  I am working with a combustion chamber and using a system of data acquisition (with the hardware OR SCB - 68) to read the pressure in the cylinder (such as analog voltage). I'm trying a pulse delayed, 1 millisecond to 5 volts of output once the pressure in the cylinder is high above 5 bar (which corresponds to an analogue voltage of 0.25 V). I would also like to record 30 ms samples before the trigger and 220 ms samples after the outbreak. The following image shows visually what I'm talking about.

  I created a LabVIEW VI (which is attached), but I keep running into 2 issues:

  1. When I run with samples finished after a period of time, I get error-200281which I don't quite understand.
  
  
  2. Using the Express VI 'Out of time' to keep time for the pulse I can not get a resolution of 1 millisecond, the pulse is not generated when I put the window between 0.003 and 0.004 seconds for high pulse (i.e. the resolution of 'Elapsed Time' seems to be too coarse).

  I'm a beginner to LabVIEW sorry if my questions are trivial or my VI makes no sense, but I was stuck on this during more than a week. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  This isn't a good way to trigger a pulse.
  Use a trigger DAQmx to send the pulse when your acquired signal exceeds 250 mV you specified.

  You can access a single search engine but not another? Is one that you can access a regular site as https://www.google.com/ or https://www.yahoo.com/ or is this something custom that may have been installed by an add-on?

  I'm a total noob

  I designed a site with a viewer and 5 triggers.

  I made the empty boxes of triggers and superimposed on a grid of 5 photos.

  I also added txt to each trigger to define its rollover State normal is no fill / rollover and pushed is filled / assets is not filling.

  for some reason, the final trigger does not roll during the action for the text box. I think it's because it loads in the active state, but I can't be sure.

  You need to remove the text of a link to the url of the page, so that when the browser open it of page text block should not be active, which shows the normal state.

  Or the other of these commissions should work for you. You can configure one of the axes for engines step by step closed loop analog feedback and then put in place the other 2 axes as slaves to the first with a debt ratio of 1 to 1. This would cause all 3 of your axes to behave in the exact same way. This transmission is made on the card, and you should not see any negative impact on the axes update rates. The specified sampling rate should not be a problem either. The update of control loop period is definable in the adjustment of the loop tab, and for stepper motor axes, it determines how ofter the step generator is updated. The default for this value is 250 milliseconds. The 7340 user manual also lists the scanning speed of demultiplexer of analog input @ channel 25 microseconds / activated.

  So you would be actually sampling and update the engine generator step much faster than 100 Hz with analog feedback on axis controllers.

Entries: excitation10V internal; mV/V 2.1492 (calib. bin); weight 10 lbs max. resistance bridge 350 ohms (Honeywell specifications); 9237 internal shunt resistance 100 kohm; map of shunt R4 (default setting). Selected "offset null" and "shunt cal.

  The problem is most likely in your external connections of the NI 9237 and the load cell.  As mentioned in NI 9237 Operating Instructions and specifications, page 9, SC + SC - pins must be connected to the terminals of the resistance specified in the .vi of Shunt calibration perform DAQmx (bridge) (in the case of a full bridge, it would be R3).

  Let me know if you still have problems with your calibration.

  I have the measurement computing USB DAQ with Labview 8.6 1208FS (ULx using). Am I voltage to a load cell measurement and the need to put in place a range of alarm

  • Load cell by smallload and ramps then begins up to about 15 lbs
  • I would like a continuous display of the data on the chart
  • I need to know if the load went down 15.1 14.9 or overwhelmed below (via two separate front led remains lit if the charge was never out of reach)

  My understanding is that I need some kind of trigger to make the alarm go off like the ramps of load cell up to past 14.9 lbs.

  Phil,

  Given that in a single iteration is reading your data acquisition (read data) an array of values or a waveform, all arithmatic operation will be done on all these values and thus the output of a table or values. In your case you are looking for the trigger condition so I've been chnge the data in table 1 d (easier to treat) and look at the max value and then compare with the threshold so the value out would be an element and not the table of elements.

