  I have a system dual-bootable Windows Vista SP2 and Firefox updated to 28 on both systems. Since the update of the tabs more reopen empty with the label "New tab" and "topic: vacuum" in the address line of Firefox is restarted.   It's actually a compiled response someone put in place and I would attribute it - but I forgot where I copied it... such is the "internets"...

  At any rate, this describes your situation. It shows where the key is to Office and Windows and how to tell the difference. You don't mention which key you were talking about, so it covers all the basics:

  "1. you just installed Office in a retail box you just bought?  If Yes, go to control panel, programs and features programs and see if there is another copy of Office installed in addition to the suite that you have just installed.  Some pre-installed trial Office 2007 suites may conflict with the product key validation process.  If you see a copy of Office installed, then uninstall it and try to run your new new Office program.  Chances are that your product key now works.
  2. If you use the 25-digit product key that you found on a sticker on the bottom of your laptop or on the back of your desktop, then you are using the wrong key.  This key is the product key for the Windows operating system and NOT for the Office Suite.  The correct product key for the Office suite will be in one of these places:
  a. within the Cabinet Office 2007 (if you purchased Office in a retail store)
  b. inside an e-mail on the site online where you purchased Office
  c outside of the CD, on a sticker

• CS5 - label Wrap around a cylinder (as the label of wine or pop can)

  In Photoshop CS3 and earlier, taking a layer, such as a label of a bottle of wine or a jar, wrapping around a cylinder 3D and compositing of a picture (of the real jar or bottle) was almost trivially easy.

  Unfortunately, with the 3D tools made available in CS4 +, the simplicity of the scarf > cylinder option seems to have been lost.

  Wrapping a complex texture around a cylinder (full coverage, up and down) is possible, but what about a packaging label (especially one that has a cut that is to say: not a full coverage)?

  A few quick searches have surprisingly turned up no tutorials on the subject. What was once a simple technique became so technical and obscure?

  Can someone point me to a tutorial (video or written), or provide a list of steps here on this forum?

  Sketch for this exercise is to generate a 3D cylinder, creating illustrations to wrap around the cylinder, duplicate, then modify this work to be used as a mask and then reorganize the 3D on a composite element together.

  Then the basic steps, I used to do this:

  (1) new 1024px x 512px, RGB doc/white background.

  (2) 3D > new mesh from grayscale > cylinder.

  (3) window > 3D. Choose the material 'Background '.

  (4) in the bottom of the 3D Panel, select the texture of contextual opacity and choose 'Remove Texture' (you will add back to step 10).

  (5) in the same box, select texture broadcasts pop up and choose "OpenTexture"... »

  (6) here's where you add the label icon you want to bend around the cylinder. I used a layer style of text layer w/race for this example.

  (7) when you work as you want, layer > duplicate layer to a new file.  This new file will be used for the texture of opacity that masks the area of the label to give you irregular shapes (ie. cut).

  (8) to select all the pixels in the layer and edit them to white, and then on a new layer under black fill. It's your new card of the opacity. Save it in a working directory for use in the next step, and close the file. Also, save and close the file of the work of stage 5/6 (it is stored as a smart object in the original of the stage 1 file)

  (10) back with the original file from step 1 (with the selected 3D layer) in the bottom of the 3D Panel, select the texture of contextual opacity and choose "Load Texture... ». Go to the texture of opacity to step 8 and choose 'open '.

  (11) you should now see just your dress-up work of label in a cylindrical shape. You can use the tool rotation of the 3D camera to visualize the different angles.

  (12) now bring your jar for compositing image. Where is manipulating the 3D layer to align the scale and perspective can get complicated. I try to use the tools of camera 3D for this work (with the object overall scaling an exception). I also use the "Illustration" rendered preset Shaded to help visualize.

  This new tab button should appear immediately to the right of the last tab.

  You can try to use the restore default set in the window customize to see if brings back this button in the default location.

  I am trying to flush out my script code - and one of the functions I did auto pulls the focus of controls recently interrupted/indicators LABEL on the FP - I want to be able to select the text of the label - and I thought it was possible with VI Server Label.Selection.  I use another VI to take Ref VI of VI I am tracking to get the last control on the PC using the script to browse function - that part works fine.

  Label.Selection does not work, even when I set immediately KeyFocus = TRUE before the Label.Selection property.  I even inserted a frame VIFrontPanel.IsForemost is TRUE for the target VI before asking the KeyFocus for control...

  I checked that the target VI is slowed DOWN by reading the State of the VI.

  OBJECTIVE: I try to imitate the selection of the entire label that happens when you drop a new control.

  Any idea would be appreciated.  I've posted on the Board of Scripting - but do not get any response.

  On my Windows machine I would probably use a little trick of mouse function using user32.dll.

  Here, I simply select the first control, place the cursor in the center of the label and the false double click.  Then I move the cursor to the lower right.

  

• Update the text of the label on a XControl via a property

  Hi all

  I write various programs to help with the debugging of embedded systems. I often need to convert a value to byte into pieces and then show which of these bits are true/false. This is easily done by using the convert-bool-Bay VI. However, I would like to create a control that will allow me to display a name for each field of bits - a bit like the way records are described in the data sheets. The control must be a bunch of buttons, and then I can show the bits are true/false, and use the label of the button to hold the name of bit field.

  I went from one way to the creation of this feature in an XControl as this seemed the best. My group of updates to Boolean values correctly according to the value of byte brought into control. However, I use a property to set the Boolean control label text (names of bit fields). My debugging shows that the text is assigned to the label of the control, but the control panel never changes. I tried synchronous updates, and by forcing a new drawing of the Panel using DeferPanelUpdates does not.

  I would be grateful for any help on this - VI and XControl demonstrating the issue is attached.

• Retrieve the label of a cluster in a global variable

  Hi guys!

  In my application I was using a bunch of Boolean values for the different types of errors that I could have in my Subvi.

  It was not really practical manage all of these clusters, so I decided to create a world.

  Now the problem is I can't extract the labels and values of this cluster. Before I spent as the thesis reference values, but I think there is no way to create a reference directly from my global variable (cluster).

  As you can see in this printscreen so I created a new table indicator in my VI. But if I add a new Boolean value into my global cluster, I need to create the cluster once again and it is not really practical.

  The goal is to list the errors in a string only if the value is true.

  I don't know if I'm clear, otherwise I can explain more.

  Here's the funny part. If I get a subdirectory as C:\AMD I once more of the available options. So why is the root of C from the creation of new files, so that I can still make new files in its subdirectories?...

  I merged a Reg file, I downloaded Vistax64 Web site in my Windows registry that is supposed to add this option to the system. It does not solve the problem. Apparently, a lot of Vista users have had problems with several of the missing options in the new context menu, or persist them. I've been using Vista before SP1 came out and have never seen this problem before. Although in my case, it is not totally absent! It's more like a partial problem. Both, I have and I do not have! Why?... What's wrong?

  Hi Samir,

  This is part of a safety device in Windows 7 to avoid elements, shortcuts to be registered directly on the system drive (c :) drive). This is why you are able to see the other new features in the other drive letters independent of the system. If you see the root folder, it still contains a minimum files that are installed by the operating system.

  If you still want to create shortcuts in the root of the drive, you can create them on the desktop and paste it into the root of the drive. However, we suggest you not to do.

  I also see that you are using some registry fixes, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly.

  If your contact is logged on as administrator, then he or she can create a new user account. If you don't want someone else to create a new user account, you can then create a standard account for them, in this way, they will not have the privilege to create a new user account.
