• Report Builder 1.0 will not connect to the data source for Reporting SERVICES

  We have a few users who are unable to connect to SSRS on SQL Server 2008 using the Report Builder version 1.0

  (We will be updating soon, but it's a slow process, and now users have questions)

  Instead of disputed for their IDs, they are requested to select a data source.  This information is supposed to be filled automatically when the user starts the Reporting SERVICES report designer.

  Does anyone know where/how SSRS communicates information to start the application with one click Report Builder, and where, if anywhere, it stores?

• Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 prints only the data source for HP 6700 not complete document

  I can get a printed message from my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 to my HP 6700 tablet, but... If I try to print, for example a recipe from foodnetwork I can't get a message printed in the 6700 which gives me the source of the Web page, not the recipe for the competition.  I can print from my iPhone just fine using the @hpeprint e-mail address.  I downloaded the app store Eprint and it works, the problem is that I'm just this gibberish.  Can you help me?

  I think that the way android 'sharing' web pages is just giving the url to the Web site. If you had to share this link with a handles specifically, html app like google chrome, it would launch the site. This makes things much faster when you share only a link and not all the data on the page.

  How works the ePrint application is it actually makes the Web page using HP servers in to a PDF and then send it to the printer. That's why it prints without any problems from there.

  On the new phone from Samsung, the Galaxy S4, it built in the printing of some of the applications by default for HP printers, but it doesn't look like this is available on this unit.

• ColdFusion data source for jqGrid

  I use jqGrid for my application and found the example of jQuery for first grid like this web site.

  jqGrid wait url to GET data of code on the server side and is of XML data type.

  As I mentioned earlier, you may need to specify the header when you return JSON SWC.

  I failed the test, but you can try. Also make sure your JSON is well-formed.

• 11g - why is it not add processes for multiple roles in new data sources?

  Anyone want to guess why Oracle chose to add roles both in the allocation of privileges to new data sources? If I have 40 different roles and add a new data source, I have to manually add this data source for each role, one at a time, 40 times. Horribly inefficient. Why?

  When you change the new data source (click on the data source), you have the option: "Move All" available to 'Authorized roles' roles under the security heading. Have you looked at this option? (Admin - Data Sources) and not passing is not by Admin-> roles and permissions...

  Yes, HFM is a source of support for OBIEE (OBIEE 11 g only, on 10 it was did not support).

  OBIEE uses SMA driver to get the structure of metadata of HFM, take a look at a few additional parameters: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28280_01/bi.1111/e10540/datasource.htm#BIEMG1366

  The Excel need to have data in the file itself, it will only run a refresh of smartview / recover when OBIEE needs to get data, so in the end, it's just a static file Excel and someone need to refresh the Excel when required.

  You want to run the B2BCommerce module? If so, then you must run the $dynamo_home /... / B2BCommerce/SQL/db_components/MySQL/b2b_user_ddl. SQL ddl because you are missing the B2BCommerce tables. If this isn't the case, you will have to redo without the B2BCommerce module.

• Planning application data source.

  Hello

  I have worked on planning for 2 years and never stumbled on this problem or questions. I created a single planning data source and installed a smaple application now, I want to create a new application of my own and try to use the same data source I used for the sample application, but its does not give me an option.

  Is it because you have to have a unique data source for each planning application? can I create several data source using the same schema details? I spent by the Administrator's guide, but has failed to find any information regarding my questions.

  Answer is no, you can not use the same source of data because the information is captured in the system of planning and this is the reason why it does not show you the source of data that is used.

• Problems connecting to JDBC data source

  We have recently upgraded to JDeveloper 11 g to 10g and flies our applications (primarily the Struts). They are compiled fine, and I am able to create data sources and successfully test the connection to open the data source through the window of Application resources. The problem comes when I try to connect through the application. In Java code, I use a DataSource object to get the connection of InitialContext.lookup ("jdbc/sun_DS1") where the JNDI name is in parentheses. We used to define this connection in JDev 10 g via the file data - sources.xml and it worked very well. Now with 11g and defines the connection to the application, I don't know if I'm missing a step between the creation of the data source and run the application.
  
  The error I get is: javax.naming.NameNotFoundException: while trying to search for "jdbc.sun_DS1" did not find subcontext "jdbc." Solved "; rest the name "jdbc/sun_DS1.

  Once you run your application on the WLS console launch (http://localhost:7101/console) and look to see if JDev created a data source for you in WLS.)
  You may need to add it manually.

• HAL question Data Source

  We are still using HAL (I know that we are in the age of the stone here). I am trying to load members to the planning via HAL and can find no documentation on HAL anywhere. The specific question I have is that I don't know how to set the data source for the members to load. If I try to load a dynamic member as 'Dynamic' I get the error "com.hyperion.planning.InvalidHALValueException: data storage: Dynamics" is - anyone know where I can enumerate valid data storage settings to load?

• Cannot create the data source to SQL Server

  Hi people,

  I am running IIS, Windows XP SP3, SQL Express 2005, Trial Version of ColdFusion 9 (no patches).

  The administrator using ColdFusion, when I try to create a data source for SQLExpress 2005 (SQL Server Express), by using the SQL Server driver, I get the following error:

  Connection verification failed for data source: AMT
  java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia] [SQLServer JDBC Driver] the requested instance is not valid or is not running.
  The root cause was that: java.sql.SQLException: [Macromedia] [SQLServer JDBC Driver] the requested instance is not valid or is not running.

  The "instance", which I interpret as meaning the database instance, is "machinename\SQLExpress" (it is a so-called "named instance").  That's what I enter in the "Server" field of the display (data & Services-> sources-> Microsoft SQL Server).

  However, I am able to create an ODBC data source name in Windows using the driver Microsoft SQL Server Native Client Version 09.00.3042 and the same instance, "machinename\SQLExpress".

  Does anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong?

  Try to use the domain name TCP/IP (or IP address) and port instead of the info of the connectivity of Windows style.  You may need to enable TCP/IP as a network on the DB server protocol well (I think it is disabled by default on SQL Express Ed).
