There is an important question: If during the Xperia Z2 charge in the docking station (with closed cards) I accidentally pour water on it, what consequences will have?

  • Apple Watch waterproof to the water

I must do something before I want to go swim with my series 2 Watch? Lock it?

To complete your workout and to evacuate all the water:

    • Turn the digital Crown, which opens the screen and erases all the water inside of the watch (it can make a sound).

If you plan to get your Apple Watch series 2 wet in other circumstances that when training of swimming - as to the course of General wear in a pool - you can manually lock the screen first and then drain the water from the speaker subsequently:

    • Slide up from the bottom of the face of the watch to open Control Center > tap water from lock to lock the screen.

    • The lock can also be unexpected water activated and unlocked immediately after exposure to the water.

After bathing, make sure to clean your Apple Watch series 2 by rinsing them with hot water from the tap. Watch and the band should be dried with a non abrasive and non fluffy cloth.

Strips of leather and stainless steel (Milanese Loop and Bracelet links) are not water resistant, so should not be worn when swimming.

Everything seems to work perfectly except my sim card! When I removed the sim card holder, there was a slight moisture. Liquid contact sticker is too red

    Ive tried

    • using pieces of toilet paper and dragging inside the slot for sim card
    • set folds a bit but im know not if it won't corrode it

Should I let him and pray that something happens? Should I go to the apple store and just be treated as * by the genius/brain/stuck up bar said I have to buy a new one? Or what?

  • [URGENT!] I can't access my iPhone 5 because of water damage!

Hello, guys. HM, the story of how this happened is quite simple, I have obviously dropped my phone in the filled bathtub (whose water happened to contain bathbombs, foam, and other products). I pulled it out immediately and it worked perfectly fine, but the water display under which had left some unpleasant spots white and gray. I left my phone in the day rice overnight. I woke up for not much of a change, only a few pixels were dry air inside the huge waste of water. so, I decided several things, like rebooting, drying with AC, with a hair dryer, with a small pump I use to clean my DSLR lenses and nothing has worked, BUT my frozen screen. I can't type in any way to get a reaction and some scratches appear but fade quickly. I read that you have to reboot, so I did it, but now I can't access it because it asks for my password and I can't type. I really want to at least return it upward but iTunes or other software will not recognize it because it is locked. I don't really want to take it to the service. Any advice on how I can unlock unlock/dry/she? Ah, the buttons of my home and lock work perfectly well. Thank you!

You can not.  Your screen is obviously of water damaged and without screen tactile operation you really can't do anything with it until you have repaired or replaced.  No trouble reset or magic software is going to fix the damaged material.

You can't back up in iTunes now, there is no way to do it without functional touch screen.  If you had backups iCloud activated before that, then you should have a backup in place you will be able to restore from.  Yet once again, if you had not already activated your backup, there no way to do it now.

A backup is only useful if its done before a disaster occurs.  Once your material is damaged, your ability to implement damage control are limited or non-existent.

Take it to Apple for a free assessment of the damage and they can explain your options.  Most likely, an output device warranty replacement will be required.  And without a backup already in place, Yes, you go to floating content.

  • 6 IPhone water damage

I dropped my iphone in the toilet this morning, 6 works well except when answering a call, that I do not hear the person. My phone seems to think that his helmet in mode. Only way I can talk to the person, either placing it on the speaker by plugging real headphones into the phone. I had the phone in a bag of rice to absorb all the moisture inside. Just how long does it stay in the bag?

I'm afraid I have some bad news. You can try rice, but if so, you will need to leave it turned off for days or a week inside the bag. Nevertheless, even though she had to work for a while, iPhones are not very tolerant to water and internal corrosion will set in. May want a cheaper than buying a new, out of warranty replacement.

  • How to fix an iPhone 6 water damaged?

My iPhone 6 recently fell into the toilet clear-watered and I automatically took and cut the power, I then took down to the it Department in my college and had a technician shake all the water and remove my hard case to dry everywhere for me, but also to remove the SIM card. From there, I kept it out and about two hours later, obtained a bag of white rice to the kitchen of the College to put my i6, before putting it in my friend tried to turn it on and managed also, only the apple symbol pops up on the screen and it wouldn't really lights up, it is the latest sign that I saw him working. I went to repair an electronics store downtown, but the guy gave me a call recently and said all hope is lost for her. I am extremely disappointed by Apple at this time and I refuse to think that my iPhone 6 is burned because I saw many people fix on YouTube by soaked in alcohol, or something! I'm not sure what the seller of electronics, but I feel like I'm sure he didn't do much to revive. Please tell me that all hope is not lost, and how do I manage to fix it. I've been a very loyal customer to Apple and always highly recommend it to other people, but if my iPhone 6 is simply grilled on a 1 second fall-in with the toilet, I'll be sure to cut my short loyalty and express my very negative experience with others. The iPhone 6 is very expensive and should not have such abilities of poor water/water waterproof resistance of the water.

