Wavy jagged singal of 9237 at no load condition

Dear forum users and employees of OR,.

I would be grateful to you if you can solve my problem. My specimen is a simple piece of plastic 1 0.25 inch rectangular cross section with a length of 8 inches. I'm trying to measure the deformation (with the help of use general TML, Japan 1 mm gage length extensometer) in the sample by hanging dead in the sample weights. I am able to strain using the cDAQ 9178 chassis, NI 9237 module with accessory NI 9944 quarter bridge. For a given weight (so the applied load becomes a static), signal (output voltage) must remain constant independent of time. In addition, I also expect that when no load is present on the sample, the acquisition system data above should show constant, but the deformation of almost zero output over time. What is my problem only after offset removal and shunt calibrated correctly with the help of the wizard of LABView DAQ, the above data acquisition system shows a strain of output wavy stair of significant variation between maximum and minimum, even when the sample is at no load condition (the sample is simply placed on the table). In addition, even after loading the sample with a certain amount of dead weight, rather than get a constant signal, I always get a strain of output wavy stair (with more scale position zero load) over time. Please help me get a constant output signal for the data acquisition system above with and without load on the sample.

Thanking you

KSRKM

    Hello, YTC,.

    The problem is most likely in your external connections of the NI 9237 and the load cell.  As mentioned in NI 9237 Operating Instructions and specifications, page 9, SC + SC - pins must be connected to the terminals of the resistance specified in the .vi of Shunt calibration perform DAQmx (bridge) (in the case of a full bridge, it would be R3).

    Let me know if you still have problems with your calibration.

  • Drift of signal on SCC-SG24

    We have equipment OR measurements of charge 3 cell, it consists of a NOR-6220, SC-2345, SCC-SG24 (2) and (2) SCC-LP02. During a recent calibration system, I noticed that all channels showed considerable drift when the load cells were out load condition (and probably under load as well but I didn't not test to check). For example, a cell of weighing capacity of 25,000 pounds was a no load measure 142 pounds and an hour and forty minutes later, it measures 56 pounds. The degree of drift seems to be linked to the section how long the computer containing the material was turned on, but continues well beyond the long warm-up period specified in the material master records. in the previous example, the load cell was measured after an hour and a half additional 25 pounds. I ran a test using a simulator and has seen the same drift, it must ensure the material and not the load cells causing the drift. I also have one of the load cells connected to different materials (cDAQ-9178 and NOR-9237) and have not seen the same degree of drift.

    Basically, after warming of the system for 4 hours stabilized enough steps to make all without consequence drift continues for the duration of the test. This amount of warming seems excessive in relation to the other material OR that we have. Should I be worried? Others know about this?

    Thank you for contributing to knowledge or information on the question, as I am experiencing.
    Tessa

    I was finally able to remove the drift by removing the low pass filter of the installation. Appearently the SG24 and LP02 don't play well together.

  • 5V power supply seems to have failed on PCI-6221

    I recently had a test set-up down, and it seems that this could be linked to the + 5v supply.

    When I connect 5v to the unit via an external power supply Board, the Board draws 50ma, far as the 1A, according to me, the PCI-6221 power is specified as being able to provide.  When I connect the camera Board to the PCI-6221 via cable, only 0.67v are measured on the map.  However, when the cable is not connected to the card of the unit, I measure 4.5V on the power supply 5v card PCI-6221.

    I couldn't find a standard of accuracy for the power supply of 5v, but I expected to be less than 0, 5V.  It seems that my PCI-6221 power can produce a voltage in open circuit, but decreases rapidly under a load condition, which seems that the jury didn't.

    Ideas?  Thanks in advance.

    Hi Scott,.

    Terminal on the 6221 5V is rail 5V PCI bus with some type of lighter, so the accuracy will depend on the computer's power. Would you be able to try this card in a machine that has a work data acquisition card? This would exclude any power problem on this computer. If this test fails, it is likely that there is a fuse and you will need to contact us as Josh mentioned for an RMA number.

  • Creation of the disk recovery Partition recovery disks or HARD.

    I hope that I get good advice from experts today.

    Is it possible to create a custom (mine) HARD drive recovery partition?

    Is it possible to create discs of recovery with all the updates and the installed program?

    Is it possible to update the recovery partition? (with whatever software and installed updates)

    For example, I have a laptop pre-installed with Win XP SP2 and I have upgraded to Win XP SP3 and for some reason any if I restore my laptop with the recovery discs or HDD recovery partition, the laptop will be restored to the factory loaded condition (this is XP SP2). Once again, I have to install all programs and install all updates (XP SP3). If we can create a custom recovery disks or custom recovery partition then we can very quickly restore the laptop easily to the last condition (condition at the time of the creation of the partition to restore or restore disks). It would be better if we can create the recovery partition as nothing else is needed other than the laptop for the recovery.

