What impression a web page printing
When I want to print a web page or something that I looked upwards, the page is printed normal but when you print, the print is really small.
Is there a way to fix this? I use a range of printers HP 8620
Z: ok, I printed this conversation. It looks like a normal print on this computer. On my toolbar, I have a picture of a printer. I click on that and then print.
Printing came out less than what it looks like on the page. I also tried CTRL + P and printing came out the same way.
I printed an e-mail message using files / printing and printing came out good. For you the truth I never thought to do a highlight, then using CTRL + P. I use a HP Pavilion with a printer HP 8620 and Windows 8.1.
I'm just getting back using windows, as I always have my iMac.

Unable to choose "Save" option when using Firefox 13 Web page printing
After agreed to Google Chrome, Firefox, the "Save as PDF" option does not appear, and the print window is the standard HP print different box of the window that opens. Is this a Firefox or an HP problem?
GPapa wrote:

Hello
HP and Firefox do not own/have any which PDF product that is why we cannot blame them. Normally in Firefox you 'Print {certain kinds of PDF wrirer}' not 'Save as PDF '. Please try in Firefox:
-Click on print.
-Select the PDF file on the list of printers,
If you don't find a PDF in the list, please download the following file and install on your machine:

Why it prints PDF web page in hieroglyphs
When I print a PDF web page it prints sometimes in hieroglyphs my screenshot, not text. Other formats and ordinary web pages print ok. Any ideas please? I see that by selecting "print image" can solve the problem, but I find that when I go to file / print advanced as suggested. I have the latest version of Adobe Reader and my printer, I bought yesterday new. Any ideas please?
When you install Firefox, it uses a built-in default PDF Viewer. This viewer uses the dialog box print of Firefox instead of print to Adobe dialog.
You can try to switch to the Adobe Acrobat plugin to view your PDF. Then, you can use either the floating bar the print icon or press the ESC key to show the menu plugin to print.
This article has the steps to change your favorite PDF reader: How to disable the built-in PDF Viewer and use another Viewer.
Does it work?

I can't print a PDF file in a web page to my network printer
If I try to print a PDF page in the browser, it does not work. Nothing happens at all. Print poster preview a blank page. I have to save the page (s) in PDF format and print from Acrobat 9. All other web pages print ok. Very strange.
The PDF embedded in the page (similar to how a Flash animation can be incorporated into a page) or is the PDF file displayed in the window is full?
If the PDF file has the full window, you should probably use the print provided by Adobe Reader icon. In the version I have, it appears in a toolbar when I float my the mouse pointer over the center of the document about 80% of the way to the bottom of the window. Not as convenient as the previous versions.

Printouts of web pages are produced in a huge font size
Printed web pages are manufactured in sizes of police who are huge - essentially a 1/4 of the web page prints on paper 8 x 11.
This has happened
Each time Firefox opened
recently, is since a few days
Thanks for the quick response. I've never changed parameters, do not know how it happened. I just noticed myself and fixed - it runs like a charm now!
Thanks again.

The print page opens not when I try to print a Web page.
I use Firefox for many months and so far I have had no problem printing a Web page. I was away for a week and discovered this problem yesterday when I tried to print a Web page. Maybe there was some changes during the week that I'm not aware of?
This happens on all websites or is it on particular websites?
Normally, a button to launch a page in the print format appears in a new window. Blocker integrated in Firefox allows popups generated by a user by clicking, but if you have additional security modules, maybe one of them is blocking those.
Could test you mode without failure of Firefox? It is a standard diagnostic tool to disable some advanced features of Firefox and extensions. More info: questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode.
Does not work if Firefox: Hold down the SHIFT key when you start Firefox.
If Firefox is running: You can restart Firefox in Mode safe mode using either:
- button "3-bar" menu > "?" button > restart with disabled modules
- Help menu > restart with disabled modules
and OK reboot.
Two scenarios: A small dialog box should appear. Click on 'Start mode safe' (not update).
Any improvement?

When I print a Web page to a .pdf or .xps file, it creates a new file, but file Explorer says it's 0 KB in size. These .pdf files will open, but they are white - the only thing that appears is the outline of a page, without anything in the outline. When I print an .xps file, File Explorer shows that it contains 0 KB. When I try to open it, I get a message saying that the XPS Viewer cannot open the file. These things just started for me a few days after I installed Firefox 40.0 on a new computer laptop of Toshiba Satellite with 10 Home Windows operating system. I have the latest version of Flash Player (in fact, I just tried redownloading and reinstalling the current version; that does not solve the problem). I tried to change the format by default to print to .pdf file, but that has not solved the problem. I contacted the chat Windows support site; They told me that it was not a Windows problem. Is this a Firefox problem? If so, you can tell me how to solve the problem, please?
Thank you
ssavageFirst of all, try to disable the extensions to see if that helps this, then try safe mode.
