We can block safely 4.2.2.1, 4.2.2.2, & c... 8.8.8.8

I use Little Snitch that shows Firefox allowing connections to addresses IP 8 that, for not seeing a reason, I blocked in LS. However, LS allows about 10% of these connections, so I have the police and disconnect. On the net, I found that these IPS belong to Level3 Communications, which has a bad reputation among some. I contacted the people of Little Snitch who advised I was mistaken & the real owner is google (not really an answer to why their program let, even after that I blocked). But here's the thing - I use ONLY google for e-mail; I won't put my computer available to them for something else. SO should I continue my campaign of blocking, or let through eight IPs. My concern is the security and privacy.

Thank you

Goldenthal

When I right click on an image on Ebay.be, I can't safely on my PC. This does not work when I connect on Ebay.de but not on ebay.be.

In both cases, the actual image is covered by a container div Firefox will prevent the display of the image context menu.

You can see if you open the Inspector and locate the container DIV above it (div id = "vv4-0_idiv" class = "ic - m" in the pop-up and div class = 'ic-w300 ic-cntr' in the second screenshot).

Note that you can always save such an image via Tools > Page Info > Media or in the pop-up window via the right-click context menu "Page info all" and go to the Media tab.

  • Satellite M200 - can I safely delete partition?

    I have a Satellite M200.
It came with 3 partitions on the hard drive: a recovery partition 1.46 GB, NTFS Vista 142.51 partition and partition 5,07 GB hidden with God - knows - what.

Can I safely remove the 5,07 GB partition?

    Hello

I think that it is a Canadian cell phone model because I do not see this partition on European models for Toshiba laptop.

However, it seems that you have found the answer to your question.
It seems that the second hidden partition has been created to store the data of the second language, which is available on the portable Toshiba bilingual model, which comes preinstalled with two additional partitions that hold images of English and French language.

I think you can remove this partition, if you have already chosen your preferred language.

I also found this FAQ from Toshiba:

  • Can I safely delete the D partition on the HARD drive?

Second question: my laptop came with the HD in two partitions, C and d is there a purpose for this and I can easily (safely) delete the D partition?

You can do what you want and you can create a partition but HARD DISK with two partitions has since. All important data, you can save the second one (D). If something is wrong with the operating system you can install it at any time on the partition c. on this way, all your data will still be there.

The delivered use recovery media, you can use the configuration option and select installation on already created the C partition.

I recommend you leave him with two partitions.

  • You can block my imei. my phone was stolen

    Help me pleaseeee

Only your provider can block your phone using the number IMEI - not all able or willing to do that, but one wonders. It is not something that Apple can do.

I assume that your question, you have not "find my iPhone" together towards the top on this subject? -with which you can activate lock the phone and possibly locate it (although you should not attempt to recover yourself).

  • Can I safely recharge my Iphone 4S with a 1. 5A charger?

I have a Sony laptop charger, and on the manual it says "output 5V, 1. 5 a (Max)"and on my iPhone 4S adapter, it says that the output is 5V, 1A.

So, can use the potable charger safely, or I need an additional adapter?

    Which means that "max"?

You can load safely from your phone with a 100 amp charger, as long as the voltage is 5V. The phone controls how current it draws, regardless of how much is available.

  • can I safely delete "unused desktop shortcuts" from my office?

my computer is slow, and I'm trying to remove as much junk I can of my C drive, as it got very crowded.  something appeared on my desktop-"unused desktop shortcuts" and it has more than 1,900 items.  can I safely remove this?  I have windows XP home - I'm not very techno

The folder with unused desktop shortcuts is generally created and filled during the execution of the Integrated Desktop Cleanup Wizard. 1900 shortcuts does not seem to be a bit excessive, but if you had the time close to machine, and the cleanup utility was run regularly so I guess it's possible to have accumulated that much over time.

You must be sure to remove the folder, although it won't make a difference to the functioning of your PC. Reasons for a slow running machine are usuallyeither that there is too much background running processes, or you have been infected by some kind of Malware.

    I hope this helps.

  • Can I safely remove the Windows.old files?

What's up guys?, I have a Compaq Presario supplied with the Windows Vista operating system, 32-bit. I backed up all my drivers on DVD and I downloaded a clean copy of Vista using an ISO on a DVD burner. I reinstalled the new copy put in my original product key, and he agreed. I reinstalled my drivers and all seems to work fine. I transferred all my data, mp3, jpeg, etc. for Flash readers and/or new programs on the new OS. The reason for the new OS was a virus infection which partially damaged the registry.  I really want to keep these files in the system for obvious reasons. Can I safely delete the files "Windows.old" and what would be the best way to do it?

My hard drive is currently filled by PC DM files in my folder/Public user folder.  How can I safely remove the right files in this folder?  Vista Home Premium 64 bit is my os.

    Hi templar_39,

DM (Message Delivery) file types are not Windows files, they can be generated by a third-party program.

This particular file type is often associated with audio data and can be hosted on some cell phones to be used as ringtones or multimedia clips. To my knowledge, these files can be generated by your mobile phone.

Note: you can go ahead and remove these files only if you notice that the files do not contain any important information.

If this happens without connect you all devices (like mobile PHONES), this may be a virus or malware activity. You can run a virus scan to get rid of them

Step 1: A scanner online for any threat and try to correct
