  HP does not have hardware support for Windows 8 on any system purchased before October 1, 2011.  Most of the Windows 7 drivers work in Windows 8.

  I understand that you have changed your operating system to windows 7 from vista, and you are not able to locate the drivers on the HP site.

  The drivers you are looking at are specifically for windows vista not for 7 so these drivers would not work for this laptop.

  One thing you might try download this HP Support Assistant program, and it will try to search for and find drivers and compatible software for your laptop. Click on this link and will need you the HP Support Assistant page.

  The HP laptop with XP get "Low" signal every time I'm in the other room that is not too much longer off the router, about 60 to 70 feet away from him.  Then, yesterday, I got USB Netgear adapter in the hope of trying to get more signal.  Because, says a guy in the store of the computer installation USB adapter is 'boost' to get decent and more signals.

  The general idea that a USB adapter is a bit a booster dose is false. I'm not sure that you will get the USB Ant thing you don't get the laptop.

  According to the physical environment, 60 to 70 domestic feet with walls is probably beyond the capacity of the wireless router.

  I ran the program with no major problems windows 7 compatibility.  I loaded windows 7 Home premium 32-bit, and everything seems to work fine except the sound card.  I tried HP and RealTek for a pilot.  I downloaded a compatible Windows 7 RealTek driver and loaded on the computer.  Still no audio.  When I look at the audio driver in Device Manager, it says that the device cannot start (code 10).  I spent time with a person of HP on the cat and the end point of this session was that I had to go back to XP.  Is there a solution for the audio driver that will allow me to continue running windows 7, but with audio working?  My laptop has a processor Celeron 2.8 GHz and 1.2 GB of ram.  Thanks for any help.

  I was able to download and run the program.  Sound is now working with alerts and music.  I got the message "No ADI codec driver installed", but Device Manager shows no problems with the sound card.

  could you please let me know where to find the driver bluetooth for HP 15-g221AU (L8N57PA).  Section of adapter from the Device Manager does not list the bluetooth driver. In other devices, it lists BCM43142A0 which seems to be the bluetooth module. Please point to the correct drivr for bluetooth. Note also that the drivrs wifi work correctly.
