  We have a scheme-> others-> HFM_ESB-> TIME table.

  Now, I need to connect to HFMESB. TIME table. When I try to give this table in the ODI data store, I get the message as invalid table name.

  Any suggestions on how to call and reverse engineer these tables in ODI.

  We were previously using synonyms and therefore sees no problems. But now we cannot synonyms, where to get this working...

  Apparently HFM_ESB is your schema.

  First, you create the server data in ODI, if you have not done: go in the topology tab in ODI Studio, then under Physical Architecture done right click on Oracle and choose new server data. Enter a name for your database server for example TRG_MyName and specify the username/password, for example, USER: ODI_STAGING PASS: MyPass. On the JDBC specify the driver JDBC and URL, for example: oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver and jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:orcl respectfully. Save and close the window.

  Second, on the right, click on the (new) database server and click new schema of Phisical , specify a name and then set the schema: HFM_ESB and the scheme of work: ODI_STAGING

  Please note: If you do not have ODI_STAGING diagram you can specify your HFM_ESB as a USER and working scheme

  Thirdly, under the logical Architecture right-click on Oracle technology and create new logical schema specifies a name and you can leave the Global context and choose the given (new) physical schema in the physical patterns column.

  Fourth, go to the tab of the topology to the Designer tab. In the bar of models , click on the folder and new model of. Now, on the definition tab, enter a name for your model, choose Oracle as the technology, choose the logical schema that we just created. Go to the tab of bone , here you can leave everything in the Standard/table report which means do the standard reverse engineering for all tables in the given schema. If you want only to reconstruct the table PERIOD comes down to the click tab Sélective Reverse-Engineering on all the boxes at the top, then, under the control of column name of the Table field only PERIOD box and finally click on the button of boning (at the top left).

  I habe a full export created with expdp. I want to import a table (tkz.verlauf) of this fullexport to another schema (Tom) with another (zzz) name of this table.

  I tried this:

  content = all

  Full = N

  Directory = ORADUMP

  dumpfile = fullexp.dmp

  sqlFile = IMP. SQL

  logfile = IMP.log

  schemas = tkz

  tables = verlauf

  remap_schema = tkz:blubb

  REMAP_TABLESPACE = verlauf:zzz

  But it does not work:

  You must just have something like this

  Directory = ORADUMP

  dumpfile = fullexp.dmp

  logfile = IMP.log

  tables is TKZ. Verlauf

  remap_schema = tkz:blubb

  remap_table = verlauf:zzz

  Not sure if you want to rename the table or put a different tablespace (I did rename the table) - replace the last line with rather than table tablespace if you just want it in a different tablespace.

  I'm working on a project were I am importing to Dreamweaver html code. I just do all of my changes in Dreamweaver and then re-import the file.

  You can make changes in the file inside Muse. Just right click on your imported html file and select "edit HTML" in the menu list.

  I'm working on a complex project in RH9. (all work in HR)

  I made all changes to the htm files I needed.

  I went to rename the .htt file and upon entry, RH 9 is CRUSHED!

  When I opened it, my OCD was completely GONE!

  Fortunately, I made a backup of the directory a few hours ago.

  Options:

  A.) go to the backup and redo work hours (not what I want to do).

  (B) somehow import the table of contents of the backup to the new project.

  I hope that it is something stupid and very easy to do. It's a VERY complex TOC (print pages 11) if I don't want to redo from scratch.

  To import a table of contents in an existing project, you can follow the steps below:

  1. go to the POD project manager and expand the folder for the table of contents

  2. click on new table of contents in the right click Menu

  3. give the name to the table of contents you want

  4. check the "Copy the Table of contents" and find the TOC file you want to import

  5. click OK and all the content of the table of contents must be imported.

  If I want to import a table from a DMP on UNIX to my user where I already have a new version, but I don't want to give up this new version, because I only move files from one to the other, is an import option for importing the table with another name? I want to say I want to import it on the same user, where there is already the MYTABLE table, an older version of MYTABLE by impoting with the new name MYTABLE_OLD, if eventually I can update MYTABLE with some of the old files of the old version MYTABLE_OLD.   You can't do it directly.

  You can import the Table into a different schema, and then rename the table.

  export and import in the required schema.

  Use the following method

  IMP = log = name of username/password file display = Yes full = yes

  It will not import all data fill rather everything in the log file.

  Yes, you can and there should be no restrictions. I understand that you have customized tables, and it should be OK to import these tables.

• Import a table of Windows Journal

  When I import a Word document that contains lines (as in a table) in Windows journal, the table or lines disappear.

  Happen around mid-September (this problem is not moved before), so I suspect it might have been caused by an update. I saw another reference to this subject, but I didn't have the update listed in my list of installed updates.

  I can't go back to a restore point from the system because earlier that I can go back is early October.

  For now, I must make my Word documents pdf documents and import the latter into Windows Journal.

  I don't know if they have a team, but my honest opinion, it's that they don't care.  They do what they want, and if it works for you - good news.  If it isn't - you're still stuck with them.

  This latest patch cumulative (12/11/2015) caused the problem.  Before KB 304 6002 was issued to protect a vulnerability, and if you have uninstalled this patch the problem disappeared.  I don't have what you need to uninstall to take care of the problem yet.  Microsoft has made it clear that this vulnerability can not be exploited until and unless you are logged in as administrator.  So why can they not allow things if you're not admin and restrict only when you are admin to limit vulnerability.

  This also causes problems with reading in some pdf files via import OR drag and drop.

  Microsoft - there are many users of newspaper in the community of teachers who use this feature - please fix as soon as POSSIBLE.

  "ignore = y" in the traditional import will ignore only the errors for creating objects - imp will still try to import the data in these tables, if they exist.

  Get the error on tahiti, I realized this must be a common problem and is described in Metaclunk.
  So in Metaclunk I get "ora-02304 imp' and came up with 1066139.6 ML.
  It describes your situation.
  So many times, it is very easy to solve your problems in a few minutes. I always wonder why people walk immediately into shock and horror and nothing to do when they hit a mistake.

  Source table have 45lacks of data. These data must be load in the target table.

  I create interface. I took LKM SQL SQL & IKM SQL for SQL incremental Add.

  yesterday I executed interface, I checked the status in the browser of the operator. "his display like the loading status.

  However, the interface is in State of loading.

  sometimes odi is unresponsive. Plese help me.

  Need to add all the fetch sizes?

  As you say, I tried with different knowledge modules. I used the incremental update IKM for db and db 45 do not data loading.

  its really increase performance. with in 10 minutes it will be correctly loaded into the target table. previously, I used SQL & SQL LKM, IKM SQL for SQL control append.it takes a long time. It takes two days also data is not loaded in the target table. really bad performance.

  I used DB loading for better performnace LKM SQL to ORACLE & IKM INCREMENTAL UPDATE.
