preinstalled bios supports up to 128 GB, so the questions are:

1A everyone updated bios to support larger sizes (e.g. 160 GB)?

    2. the link suggested for bios updates (http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_bios.jsp?service=EU) does not provide an option for the M30 (only M70) series. So what one do I download for M30?

    Thank you

    Hello

First update the BIOS will not help you get a possibility of using a 160 GB HARD drive.
The fact is that the M30 Pro Sam has an interface IDE (ATA-5) and this HARD drive controller supports LBA the28bit
So in my opinion the 160 GB only are not supported.

    By the way;
You can find the BIOS and the driver for the Pro M30 sitting on the Toshiba driver page.

  • I'll be able to upgrade graphics card for my HP Pavillion to NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti m8530f

Ive looked all over the web without success on a variety of graphics cards that I can install on my desktop. Ive had my eye on NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti, but I need to know if I can get some good graphics out of my machine

    Data sheet:

    Windows Vista Edition home premium

    5120 system memory

    1 TB harddrive

    NVIDIA GeForce 9300GE (Hybrid SLI)

    Hello

The motherboard in your PC has a not very good history.

Open your PC and do some measure to ensure that the GTX 550 will adjust.  This EVGA is a good model, but the ear there are other brands just as good.  The map is 8.25 "long.  The adjacent slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant.

You will need a bigger power supply.  A 500 Watt power supply should be sufficient for the GTX 550.

Look at this Corsair CX500. It's good quality food.

You need to open your PC and measure the physical dimensions of your diet.  Here is a list of the things to consider:

    1. Specifications
    2. Total power - important
    3. amperage 12 + v - important
    4. Modular - is not required, but I like the flexibility
    5. Warranty
    6. I7 and SLI ready
    7. Efficiency rating
    8. Cost
    9. The physical size - standard ATX PSU is 5.5 "by 5.9" by 3.4 "give or take a few tenths
    10. Only one + 12 volt rail is a better choice.

www.Newegg.com has many choices of power supplies.  Corsair, OCZ, Rosewill, Thermaltake...

How to replace a power supply.

How to replace a video card.

  • CS5.5, 10-bit, AVCIntra, AJA Kona and GTX580 vs Quadro

I'm buying a new computer in June. I am passage of Final Cut Pro on Mac. Why am I spending? For many reasons, but suffice it to say, CS5.5 is really looking like a time saver and seems to make good sense of business together. And being independent, I do not really on in line with any dogmatic camp (FCP or Avid, etc.).

I work a lot with AVCIntra (10-bit) images and content (also 10-bit) generated by 3D provided by customer. I have an AJA Kona convince (supporting 10 bit) installed.

I read a lot about the vs Quadro GeForce and understand that there is not much advantage to one Quadro, other then the advantage extra for 3D applications. And Geforces are 8-bit and 10-bit Quadro. So price wise, the 580 Geforce for CS5.5 is probably my best bet.

My main questions are: PProCS5.5 is fully support 10-bit, end-to-end? And if the GeForce is only 8 bits (although I saw somewhere the 580 can support 10-bit), it will have an impact in time real MPE reading will appear on the AJA Kona card? With the installed AJA Kona Iraq, is important to all that I have a 8-bit or 10-bit GPU card?

On a side note, there are a GTC590 now, with Dual GPU. Someone at - it tested yet with the hack? Or will it be the same problem as with SLI GeForces not supported by the body?

There is a second side, I know people ask a lot about the best material to use. I read a lot of posts about them. Most of them are pretty old posts. From May 2011, any recommendations on components? Such as motherboards, raid, manufacturer of GTX580 cards etc. ? But I'm particularly interested to know if the i7 X 6-core 990 is worth the investment, compared to the 2nd gen 4-core i7 2600 K? I assume Yes. But have never seen in real world tests. And a dual Xeon really would be twice as fast? Wise investment, just like the Geforce Quadro question vs, I don't know that it is worth 3 times the price for probably less then two times the speed. Any comments?

    Thank you all,.

I talked to Blackmagic and their IO cards and all are probably independent of the OGL 10 bits of Adobe pull request. This means that you would be fine using I/O without a Quadro to 10bits overview of the output.

  • New video card unsolved mystery...

Still I was wondering why my new video card is in my computer acting like the old...

Installed a BFG NVIDIA 512 MB GeForce 8800 GT OC to replace my stock NVIDIA 128 MB GeForce graphics card 7300 THE.

Yes, I did the driver cleaner. Yes, I uninstalled the game before that I added new material so that the game would be to 'See' the new hardware at startup. etc etc etc.

It's funny, I go into control panel / appearance and personalization/customization/display settings and see what follows: Dell E228WFP on NViDIA GeForce 7300LE. ??? I shouldn't see my new videocard listed here? So I click "Advanced settings" and see the tab map: Type of card "NVIDIA GeForce 7300 THE. Although if I click on the Properties tab, I don't see GeForce 8800 listed.

Under adapter information I also see the chip Type: Geforce 8800 GT.

And under the string of the card I also see the GeForce 8800 GT.

Also, when I go to Device Manager and click on graphics cards I see GeForce 8800 GT and it is listed as working properly.

But I can't tell any difference in my graphics and it's getting frustrating...

Why I still see the old graphics card 7300LE listed in some of these areas?

As you see a record 260 million (52 GB) T1 and T2 has approximately 200,000 records (approximately 2 MB)
Oracle chooses the hash with T1 inner table join. Thus all T1 is tempted to read first in memory.

And because the TEMP tablespace is less than 55 GB, an error has occurred:

    Question:
Why oracle choose the hash with inner table so big join?