    Another option to achieve this is with Norton Ghost (or similar tool) but the problem is that we must always continue the Norton Ghost boot disk to start and recover the image. The compatibility problem with a model in particular must be checked. I installed Norton Ghost 9 on a laptop and the laptop turns off not with the shutdown command, and I have to turn off with the power button / stop. This problem was not to withdraw 9 of Norton Ghost. If we can create our own custom recovery partition, save us a lot of resources--time, money, broadband bandwidth and no tension of the installation of all new programs.

    Experts should Tips how to create the custom recovery partition and if this function is not available now experts should examine the possibility of updating the required HARD drive recovery partition.

    PRK,

    I assume you mean Windows 7 after having upgraded (since this is the forum for Windows 7).  Windows 7 has a disk Image feature that can do what you are looking for.  More information is here:

  • external document loadConditionSets

    Hallo forum,

    I'll import the saved ConditionalSets from an external model in the actual document. I am not able. So far, I have the following text:

    //Given a document "myDocument"...
    var myDocument = app.documents.item(0);

    //Load ConditionalSet's from external document
    myDocument.loadConditionSets(file("C:\TA_R02_PL_MASTER.indt"))

    Maybe someone can help me with the synthax? This code does not work very well.

    Thank you

    Thank you for your help Jarek.

    Now everything works fine!

    The complete code for work in InDesign CS5.5 is the following...

    Given a document "myDocument".

    myDocument var = app.documents.item (0);

    The external document load conditions

    myDocument.loadConditions(File("/C/TA_R02_PL_MASTER.indt"),true);

  • Help with modal Skillbuilders Page close button

    Hello

    I try to use Skillbuilders modal Page (which is an awesome plugin) to bring up a page apex to attach files. This part works fine. but when the user clicks Close button or icon X modal dialog that I want to return a value or change the text to a link on the parent window. I've read other discussions, but I'm not able to find a way to capture that close event and perform the dynamic action on the parent page before closing the window. Could someone through some light on this?

    Thanks in advance
    PG

    Create a dynamic action:

    Event: Manual close [SkillBuilders Page modal (2.0.0)]
    Selection type: DOM object
    DOM object: document
    Condition: - none -.
    Scope of the event: link

    With real action:

    Identification
    Action: Run the JavaScript Code
    Execution options
    Fire when the Page loads: not verified
    Code:

    if(this.data.modalPageCloseValue!=""){
    $(this.affectedElements[0]).val(this.data.modalPageCloseValue);
    };

    Items affected
    Selection type: item (s)
    Article (s): (select an item. My example js manages only 1 point).

    this.data.modalPageCloseValue is the returned value/object by providing the action close modal javascript/a value object.
    For example, to create a dynamic action on your modal page

    Event: Page load
    Condition: - none -.
    Scope of the event: link

    With real action:

    Identification
    Action: Run the JavaScript Code
    Execution options
    Fire when the Page loads: not verified
    Code:

    $(".modalclose_link").click(function(){
    parent.$(parent.document).apex_modal_page('close', "this here is a literal string that will be returned. You can provide a value or object here however.");
    });

    Items affected
    (none)

    Note here that '.modalclose_link' is a jquery selector, you will have to customize. However, it is just an example. You could take the actual function code and use it to tell a dynamic action of a button.

    If you want to see this 'work', you can modify the JavaScript "Manual Close" and change for it to have the alert back:

    if(this.data.modalPageCloseValue!=""){
    alert(this.data.modalPageCloseValue);
    };

    Hope that helps :)

  • Conditional text / Global

    I created my doc style source, conditional text (for a chapter number on the first page of each doc in my book file) which could be hidden when exported to ePub.

    It worked. Then I tried this hidden feature applied globally to all the docs.

    Then I synced all my book file docs, but the hidden conditional text feature did not carry over to the other docs. I can see the status in the conditional text panel in each doc, but it does not work.

    Condition properties are not defined in paragraph or character styles.

    To add an existing condition in a file, you can use the menu load Conditions drop down group conditional text and choose a file in which the condition already exists. OR, you can use find: , research: all the files in the book and Format change: in . If your target documents have a single paragraph or a character style applied number of chapter on the first page of each doc, you would specify find what: and the shape of the change to the .

    Then, to set show/hide the condition property in the target, in the Panel menu files book fly-out > Synchronization Options, choose other > conditional text settings and synchronize some or all of the files in the book with the designated Style Source file.

    IOW, Synchronize adds conditions that exist in the Source of Style file for the target files and sets the display/hide properties from the State to those of the source of style. Conditions that are already applied to the content in the target files will behave according to the settings show/hide that are synchronized in the target files.

