Wait while the treatment - Javascript?

Hello

I have two applications that take a long time to process.

I want to display a mesaage asking the user to wait while the treatment is over... also to prevent them from entering 'send' twice

I expect a solution I'm looking for is a Javascript script?

Any help is welcome

Thank you

Pete

  • Please wait while the document is being prepared for reading

    I just upgraded to Acrobat Pro DC. I now get the following on some of my documents error message: "Please wait while the document is being prepared for reading". For a large document, it takes a desperately long time to read all the pages. And the message appears whenever I open it.

    I tried to get help from a support technique cat last night. I was told that I could go back to the latest version of Acrobat Pro. It is a sad reflection on the company.

    I really don't like something on the DC, but I know that most of the problems will be fixed within the time with updates.

    Thanks for any help,

  • Blank screen bed "Please wait while the connection is established. It is a virus and we can remove it? Help, please!

    When we turn on the computer, we get a white screen blank with the above message in English and German. Immediately shut us down because we fear that if we stay connected, we could leave in a virus taking information. We do not know what to do now! The same message appears when starting the computer is safe mode.

    Helen, do you have an original disk installation or upgrade from Microsoft for your operating system (or others with the same OS and bit-size, you can borrow from someone), or you have a recovery disc (not a system restore disk but a recovery disk) for this operating system?  You can either boot and access Recovery Options which includes the restoration of the system (after maybe change the BIOS boot sequence - it displays very briefly, just after you start the computer and is usually F2 or F12 - to begin first of all on the CD drive, if it is not already defined in this way).  In my view, that is in front of the white screen because it do not use the operating system on the boot hard disk.

    If you do not have a floppy disk, depending on your operating system, it would be possible to create one on another computer.  What is your operating system (for example, Vista Business SP2 - 32-bit and Yes, detailing a lot)?

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    Hello

    I have an interactive report where the user can add dynamic filters run by selection lists.

    I have a custom image of waiting that appears in the middle of the screen when I apply these filters to IR.

    I want to show this picture to custom also wait while the user is working directly with the search bar of the IR.
    Loading the default IR image appears only at the end of my query. For example, if the report takes 5 seconds to be refreshed, I see the image only for 1 second at the end.

    I tried all of dynamic measurements to display my display custom without success...

    No idea how I can do?

    Hello

    There is a known issue with display inconsistent loading GIF in SEIR and websheets in APEX 4.0, as shown here:

    http://www.Oracle.com/technology/products/database/application_express/HTML/4.0_known_issues.html

    (See bug 9893744 in "relative to the other 4.0 bugs").

    This was the cause for the delay in processing GIF, then may be related to how you feel by default.

    Kind regards
    Anthony.

  • JavaScript/AJAX - Show image while the update is done and then hide it.

    I want to do an update with AJAX, but I want an image 'pending' to be displayed before the update and then hide later. In this way, if there is a delay in the update or a line lock, the screen freezes not just, it displays an icon of 'Please wait '.
    I use code like the following to record in the database when a field is not checked (does it facilitate the trial):
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function deselect_field(f) {
      f.disabled=true;
      f.className=f.className + " saving";

      var v=new htmldb_Get(null,&APP_ID.,'APPLICATION_PROCESS=SC_TEST',0);
      v.add(f.name,f.value);
      v.get()

      f.className=f.className.replace("saving"," ");
      f.disabled=false;
    }
    </script>
    The economy class defines the background. I tested without the parameter no and it works fine. I think the problem is ajax is called too quickly, that is to say until the screen has had the chance to update.

    SO-, my question is, how do I get the display of images (animated gif) while the AJAX call is the treatment and then hide it in the end?
    Rather not use JQuery if possible.

    Thank you

  • Switch 10 - Please wait while we install an update of the system

    Hello

    Recently, I brought a switch 10. Whenever I turn on the camera, I see the Acer Logo and he said: "Please wait while we install an update of the system.

    I must have started the device about 40 times now, but it does every time.

    Windows updates are up-to-date and are therefore all updates from Acer.

    Any ideas on how to stop this happening?

    Thank you

    Cory,

    Sorry for the previous post - I just noticed, that last Wednesday, you published an update of the BIOS (1,16).

    Guys, I'm happy to admit that this update has fixed the problem for me. Although I had hurt a bit (I had to restart Windows in order to restart the upgrade process) and after you apply the fix on the first start, that I was also able to see the spam message, at the next start-up went well.

    Thank you for the support, now my switch behaves as expected.

    See you soon!

  • Please wait while Windows configures FAX"... this process stops and I get another message that says:"the component you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or another removable disk that is not available. "

    Original title: widows installation problem

    I have Windows XP Professional running on a desktop older.  I cleaned the disk and I would use it only as a 'internet '.  It works well and response times are pretty fast, but when I connect I get a box that says "Please wait while Windows configures FAX"... this process stops and I get another message that says "the component you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or another removable disk that is not available", "put the 'FAX' disk and click OK. , "" Use Source: '1' "»

    The first question is I do not use a fax application and never did, I have tried every disk I can think of to complete the process, but I get the same message with each one 'the path '1' is not found. "Make sure you have access to this place and try gain or find the installation 'FAX, MSI' package in a folder from which you can install the FAX product." .. then "error 1706 - FAX." Valid any source not found for the FAX product.  Windows Installer cannot continue. »

    This will take place two or three times at the beginning upward.  How can I prevent Windows Setup tries to install something that I do not use or do not seem to have?  I deleted any fax program, that I could find on the computer, and nothing seems to work.

    Hello

    1. have you done any change in software on the computer lately?
    2. are you able to install other applications and programs successfully?

    Check to see if the problem exists in Safe Mode, if the computer works as expected in mode without failure, then we can solve the problem in the clean boot state. There is an application which is set to start when you start the computer and which launches the installer of Windows.
    a. refer to the article below for the procedure safe mode in Windows XP
    A description of the options to start in Windows XP Mode
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315222

    b. you need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.
    How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

    Note: When you are finished troubleshooting, follow the steps as explained in the article to reset the computer to start as usual.

    I hope this helps.
