Want to Phoenix - Pavilion 27xi: rotation display

When I turned on my computer this morning the screen has rotated 90 degrees.  It started okay initially but when he got to the password prompt display was/is 90 degrees outside!

Hello

Another method would be to right click on an empty area of the desktop, select the screen resolution and then set the Orientation to landscape - click on apply and Ok to save the change.

Kind regards

  • HP Pavilion 27xi US power adapter will work in the United Kingdom?

Hi, I am trying to import the HP Pavilion 27xi to the United Kingdom that HP won't seem to be released in Europe and I love the look of this montor, I must have it. My question is will be connected the adapter that comes with the work of the American model in the United Kingdom with a UK power cable or do I need some sort of votage converter.

    Cheers.

    raven77,

    These external power supplies used with laptop computers, monitors, televisions, computers AIO, etc. generally have a range of voltage of 100v - 240v alternating current. Just her remember, I went and looked up the specs of the HP Pavilion 27xi 27 inch diagonal IPS LED backlit screen. This page has not had the information I was looking for, so I enterd the HP p/n in HP PartSurfer's who stated that the following HP products also use same power supply external;

2511 x 25 inches diagonal screen ACL from HP
    HP 2711 x 27-inch diagonal LCD monitor
    HP 25BW MONITOR
HP PAVILION 25xi 25 inch IPS MTR WE
HP PAVILION 27XI 27 INCH IPS MNT WE
HP Pavilion 27bw 27 inch IPS MNT WE

    I then looked at the specs for the HP 2711 x 27-inch diagonal LED display who, according to the HP PartSurfer, uses the same power supply as the HP 27xi and found the following;

    -AC/DC adapter rated input power source: 100 to 240 v ~

    Frequency: 50 ~ 60 Hz

Power consumption: 40 Watts max power consumption (30 Watts typical energy consumption).<1 watt="" energy="" saving="">

On this basis the external power supply for HP 27xi should accept 100-240v, 50-60 Hz input and function as expected. You should only need a compatible power cable to connect the power supply to the sector.

    Please send Bravo

  • HP Pavilion 27xi monitor: monitor HP Pavilion 27xi: Mac Mini running Yosmite display problem

    Hello @adsben,

I understand that the image quality for your HP monitor is poor when connected to your Mac Mini, and I'd be happy to help you in this case!

According to this document on the use of Monitors HP on a Mac:

"The HP monitors are not supported in a Mac environment. However, recent Macs use graphics with VESA modes and can display most of the HP LCD monitors. To do this, connect the monitor to the Mac, while the Mac is turned off and then turn on Mac. The monitor must operate at 60 Hz. The INF and software for the HP monitor are for Microsoft Windows and cannot be run in a standard MAC OS environment. »

    I hope this helps!

  • Pavilion dv6-4024tx: display random crashing after upgrade to Windows 10 (back to Windows 7)

    Hey all,.

I used to own a computer laptop dv6-4024tx Pavilion which I gave to my father to use after you have bought a new laptop for my part. It was in pretty good condition when I gave it to him, with the only problem being that she would get very hot unless a cooling pad was used (which I it comes with). At the time, it was running Windows 7 Home Premium with no problems and everything was fine. However, it might be interesting to note that while I had it I had problems with random blue screens while I was with the latest graphics drivers, so I drove back to the drivers supplied on the support page for this laptop. After I "upgraded" to Windows 10 (do not perform a clean install) for my dad, the laptop would randomly crash and display something like the photo that I have attached, before going empty and show again several times. Believing that it would be a problem with the GPU, I went and Display Driver Uninstaller to remove completely all AMD drivers and software, downloaded the latest driver on the AMD website and installed. It seemed to temporarily solve the problem, but as it's always within 30 days of installation, I offered to go back to Windows 7, but my father wanted to leave it and see how it happened. Oddly enough, for the next month, it never reported the laptop crashing again and the time period for return finally expired. The problem of course back then I tried the same solution from before but the noise continued. I tried to disable the GPU completely from the Device Manager, so that the laptop was running with Microsoft Basic display adapter. He seems to have stopped the fracas, but less than a week my father told me that he had crashed again.  I tried to restore the laptop to a system image I had done years ago, but I learned that you cannot restore an image to a different version of Windows System. Finally, as a last resort I backed everything up and made a real clean install of Windows 10, and the problem has not yet disappear.