  • insert/update

    Hello

    I have a dept_1 table in the source and the table dept_2 in the target.

    I made a mapping to the charge of dept_1 to dept_2.

    When the new records come in dept_1 the dept_2 should reflect that when I run the map (THIS has been achieved).

    Now, what are the properties should I put in dept_2 in the mapping, so that,
    If the column deptno in dept_1 changes an existing value with a new value (an update)... so this change should also be captured
    in the map the next time...

    There is no constraint on both... I put the load type insert/update the property...

    What more should I should I do to avoid the below error?

    What are the properties of the STATE of LOADING should I put?

    Rgds
    S

    Hello

    1. change of type INSERT to INSERT value loading by default/update.
    2. for lack of consideration for the operator, loading conditional/Match by constraint is all_constraints, if you have not, then change to NO_CONSTRAINT.
    3. for personal correspondence, click an attribute in the operator, in the loading properties group, you can set the column to Match when any new line of true and then set the load column when new line false. This will provide the match for the load criteria. You must have a column to match on.

    Hello

    I'm trying to use the example
    load_cell_null_off_shuntcal.VI with a scale of full-bridge (Honeywell
    Model 31, not amplified). I'm using LabView 8.6, cDAQ-9172 and NI9237. The
    load cell is connected to the pins 2,3,6 and 7.

    Entries for the front side of the VI
    are: excitation10V internal; mV/V 2.1492 (calibration sheet); weight max 10
    lbs; resistance bridge 350 ohms (Honeywell specifications); 9237 shunt internal
    100 kohm resistance; map of shunt R4 (default setting). I chose
    "Do not offset null" and "shunt cal.

    This is the error I get:

    Error-200077 occurred at DAQmx
    Do a calibration Shunt (bridge) .vi:1 or the possible reasons:

    Measurements: Requested value is not
    support for this property value.

    You asked:-61.980405e3

    Valid values begin with: 500.0e - 3

    Valid values ending with: 1.500000

    If the "shunt cal.
    green button is not selected, there is no error. I understand that the Gain
    Change value should be approximately 1, whereas I get is much larger. The Subvi DAQmx PerformShuntCalibration
    .VI (bridge) contains a "Call library function node" which I did not
    find out how interrogate.

    Someone else has experience
    with this error? Do you have any advice on:

    1)
    How to 'see' the calculations being
    carried out inside the "call library function node"?

    2)
    What the correct shunt element
    a full-bridge load cell location is? (although changing this location only)
    does not eliminate the error, I can't find this info).

    3)
    What can I do wrong with
    my entries to cause this error?

    Thank you

    Claire.

    Hi Claire,

    You must physically connect the SC of arm of the bridge terminals (normally R3). The terminal is not provided for the connection of external resistors.

    See the example

I also need to capture one or two seconds of data pre-trigger. My programming skills are at a level CLAD and I was wondering if a: this is possible (that I thing it runs a bunch of loops) B: or if someone has tried this with any success?

    Hi Matt,

    With the 9237, you will still be able to do a software analog trigger. There is a very good example here that you may find very useful.  The example was built for a 9233, but you can change the task at a voltage of strain/custom with exe task depending on your 9237.  I gave it a shot with a simulated device and it worked fine.  Let me know if you have any other questions after reviewing that.  Have a good!

It wasn't a problem in CS2. I stuck a picture below with just a simple form. The shape is smooth, the race is shredded.

    This picture below is a bit small, but you can see the difference in the race, the shoe of CS2 is smooth, CS5 mountain is jagged.

    I don't want to be argumentative, but the stroke layer style has not changed in the (poor) quality of what I see since the beginning of time.  This is something that adobe should really hard.

    Show the same part of the same image with the applications and you will see there is no perceptible difference between versions (I just did to be sure).

    A workaround trick, it's that you can use an external light to help the sweetness of the edge.  See also: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4564174#4564174

  • NI 9237 sampling rate

    Hi all

    I use a module 9237 for certain measures of the load. My experiences last over time and so I'm generating a lot of data due to the minimum sampling frequency.  I can't define an external time base so I can lower my sampling rate to something easier to manage?  Even just a sample rate of 500 s/s would make a huge difference.

    Thank you

    Hi cannisbellum,

    9237 specifications frequency range of minimum data (fs) using the internal master time base is 1,613 kech. / s and external use master timebase is 391 s/s. The simplest would be to sample at 2kS/s and decimate your data by 4. This can be done by using 'Decimate 1 table D' or ".vi Decimate (continuous).

    Rates valid for the NI 9233 OR 9234 sampling and NI 9237 - http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/593CC07F76B1405A862570DE005F6836?OpenDocument
