WAP4410N is not saving settings
I just got a WAP4410N and managed to connect to the web interface. It is not allowing me to change many settings. I try to change the wireless network mode and click on save and it goes back to off again.
Help, please.
P.S. I just updated the firmware of 2.0.3.3 and tried to deliver to the factory default. none worked.
Hi Ryan, please try to use different internet browsers and make sure your java is on the last update. If possible, try to upgrade to the 2.0.5.3 code as well.

Build package not saved settings
I have an ActionScript Mobile project targeting Android I started on a computer, then I copied on another and kept work from there.
He uses a few native extensions that are included in the project folder.
EVERY TIME I open this project in Flash Builder 4.6, I have to go to the project/settings/ActionScript build packaging/Google Android / Native Extension and check the box "package" for native extensions that I use. In the contrary case, it obviously gives packaging errors when you build the project to debug or release.
Also, in the "Digital Signature" tab, I have to search for a valid certificate each time. He still remember the path of the certificate from the old computer and even after I select a path to a certificate valid, it is not saved, and I have to go again the next time I open the project.
Why the hell are these settings not saved?
Is there a solution?
Thank you
m.
Hello
Flash Builder stores DONKEY path settings in the page ".actionScriptProperties. Due to Settings folder of the machine, the ".actionScriptProperties" file becomes read only prevents the settings to be saved. Thus, the ideal way to move a project to another machine using "Import-export" workflow. But, if you copy and paste the project in the case where you enter in this problem, and then navigate to the location of the project folder and change the permissions of the file ".actionScriptProperties" to allow reading / writing.
Thank you

Server not saving settings is not in DW5 Mac
Hi all
A few weeks ago (pre 10.7.3 update, Mac OS X Lion), I made the system maintenance som who broke the ability to save my server userid and password in the management of the site. I can enter my login details and it will be saved as long as DW is open, but if I quit the app and restart it immediately, I have to get my info. I tried to delete all the files preferences, reconstruction of the permissions, disk maintenance (it there has some problems, even uninstall then reinstall the entire suite WebPremium to nothing done.) Anyone have any ideas on how to get the settings to stick?
Thank you
Lou
The problem isn't the preferences file. The problem is the keychain and I've experienced this first hand. First open the keychain app in the folder Utitilies (or press command-space to publicize and type "keychain", it will be the first). Then in the search at the top of the key, type "SiteServer '. Which will bring up the passwords of DW. If you do not know your passwords, open each and write them. Once you know them, delete the records that came from your search. Go to open DW. All passwords are now missing, and you will need to go through your site 1 by 1 and add passwords. Site definitions will always be in touch, only passwords will be re-recorded for DW uses the Apple keychain to store passwords and not the configuration files. DW close and reopen again, your passwords need to be good to go.

The printer Adobe PDF not saving settings do not
I'm working on a Windows 7 machine and I can't seem to save the settings of the Adobe PDF printer. When in "Devices and printers" I right click on the 'Adobe PDF' printer and select "Print Options". In the Print Options window, it is sometimes a button 'Apply', when this window opens, the "Apply" button is already awaiting press opening, which is strange because no changes have been made to the settings but that should apply. When I try and change the 'Adobe PDF output folder' to record in, the 'Apply' button will sometimes gray and I can't tap it, other times it is clickable but does nothing (I go back in these settings and they have changed back to their default values after clicking 'Apply').
I'm having this problem on 2 machines running Windows 7 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
All attempted to bugs, all unsuccessful:
-Updated Adobe Acrobat
-Removed and manually added Adobe PDF Printer Windows "devices and printers".
And one of the machines has a new installation of Acrobat 9 Pro, completely intact/unchanged and he immediately had the problem. I have several other machines with the same configuration (Win 7, Acrobat 9 Pro) and they all do not have this problem.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Dave
Okay, found the question so I thought I would post it here in case someone runs into it in the future.
It was a registry permissions problem. The user has not been permissioned to change the registry entry located at HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Adobe\Acrobat Distiller\9.0\AdobePDFOutputFolder.
To FIX: Go to start--> type "regedit" in the search to access the registry editor and right-click on the HKLM\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\ folder, select 'permissions', search/add your username to the list of permits to users, ensure you are permissioned for "Total control" by checking the box under 'allow', click OK and you should be all set.

I moved my Dreamweaver 8 for a Win 7 machine and after installing the update to 8.02 FTP, user, and password parameters, are not to be registered. I tried the regedit alterations with no joy. Something new for Win 7?
Kirk
Nancy,
I assume you work for Adobe. If not my apologies.
For later use, you can use this information
http://graphiclineweb.WordPress.com/2013/05/22/Dreamweaver-8-Windows-7-64/
It refers to an Adobe file that corrects this problem I had on Win 7. Now, it works very well and keeps the FTP information.
Seems to me that I I was inspired to buy a new product, which I can't afford, rather than solve the problem which, appears, has been treated in the past. Not something I appreciate.
Take care.

