Wallpaper images are on "stretch" setting in Windows 7.

I tried to put my images of wallpaper to "fit" or "center", but the image keeps going back to 'stretch '. I went through all the necessary steps to save the new settings. but nothing seems to work. I even tried different images with different resolutions, but everything I have tried does not seem to work, my image keeps going back to 'stretch '.

My operating system is Vista Home Premium. We have two user accounts: mine (Administrator) and my husband.  On his account, all his images links are broken.  Images with assistance, the Explorer, Google (weather, calendar) desktop tools.  I did basic with verification troubleshooting settings, and the launch of Windows Update.  What is different on his user account?

    Hello

1 are there any changes or updates made on the computer before the show?

    2. what browser you use on the computer?

    Method 1:

If you use Internet Explorer and you should disable or hide pictures, then I suggest you to follow the following steps:

    a. open Internet Explorer.

    b. click on Tools.

    c. click on Internet Options.

    d. on the Advanced tab, check the option show the pictures.

    e. click apply and OK.

    Method 2:

I suggest to optimize Internet Explorer and check to see if it helps.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/936213/ro

Note: Please note that reset settings Internet Explorer (IE) will reset all of the settings defined by the user, including those established by the installed extensions, toolbars and other add-ons for IE by default. This includes all the security, privacy and settings area. Also this will erase browsing history, delete all temporary Internet, cookies, form data files and especially all the passwords.

    Method 3:

I suggest to create a new user account and check if the problem persists.

    Create a user profile.

When I'm in split mode, I can't see my pictures.  I think it is due to the fact that the server my images are now only support connections made on TLS version 1.2.  Is there a setting in DreamWeaver, I can change to take account of my images be seen?  Then I see mode live view but not in the edit view.  I use DreamWeaver CS5

It's normal when you are in mode split with Code and design, while the external use referenced images. There is no setting to fix it.

As a work around, I normally keep a copy local images in a file of site when working on an html email, then just before the code for the e-mail service hovers over, I'll do a quick search & replace to add the absolute paths for images server copies.

Live View mode should show images correctly, but editing is not possible in DWCS6 although later versions now have an editor in Live mode.

  • Why some images are stretched in Premier Pro 5.5?

I am trying to create a video slideshow using jpg images.  The images are of size vary, but all are sized at a height of 1080.  The widths are set to give the good image format while keeping the height constant.  Most of the widths is 1620 or 1440.  I have the sequence defined for a 1920 x 280 video.  I have problems with the images of 1440 x 1080.  The width extends to the full 1920 with no black bars on the side.  1620 x 1080 images display correctly with black bars on each side.  I can't understand how to fix this.  Any ideas?

    Thank you

  • My pictures are being stretched East & West.

My pictures are being stretched East & West or left and right.  This distorts the image.  How can I stop?   I'm Windows Explorer to see my photos.

Seems that you have a screen 16:9 wide screen and
View full screen 4:3 pictures. It would be stretch them.

In order to view an image full screen on an almost square
screen in the shape of rectangle... one of two things has to happen...
the image will be stretched or it needs to be cropped to fit to the
    aspect ratio of the screen.

Setting the resolution of your screen to the "Native resolution".
your monitor should clear this but your 4:3 pix will not
    fill a 16:9 screen.

Probably not "the" answer... but the following article can enlighten us:

Troubleshooting of computer monitor: the stretch on the side
    http://ask-Leo.com/troubleshooting_computer_monitor_problems_the_sideways_stretch.html

(FWIW... before you change the resolution of your screen, it can be)
a good idea to create a System Restore Point so that you can
restore the current settings if you're not satisfied of the
    new result.)

To change your screen resolution settings... Click right on your
desktops and from the menu choose...

Properties / Settings tab / drag.

  • Cursor images are cut off 20%-80% of the height, has been very good in 34

On our Web site, we have a slider with about 10 images that have always worked. Now, users who have installed the update of Firefox to 35.01 cannot see the full images. Instead, some images are cut off 20%-80% of the way down on the cursor, while others are intact and completely visible. Image size/type has no effect.

    Everyone knows this?

Clear the cache and delete cookies only from Web sites that cause problems.

    "Clear the Cache":

    • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

    'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

    • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > "Use the custom settings for history" > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

    • Tools > Options > advanced > General > Browsing: "use hardware acceleration when available.

You will need to close and restart Firefox after enabling/disabling this setting.

  • Background images are not displayed (CSS, other images ok

I tried to empty cache, watched: config for odd configurations, made a private window and disabled all extensions. None of them had no effect.

Test pages: Amazon.com and https://developer.mozilla.org/samples/cssref/background-image.html - two of these pages have loaded by CSS background pictures. For example, the Amazon logo at the top left is a background loaded from a CSS page. The image itself can be found in gross:

    This image cannot:
    https://developer.Mozilla.org/samples/cssref/images/starsolid.gif

But why, why why these images are displayed on their relevant Web pages? I see that Amazon, eBay, and many other sites Web without a range full of images. In particular those used for menus and other important navigation buttons.

Here's what I see on the Mozilla page mentioned above: I see the text, but no expandable star image. It works in other browsers and on other computers in Firefox.

The page that I tap on right now has no blue background, windows are not correct (as the search engine is not a rounded grey area) and the magnifying of research is missing. So this experience makes it impossible the use of simple pages.

  • Wallpaper images load oversized cut about 1 "of the original photo.

As indicated, the background screen images are cut approximately 1 "autour. The original pictures are 1024 X 768 size. It seems as if the picture will leave the size of moose to 120%. Don't know if this has changed on the computer since I don't change that often wallpaper, but having someones cut front is a bit boring... • Cannot send an image resized by e-mail in Windows Photo Gallery, because an e-mail window opens with no button SEND. What should I do to SEND a button to appear?

I have vista os, 64-bit office.

I also have a 64 bit Windows Vista computer. I just opened the Windows Photo Gallery, click on the image that I want to send, and then select e-mail in the top row (mid). Then right-click and choose your preferred size (I send usually the smallest size available - so it does not use too much bandwidth) and then click "join". Your e-mail program opens and you just need to fill in the recipient's address and click 'send '. You are using Windows Mail or Outlook as your preferred e-mail program? Or are you using an email on the internet such as Hotmail? I have not found any problems with Outlook or Windows Mail (Windows Mail comes with the Vista operating system). If you need help setting up Windows Mail, contact your Internet service provider. Or write to this forum for help.

  • Changing the proportions of the image on a group of photos (Windows Live Photo Gallery)

My wife has 3000 pictures she needs to get into a 4:3 proportion.
The only way I can see where to change the proportion is under the crop tool, but which requires to enter each photo individually and cropping.
It has 3000 pictures to do. Y at - it an easier way.
Second, if a force gross is the only method, is there a way to tell from the file properties whose pictures are already in the proportion 4:3? When I view the dimensions of the photo and see that a picture is 3888 x 2592, I need to calculate if it is 4:3. Which would take more time than change the image itself.