My goal now is to return the Windows 7 laptop somehow. I can mount a virtual image of the system hard drive and access all the recovery files provided by HP, specifically the Recovery Manager. From there, I can do a recovery USB or DVD (s) we hope to restore the laptop to all conditions of factory (so theoretically return to Windows 7). I will try this, but I need a flash player more than 20 GB or several blank DVDs I don't currently. In addition, Recovery Manager says that this medium can never be created once, so it save me time and money (not to mention my last lifeline) if someone could please share their views on the question of whether this method would be successful or not. I know in case it doesn't work, there is always the question of registration of the OS by Microsoft, but I can cross that bridge when I get to it.

Sorry for the essay I just wrote, but this has been a problem for too long, and I am at a loss to know what to do now (apart from the purchase of another computer). If there are any questions I'll be happy to answer, and I hope we can get this issue is resolved. See you soon.

If you follow this step 3.

    http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/675-system-image-recovery.html

You will need to select "format and repartition disks" as windows 10 will have changed partitions.

  • Pavilion 6154ea: Radeon display error - display driver stopped responding and has recovered

Received a UN expected error in the web search, actully screen off for a few seconds before receiving an error on the display driver stopped responding and recovery.

Took a glance in the peripheral section where the 2nd adapter displays without any sign of error.

After recently installing a new SDS moving from the HARD drive, reinstall windows 7 etc via the updates and the order to make recovery disc the laptop because I used receive a blue screen error frequently, so that the display driver does not not error occasionally when using the design programs.  Therefore assumed, needed a new HDD/SSD and factory restore.

-Laptop computer has been cleaned withdrawal because keyboard, frame etc. with solvents as a cleaner. Therefore cannot be over heating the fan works hard to due and SSD.

-Power supply has been connected to the time

N ' was not overclocked as it is when using disk HARD aswell

It wasn't until today where it happened again, without the blue screen though. So decided I would look at him and realized it is a common problem with the ATI drivers, when I assumed it was a HARD drive failure all along.

This time the screen turned off for a few seconds, more then previously which is a little disturbing. Was only using a search engine with no program in the background. Infact havn't got round to reinstall files and software so the laptop is very clean and basic and works so don't know why I feel this fast.

Need to know your opinion on this please, may not know... (Radeon HD 6490M)

    Hi @skibbles,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question in the subject of your HP Pavilion dv7-6154ea Entertainment Notebook and problems with the display driver stopped responding. I recommend to restore the default BIOS settings. You could restore the BIOS with this document by selecting the reload the default BIOS settings. This resets the hardware parameters and contributed to others.

Here is a link to test the material if you need it. It checks the pieces to see if something is a failure.

  • HP Pavilion dv2700 laptop displays the message "system CMOS checksum failed" every time you start

    Hi @all,

I have a HP Pavilion dv2700 - kh933ea laptop computer #abv (it is a HP Pavilion dv2799ee Special Edition Entertainment Notebook PC to be exact) that displays the message "system CMOS checksum failed. Press F1 to continue"every time you start the system. My OS is Windows 7 / 32 bit.

Then I updated my BIOS to version 2.4e, 01-dec-08 Phoenix (the SMBIOS version remained the same before 2.4), but the issue is not resolved. I have attached a screenshot for processor and BIOS versions.

Can someone guide me on how to solve this problem?

Thank you very much in advance.

I don't see the screenshot of your post attachments. Please repost them.

