WCS - model controller

Hello

I'm new on WCS lil... I upgraded my WCS now to 5.1.64... WCS has already a couple of controllers mapped with about 40 LWAPP...

I see an inconsistency in WLC - WCS configuration, on the model of controller... When I change the configuration of the model on the WCS, it updates the WLC somehow? I am cautious about is I don't want to disturb anything either with the WLC running is, by changing something on the WCS...

I have also 2 new controllers added to the WCS... I need to set controller models for these... Can I directly configure this and associate the new WLC to the new model? Yet once, model controller in WCS will apply to the new WLC?

Raj,

In this case, you can add new controllers to WCS with RO SNMP community strings. Then go to configure--> controllers and check the box next to one of the controller. From the controls menu select 'discover controller models. This will automatically create WCS models based on the configuration of the controller you selected. Follow the same process for all controllers.

You'd be using community RO, WCS strings would not involve no change. You will now be able to verify correctly.

Configure the controller HA without AP licenses?

Please give me the best way to configure the WLC HA in the Cisco model

    Hi Angel,

If you get a C1-AIR-CT5508-K9 , then you should not have licenses on the secondary unit (who you called unit HA). However if this is not the case then the usual requirement of license AP 50 County should hold to convert a secondary WLC. The number of licenses AP 50 can be registered license C1-WLC-1 pool.

Hope I was able to clear the confusion.

  • How to integrate model of custom device controller

    Hello

I now live a labview including 18 sub controller model, and I am trying to run this controller on RTOS VxWorks, through customized device model.

    1. when I tried to run a model simple controller (ex, a controller with 3 ~ 4 void / screw) on RTOS VxWorks, I just put simple controller in RT Driver.vi model, and then the build and deployment succeeded.

    2. then, I did it with my model of labview in the same way above controller, but I couldn't even build my model controller labview. I don't know why, but the build process stops at the initialization stage. I think that this problem will appear when there are more than 3 ~ 4 sub vis are added under the custom device project.

Any ways to use a model of controller labview instead of just put a model in RT Driver.vi?

Now, I managed to build my model labivew, I saw the light of the compactRIO blinked, which measn the connection is ok by CAN - Bus.

But it's still weird and not possible to build my model at a time. In addition, cannot again build the custom devcie just before successfully built after the addition of two functions simply.

In any case, the solution to my problem is as below.

For example, my cruise controller written in labview consists of 3 simulation systems arrive.

Each system to arrive includes several subsystems.

First, create the model after adding one of 3 major subsystems. (In this case, I never had errors in the construction of models of labview)

Secondly, if the first step is ok, add one of the other 2 systems come in the custom device and then build again.

Thirdly, add the remaining subsystem in the custom device and establish the entire model and deploy it to the target.

With three steps above, I can still build devices customized successfully.

  • Error message from WCS (static WEP)

    Hi all

We're migrating all the IOS AP to LWAP using WLC and WCS, we have several WLAN with a different set of security on IOS AP policy.

I am facing a problem in the creation of WLAN on WCS server, I create a static model with WEP key with 128-bit encryption, when I copy the existing key of IOS AP to the WCS model he throws pop tells us what and ' for the static WEP ASCII key size 128 bits, the key has ti be exactly 16 ascii characters. While the characters entered are 28 "

My question is what I have to change the key to search for characters exactly 16 or is it possible to change the WCS can accept the key.

I tried to create WLAN on WLC, but he says "128-bit WEP key size is not supported on 11xx, 12xx and 13xx model AP, WLAN will not be pushed to AP"

Outside installation we use AP 12XX series.

Please let me know if I can use static WEP on my wireless environment.

    Great!

I guess we can mark this as resolved post then

  • management of WCS, WLC and H-REAP AP1242

We have chosen to deploy 1 wlc2106(k9-7-0-98-0) and 4 or 5 APs 1242, LAP - AIR and AIR - AP converted to AIR TOURS in each office, with a backup 1 WLC5500, in seat.

We have WCS (v7.0) and in this architecture, 1242 APs will be always connected on 1 of 2 WLC (never in autonomous REAP).

In normal mode, WLAN, working in the central authentication and Central switch. In backup mode, WLAN work in central authentication (backup WLC headquarters) and local switching.

For the configuration of the WLC, is it really necessary to create and REAP H unit for all the Aps or can I leave by default-AP group?

I have a problem with AIR - AP converted it TURN: I can't push a TOUR from the WCS model:

AP0022.90.1b.9d36 is the converter of AIR - AP.

another AP are AIR - LAP: Ok for this model that apply

What can be the problem with this access point?

    Thanks for your help.