Blame you Apple to drop your phone in the water? Are you serious?

Even if the phone is quite expensive, it IS NOT impermeable to water, is not allowed to survive water damage. This is clearly stated everywhere where it is possible.

If you need a phone that is sustainable water, you should look for one of the specific models that have these capabilities and which are certified and tested to be waterproof to the water.

You can only hope for the best and maybe leave a feature request for Apple at the link.

  • Portege M700 - water in the screen

There is water in the screen.
According to me, because I was in open air and is returned inside and it was cold outside.

It is a solution that I can get rid of the water that it is inside the screen?

    That s is really bad.
I think that the screen needs to be replaced because I think there is no way to get water off screen.

Ask your local ASP for help. They can order and Exchange display.

  • 【IPhone Water Damage】: how long he survives after recover?

    Hello

A few days ago, I dropped my iphone in the toilet (about 1 second). I immediately picked up and turned off. Now, it's still buried inside a bag of rice. There is a risk that the iphone still works. But I've heard that once the water, it could become corrosive and ultimately, the iphone is going to die sooner or later.

I wonder anyone at - it a similar experience (iphone in water drop & and still working)? How long the iphone can survive after the accident?

    Thank you

    Randy.

    I use the 6SP, incidentally.

  • best way to dry iPhone6 thrown in water

This afternoon, my iPhone6 took a very quick plunge in the toilet.  It has a box and was inside an envelope from cardstock.  I retrieved it immediately removed the envelope and the case and dried outside carefully with paper towel.  I accidentally hit the power button and saw that he was still working.  I put to sleep then, but not the do not power off.  Then I put it in a bag of rice for the 4 hour trip home from my friend's House.  Once home, I turned it on. It seemed fine at first. I did a backup - took 2 minutes of finishing, the screen became fuzzy.  I disabled the power and went looking for solutions.  There seems to be no real agreement, however: let it out in the air? Vacuuming?  Put in front of a fan? Most sites say that the rice actually works.  I also read that even if she looks very good, after drying, it will probably die for good within 2 weeks.  Help?

The fact that you have saved is good - the recommendation is to leave rice for 5 to 7 days, but more likely water damage sensor has been triggered - you must make a decision as to if you want to wait for it (perhaps) work or take it to Apple to have bought a replacement

  • Flipp waterproof shell with water?

Yesterday I came home from work and had to walk home in the rain. It was raining heavily. When I was home, I saw my flip shell was wet. I put my phone and saw that there was water inside the shell. The phone is waterproof when the shell is on the right? But how could there be water in my phone? So the waterproof flipshell in water? And Yes, the hull was everywhere well closed.

I would also like to add that, as long as the case has been completely broken down (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BEayyMMOZKE). Then, the phone will be water resistant. It is possible that even with the case properly aligned on that water can get behind the back cover. This should not affect the phone or resistance to water. However, I would still recommend that you remove the back cover and dry the phone is off.

  • MacBook pro end 2013 15 inches spilled water

    Hello

My son has spread around a glass quarter of water on top of the keyboard. I immediately disconnected everything (food, mouse, external display, etc.).

I could not remove the battery because I don't have any tools to open the back cover. Paper towel under the laptop upside down and it was wet at first, but came clean after 2 hours.

After having put my laptop in the same position for 3 days, I started my MBP today and voila! It worked. Everything seems to work. All keys, load, battery, bluetooth, wifi, etc.

However, I am a little cautious person. I make sure that the mac will remain as reliable than it was before. Unfortunately, there is no Apple store in Pakistan and these local sales shop with "of certified technicians" are charging $ 2100 without initial diagnosis even.

Is this what can I do to ensure that my mac remains healthy? I heard a lot of corrosion. I need to disassemble and clean all parts of my laptop?

Or if I open just the back cover, look at something to have a clue where the humidity was detected (some sensors inside?)

I thought to overload the machine to increase the temperature and evaporate more quickly if something remaining.

    Any suggestion?

    Thank you

You did things by stopping, unplug the AC power and turning backwards. Leave for a few days also help your chances, and the fact that it was just water and no not something like pop is in your favor. The water will dry after a time, but as to the time, it will corrode, something is hard to say.  If all the water is there very long if may cause some. The only way to be sure would be to consider everythink apart and clean. Even with a tutorial to take part, it is not easy.  I remember a few years ago, our cat knocked over a 1/2 glass of water on my Mac laptop computer older woman and we did the same things as you. He always ran three years later, when we sold it.
