  Just got my Thinkpad W520 4270 CTO with bluetooth installed. It was a work station BACK I installed Win 7 x 64 Ultimate on and I finally got all the drivers installed, but the bluetooth software says it is no BT device connected to my laptop. I checked the BIOS settings and confirmed that the BT is enabled. I even turned off, saved, then he helped turn.   I don't think that you will be able to increase your score of graphics or increase graphics performance using this chipset... He is old enough.

  We try to use HFR with performance scorecard to generate the report. Scorecard of performance create Essbase database which can be directly linked to HFR and report can be generated.
  My question-if we don't have Essbase database for card application performance score how to generate report using Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio.

  Sorry, I have never developed a report by the Score of RDBMS. EN may not be the right tool for you since it has limited database connections. Have you tried interactive reporting? It is used mainly for reports that are mapped to relational data sources:

  The IFE can be used to show what part of the system should provide the largest increase in performance when it is upgraded. For example, a computer with the lower under-score in his memory, would benefit more than an upgrade of RAM to add a faster hard drive (or any other component).

  Have you run this test while the laptop was connected to food or using the battery power?
  The adapter must be connected to launch Notepad with best performance.

  Also try this: in the Device Manager, delete the entries of CPU
  Restart the laptop and wait until the system has recognized and installed the CPU driver again.

• Score Windows Experience lowered from 5.8 to 3.4 after reinstallation of Windows 7

  I have a laptop Dell N110r I had to reinstall Windows 7 due to a virus on my hard drive. After doing so my windows experience score reduced from 5.8 to 3.4 the base being the CPU score. I visited the website of elbow and conducted an analysis of system and updated all the drivers. I also clicked on each driver in Device Manager and clicked on put to update driver. My graphics were also reduced dramatically. Is there something else I can do. Pease do not post put me a link that offers a hardware upgrade, because this is exactly the same material into the machine as before the o/s has been reinstalled and score 5.8 gave an hour before reinstalling. The system continues to try to install Interface human chipsets when it has already been downloaded from the Dell website, but has not been opened to install the chipset drivers after that were unzipped.   What is an installation of Windows 7 Pro 64 - bit of a retail installation DVD purchase, or something HP?  If I remember well Vista 64 was the latest HP OS with sold.  In this case you won't have to deal with a set of HP restore disks.  I would never do an "upgrade" of a prior installation of OS in W7.  I only do not clean install W7 on a freshly long-type reformatted hard drive or an SSD.  I buy my "system builder" OEM license W7Pro 64 - bit DVD/COA from newegg.com (you can find that many sources and approximately 140.00 each).

  Plan to do a clean install on this SSD from scratch and when you format before that settle does long formatting version, while it is booted from the W7 DVD.  That will take some time.  Or, if you have a functioning before the OS install on a hard drive, you can restore the xw8600 you can connect the SSD in the second or third SATA port and reformat (long version) management of records like this.

  The boot drive or SSD, Spinner, must always be connected to the primary SATA port, which in these workstations, is usually blue plastic, while the rest are a dark black.

  Make sure that your BIOS is later... There was a version for this and the xw6600 with a few months ago.  It is an important.

  Put the SSD in your favorite mount, hang it in the main SATA port, prepare the W7 DVD in the DVD drive (which should be attached to the second port SATA or IDE cable if it's a DVD ATA drive). Throwing xw8600, go straight into the BIOS and go to which you can change the SATA emulation.  Change that on "RAID + AHCI.  Save on the way out of the BIOS, and the workstation will now reboot usually requiring formal approval of the change F1.

  Demarrer start on the DVD, select clean install and things will be fine.  I usually set my boot order to start hard drive/SSD first and second optical drive.  Then, when I load an OS I just use the F9 key during the early start to switch to the DVD player for this single event.

  It's the key information: If you have correctly set to "RAID + AHCI" SATA emulation for the W7 installation process, then the appropriate drivers will not be loaded from the DVD on the startup disk, and you won't receive anywhere near your expected speed.  I helped a friend who had done exactly what you did, and when we corrected things literally double SSD performance scores.  I recommend that the reformatting/clean reinstall from zero here, because you want to really perfect the basics and the way he was treated initially can leave you with a few important questions.

  After you have things working with the SSD and the DVD player you can add in your other material sequentially.  I would like to make a reboot between each addition, just be very careful.  Some old HP DVD drives have a problem with W764 loading during the emulation of the SATA BIOS is set correctly and there is a solution for this, but you don't want from now this info.

• Satellite Pro A100 - can I exchange the CPU?

  I have a Satellite Pro A100-198 with a core duo processor. I would like to replace the processor of a Satellite Pro A100 830, which is Core2Duo in the Pro A100-198. They both have the same chipset-expected-they be any problem with that? This would increase the clock speed of 1.66 GHz to 2.0 GHz. They all have two Intel 945 PM Express chipset.

  I just upgraded from XP to Windows 7 32 bit and the performance score is 3.4. My BIOS version is 1.9 and I see there is an upgrade to win all the version 6, but I can't find the BIOS version history - it is better to upgrade. For the moment, I'll see if there are problems.

  As far as I know the two books belongs to the PSAACE series. Can you confirm this? You can find this information on the underside of the laptop.

  Normally if the books belong to the same series, it should be possible to exchange the CPU. They use the same hardware, so you can exchange.

  But don t forget this isn't supported CPU upgrade. If you have the warranty you will lose it. Other s CPU are pre-tested not on your laptop.