• Satellite L670 question load - pink battery led

  My laptop (Satellite L 670) often has a charging problem.

  First, the laptop runs normally, the power cord is connected and the battery correctly.
  That, however, the adapter is still plugged, all of a sudden the loading stops.

  At the same time two of the first three LEDs indicating the change:
  * Mode: adapter = white LED, power LED = white, battery LED = red-orange
  * Mode problem: adapter = white LED, power LED = no light, battery LED = Rose & flashing

  A few additional notes:

  -Sometimes when I go out to reconnect en loading adapter starts again, but sometimes it has no effect.
  -When the laptop is in sleep mode or stop charging happens without any problem.
  -If I remove the battery and the laptop works only on the adapter, there is no problem.
  -J' get the feeling that the workload problem often takes place when the fan starts or stops turning.

  I use the USB-6008 to measure a voltage of a Lithium battery, 3.66V.

  the battery come with a blocking diode (in series with the battery) of 1N5820, who have a fall of voltage drop of 0, 1V.

  battery with diodes in series (this is the way in which the battery is shipped with)

  -measure with DDM yield 3.66V without you connect to usb6008

  -measure with DDM yield connected to usb6008 (putting OUT VOLTAGE USB6008) 3.59V

  -able with USB-6008 performance 3.59V connected to usb6008

  battery with diode removed

  -measure with DDM yield 3.66V without you connect to usb6008

  -measure with DDM yield connected to usb6008 (putting OUT VOLTAGE USB6008) 3.66V

  Thus, it seems that the problem is in the led in the series.  This is why the battery voltage has fallen to 0.07V? the series diode will hurt the USB-6008?

  Maybe people who know the circuits inside the USB-6008 can give me an answer.

  The fall that you see is falling forward in the diode.  As an entry class device, the USB-6008 case has a relatively low input impedance (144kOhm) and thus draws a little current of the device.  Looking at the datasheet of the 1N5820 (http://www.onsemi.com/pub_link/Collateral/1N5820-D.PDF), Figure 7 shows that at 25 ° C, a draw of 50mA will cause a fall front of 200mV.  While the figure does not extend the curve below 50mA, extrapolating the given curve would indicate that a drop of 70mV would cause only a few current microamperes.

  A DMM will have a much greater input impedance (GOhms instead of kohm) and won't draw enough current to influence the measure, that's why you wouldn't see the decline with only the DMM.

  The diode will not harm the USB-6008 somehow.

• How can I convert a 3 mV/V to a load cell signal to something I can read using a field point AIO-600?

  I use an external powere supply 12V to supply voltage to the load cell, and I'm reading data using AIO-600. There is a separate module that can do this, but is it possible to do it with the current material?

  The lowest input for the AIO-600 range is 0 - 6V.  This means that you will have a resolution of 12 bits (11.3 effective) broadcast more than 6 volts.  I guess that your full scale signal max will be 36mV.  Without amplification, you will not have a very high quality signal.  It would be the best bet to amplify your output signal mV as close to the load as possible cell and then connect this signal amplified to your AIO-600.

  OK, so that's the second laptop that I got the same problem. My Presario CQ57 has Windows 7 as operating system. Recently, this thing started to have problems, instead of loading Windows 7, I can tell by his attempt to Vista loading screen instead. This was given to me, but I'm thinking it was bought to like Wal Mart and was sitting on the set with Windows Vista installed, while Windows 7 is out, their people up to level of these units and installed Windows 7. This computer worked fine for a couple of years now. Now when I fire, the only thing im getting is loading the files, and then a Flash suddenly to Vista loading. Anyone know how I can cope with this? the license is on the bottom and worn out or I just loaded a fresh windows 7, but its unreadable. Don't really want to buy a new license either. Any thoughts?