    Lorenzo

The best for homelessness must have WLC, authentication management. Now, if there is a WAN link rather slow in the game, perhaps, he retorted the initial advantage of it.

In this case REAP H groups will allow roaming between aps hreap seemless.

In any case, it does not hurt to combine your APs in Hreap groups. It can only help. So ... :-)

  • failure of the graphics controller envy14t-1000 flashes code?

For laptop of HP Envy 14-1000. i5 - 450 M, Radeon 5650 M. Out of warranty. New installation of Windows 8 Professional on an OCZ Agility SSD 4.

At startup, caps lock flashes code indicates a failure of the graphics controller. Stays on for 2-5 minutes, but will then start Windows. This indicates imminent failure and a replacement motherboard is necessary, or is it the result of something else?

On your laptop, there are several codes of different flashing given by a flashing caps lock key. You say that it is the graphical model controller failure error light. Use this document to make sure it is the correct error code.

The ENVY of laptops series have their GPU soldered onto the motherboard. So if you've got a controller failure graphics card you might have to replace the entire motherboard of the laptop. This interview is possible to do it yourself, although difficult. Even if you specify your product is out of warranty, I suggest to contact HP Technical Support again and look in an interview of the laptop. If you are in the USA / Canada, you can contact HP at 1-800-474-6836. If you are outside the United States / Canada then here try to find contact information for your region.

Can you please send full model of your laptop (C70-A-xxx) name?
I assume that not all models of C70 - A BT module.

In any case, I assume that you got your machine with pre-installed Win8 and with the original version of OS THAT BT has worked properly. Can you confirm this?
Have you noticed BT problems after update to Win8.1?

Usually, when you turn on WIFI, BT module must be enabled also so please check the Device Manager after enabling WLAN antenna.

  • Install Windows 7 on a Compaq Presario CG61 - driver for HARD drive

    Hello everyone,

because of my Compaq Presario CQ61-423SG HARD drive (series: edited by moderator) broke (and with it the recovery partition), I would like to install a new Windows 7 (home premium, 64-bit) on the new HARD drive.

Initially the program is in need of a driver for the HARD disk installation. On the HP site, I can't find. Can someone help me? Where can I get a driver for my laptop?

    Thank you.

    Hello:

I am very surprised that Windows 7 requires a driver disk for the model controller.

In any case, I compressed upwards and tied the drivers you need (look under the line attachments at the bottom of my post).

Now, here's what you have to do...

Extract the files to a flash usb without all the folders drive.

With the flash player and the installation of W7 media connected to the computer, boot from the installation of W7 media.

After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.

You should now see the storage driver files listed.

If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.

Follow the prompts and should install W7.

When the application starts, the Main.java creates the debugger, static search, view model controller and Summoner of command. The model creates all the objects in its packaging (modellocaldata, etc.) the command invoker creates the command Scheduler, etc. etc.

The main and then creates a new command object, Cmd_startupLoad and tells the Summoner to execute it. The Summoner adds to the Scheduler which then calls the commands execute method.

The cmd_startupload creates several command objects that preform actions such as saving tools (views) in the register of the tool, and then finally a cmd_loadview is called with the parameter of view_login. This command displays the login screen. It does this by calling into the view that calls tableautiers content requiring builders of the display.

Is anyone elses code oriented and complex object? Or I'm completely my design work?

As long as you have defined for each category of packets it seems good.

A few other changes were necessary to 6.0.  I removed titleView.setTabBackground (Field.VISUAL_STATE_FOCUS, bg); andtitleView.setBackground (Field.VISUAL_STATE_FOCUS, bg); and changed the way the labels have been added.

Rather than use a focusable LabelField, do the lbl1 and lbl2 LabelFields not focusable and create a NullField focusable.  Add the two of them to a HorizontalFieldManager and also use the label to your component.

This allows the screenshot I attached (using the same Simulator with which you test).

  • Help! How to plan the small/medium business

    Hello

I have the basic configuration is already done (staticly)

Since the system (WCS) wireless controller, I can see the controller and the lwapp.

We plan to add more APs in places diffrenet and control each device.

in any case, now after the basic configuration what should I do?

Add aps more? or download the plan or safety?

Can you please give me an advice how to plan a small / medium business building of 3 floors

    BR

I don't know how you have failed, but once you get the WLC and AP, test and make sure that it meets your requirements.  You don't need WCS right now.  Do all SSID, security stuff and try it again.  When you have this job, then you can move you.  Once you have a stable environment, then go ahead and add AP and ensure again that you have signal where you need signal and that everything works.  After that, then go ahead and add the floor plan for WC and access point to the map.  WCS is for management and does not need to be in place so that your wireless network is working.  I hope this helps.