Flash CC Air icons not saving settings do not
Hi all
I have problems with the icons of AIR controls, they don't seem to be registering the information once I loaded the icons. When I do an export "Application with runtime embarked" unless I immediately publish the tab icons, the icons are missing. I also noticed that its not writing to the xml file.
I have tried to remove the xml code and starting from scratch but have the same problem.
I have a "AppIconsForPublish" folder that I added manually as a sub folder that stores the icons. Tried to add this location and external location where the icons are moved to this folder but no luck.
I've been editing xml manually with Notepad ++, this would be a problem...
This happens only in the last few days, I've recently upgraded to CC of latest Flash.
Thanks in advance...
Same thing started happening to me today, the app.xml icon section is constantly cleared (after being edited manually) whenever I go to the icon tab and select a new icon. The new register icon in flash but not in the xml file, and as soon as I leave the icon tab and return nothing is there. The only solution is to change the file app.xml manually, adding section of the icon:
AppIconsForPublish/icon16.png ...AND lock the file (read-only brand).

The mouse settings not saved after reboot/restart
I'm changing the speed at which my mouse pointer moves on the screen. I'm doing a 'demand' the change, and then click on 'ok '. The point of the mouse moves faster in the game. Then after reboot/restart the computer, the mouse setting is default slower movement speed. The changes are not saved after reboot. What keeps the change of speed of movement of the mouse to be saved?
Mr. Brian,
Please, try the following steps. This should allow you to keep all the settings in the SetPoint software at the same time to solve your problem.
1. click on the Start ORB, type msconfig in the Search box and hit Enter
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
2. in the System Configuration dialog box, click the Startup tab
3. Locate the entries called KHALMNPR or similar and uncheck the box next to them (there may only be a)
4. click OK and restart your computer
5. after reboot, change the speed of your mouse pointer and restartThis should solve your problem. Please let us know. Thank you.

Note: The settings for this page are automatically saved in the Web browser cookies.
I have a printer of C311a e-all-in-one HP Photosmart 7510. When you look at the section of customizing built-in browser page printers, at the bottom of the installation of the list can be found this message:
Note: The settings for this page are automatically saved in the Web browser cookies. If the Web browser cookies are deleted, these settings are lost.
I would like to the file name for this cookie and can then ensure that this cookie is excluded from cleaning in the various tools that I could use for basic maintenance. Thank you.
I suspect that you gave me perfectly fine information. However, given that this cookie file is not on my machine, determine why would come next.
In fact, given the costs associated with this effort, profit generated over the lost time and possible third party website access to this particular cookie. all dictate that I have overcome this effort - for now. I don't respect the time you have invested in answering my question, placing me in your debt in at least a couple of beers. I want to thank you for the information provided.

Emails sent via Thunderbird are not saved on the e-mail server.
I have a critical problem with the backup of the emails I sent to Thunderbird.
The application works very well, that everyone sent mail is correctly saved in the folder "sent" located in the e-mail account of TB.
The problem is that messages are not saved on the mail server associated with (in this case, pop.mail.yahoo.com), so whenever I have to reinstall the software, I lose all my outgoing emails. If I access my email on yahoo.com account and email from there, it is regularly saved in the sent folder there.I would be grateful if someone could
(i) say me if it is a known problem, and if there is a way to remedy through Thunberdird server or Composition settings.
(ii) if there is a way around the problem by saving the file 'sent' located in the Thunderbird mail folder on my HARD drive. Is it possible, after the reinstallation of the application, to paste the file sent to the Mail folder? And I want to save the "Sent.msf" file as well?Thank you much for the help.
LThe problem is that messages are not saved on the mail server associated with (in this case, pop.mail.yahoo.com),.
With a POP account, this is the expected behavior. Only the Inbox folder is visible on the server, all the other files are the.
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/glossary-terms-including-types-accounts#w_popTo access the other folders on the server, for example your sent folder, you need to configure your account as an IMAP account.
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/glossary-terms-including-types-accounts#w_imapso whenever I have to reinstall the software, I lose all my outgoing emails.
You should not need to reinstall the software in the first place. And even if you do you will not lose any position, unless you deliberately remove your Thunderbird profile.
With pop, all mail is local to your computer, including the "sent" folder.
http://KB.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_ThunderbirdIf there is a way around the problem by saving the file 'sent' located in the Thunderbird mail folder on my HARD drive.
In fact, you must back up the entire profile.
_ http://KB.mozillazine.org/Thunderbird: _FAQs_:_Backing_Up_and_RestoringIs it possible, after the reinstallation of the application, to paste the file sent to the Mail folder?
As said before, nothing is lost when reinstalling the application. If you want to move to a new computer by simply moving the profile.
http://KB.mozillazine.org/Move_to_a_new_PCdo I have to save the "Sent.msf" file as well?
If you want to backup files individual mail, you don't need to save the *.msf files. They are just the index files and contain no mail. They are rebuild automatically when you start Thunderbird.
In any case, to save the entire profile is the recommended method.