This error message means that WHAT BIOS is damaged. You will need to have the BIOS flashed in a mobile shop, repair a BIOS or an HP Service Center. Do a search online with Google or Bing repair for a BIOS.  If you keep trying to update the BIOS there will come a time where everything you have a black screen.

  • HP Pavilion 27xi Pavilion 9180: Pavilion watch 27xi

I bought 4 of these 27xi of Pavilion for two workstations at Costco and think that I must return.  I am now faced with a problem with one where after commissioning there is a 4 "x 4" box where the monitor is just blacked out. When I restart sometimes it will go away. It may take several reboots to do. I turned as just the screen works a few times and then it will go away. All of these are purchased at the same time so I think thet all will begin to die on me like that?

I've read through the forums and someone posted that HP does not support really win 10 with drivers.

I also had this problem with the monitor with win 7 pro until I recently updated for free, hoping the 10 victory would solve the problem. If it was the operating system, then all four of these monitors would be to have questions.

I also did a factory reset and that did not help.

After migrating to win 10, now all the task bar icons appear on both monitors for each workstation, which is the best.  I checked and have the updated drivers for monitors. When I searched the HP site for the resolutions he comes, says to restart your machine but nothing beyond that did not.

The funniest part of this is when the computer starts and restarts, it will show the screen turned on properly, and then only then by default is the blackened area. It's as if she is capable, but something makes it just by default with blackened area. Then after a few off and ons the blackened area will disappear. It's like he needs to warm up or something.  I spent a lot of money on these monitors and assumed that they would last longer than about 2 years.

There is no option to select the monitors for any product here and no issue that works for this. Please move this to the best location when it exists. Not obvious from there where it would be.

I would like to upload a photo of him, but I don't see a way to do it here.

    Hi @Trillium,

Please become a member of the HP's Support Forums. I understand that you have a problem with the monitor showing a black square. I'll be happy to help you.

Please see the documents to HP Flat Panel monitors LCD - Monitor is empty.

With the monitors, there is very little for troubleshooting. Make sure of course connected to the cycle wall and power. Check that the cables are connected correctly.

Regarding the computer, if it is the HP Pavilion Elite e9180t desktop PC, all drivers for Windows 10 comes from Microsoft or the manufacturing of components. for example Radeon or GeForce video card.

Please keep me informed of the progress of things.

If you need help, let me know and I will gladly make all that I can to help you.

  • WANT to Phoenix h9 - 1315t: DVD - Win 8 Recovery Kit order

I recently had a hard drive failure total in my desktop HP ENVY Phoenix h9 - 1315t. I haven't had a set of recovery disks (I know, bad move on my part...) Yes, I learned my lesson). I went online and ordered a set of recovery discs for my computer and chose a method of delivery of 2 days; These discs were never shipped. I looked at the email that I received confirmation from HP and it said to contact HP, as the shipment was pending. I contacted HP and they advised me that they did not have an order of Service to customer for the number I provided them with. I went through the process again, about 1.5 hours on the phone with the Customer Service order Support and put in place another order. The Customer Service Agent in charge the recovery discs took my information, confirmed that the disks were available and we have implemented a new order. This time I asked they sent out of service the following day, for a fee of $30, since I was without a computer for about 3 weeks. waiting for discs to arrive. The disks were supposed to have been here yesterday, 22/01/2016, they haven't arrived, they did not come today either. I went and did a request for order status and it still tells me that shipping is the treatment and contact HP. I would really like some answers regarding when can I expect to get the disks and if there is some other problem please contact me. I did receive emails or phone calls.

It crashes on different actions as go full screen on You Tube, or while I'm streaming video to the TV via the hdmi port, at the start of games (PES, COD...), when copying images on documents, etc. Display can also sometimes work perfectly for several days. When it crashes the blue screen appears on the screen with this technical information:

I understand that you are having periodic crashes normally with atikmpag.sys in a blue screen message.

A common cause of this type of problem is the hardware acceleration feature, either from your browser or Adobe.
