  A few years ago, I bought Adobe Web Premium CS4. Earlier this year, I bought a new laptop with Windows 10 64-bit onboard. I installed CS4 - it took place without a hitch. Unfortunately, a few days ago, I had to have my reinstalled system. After the relocation and the update of my laptop, I tried again to install the Adobe software. This time, everything went well outside the Illustrator who can't run. Whenever I try to launch the program, the system inform me that Illustrator is not compatible with my operating system and I should change the settings for programs that don't support Unicode.   I contacted Adobe experts, but they do not know the solution and they sent me here. Is it possible to solve my problem? If this isn't the case - download the English version of Illustrator? Although it is part of Web Premium, a consultant from Adobe suggested it would not work as I have for the Web Premium serial number not for Illustrator itself.

  Thanks again, Ned Murphy. The problem is that I bought a new laptop, because the former was far too slooooow for work with the most demanding programs (such as I, for example). Yet, I really appreciate your efforts to console me.

  Fortunately, I managed to find a solution. It's pretty simple - all I had to do was to change the settings for programs that do not support Unicode in the language of my operating system (in my case - Polish [sic!]). For all of you who are having the same problem - you can find this option in the control panel > regional and Language Options (in Windows 10 regions only) as described here: How to change the language for non-unicode programs settings in Win10?

  That's all. Everything works fine again - I can't believe :)

  OK, I've read several posts and have yet to read a positive response. Will CS4 work (for me Web Premium) on a 64 bit Windows Vista computer. After hours of trying to reach the Adobe technology I finally managed to talk to a person of the India who spoke very bad English (surprise). His answer was not, it won't work, but if you buy it, call us and we will help you with the program. Huh? My conclusion was that he didn't clue in addition to my lost time. My problem is that I need the software but don't want to spend $1700.00 and discover the software does not work. How this issue can be at Adobe to meet? Can someone answer the question positively? I read that it might work with Vista, as long as it's not Vista Home Basic. I have Vista Home Premium.

  To directly answer your question, all the CS4 Suites and programs are compatible with Vista 64-bit versions except Vista Home Basic versions.

  If your copy of Vista 64 - bit is updated to Service Pack 4, there should be no need to download or install Microsoft 'fixes'.

  I am in the process of upgrading to a new machine and can not get myCS6 Design and Web Premium suite to install from the DVD-ROM. I've tried three different times, and I get a message at the end, saying that Dreamweaver and Fireworks installed and are available, but some elements of the following could not be installed (InDesign (, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat X, Flash). My computer is Windows 7 64-bit. the software installed and running fine on my old machine from W7 32 bit.

  I have a new computer running windows 7 Home premium 64-bit. The first software I've tried to install was CS4 Web Premium. It cannot install after having worked for some time and apparently installed some of the parties under the now - failed to install major components such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver.

  I ran the following own (whatever it is calld) and tried again with the same results. Finally I just install a stand-alone version of Photoshop CS5 Photoshop is the software I use 95% of the time and I need to get some work done, while I continued to get the rest of my data/software in place.

  Now, I'm almost finished installing my software and move my data to the new computer, I would like to go back and install CS4 - especially, I don't need that Dreamweaver, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and Flash. What is the best way to get this installed? I'll be better off doing this installation in Compatibility Mode because it won't install in normal mode? If so, how could I do (just need to copy the contents of the installation DVD to the hard drive first?)

  Which specific component is responsible for, it's impossible to say without seeing the Setup logs and even then it may not appear, I'm afraid. Can be anything. People don't usually comes take knowledge, because when you have already installed many programs, chances are that it is already on your system. Also, make sure your Windows Event Viewer.   However, Photoshop, I bought Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium, doesn't seem to have menu necessary available options in the drop down box chronology.

  The first page of the tutorial may come from a CC version, but so-called GIFs animated can also be created in the extended version of the CS6. The absence of these options seems to imply that I do not have the long version. But what I understand the Design & Web Premium should have the extended version of Photoshop.

• CS3 Web Premium "too many activations" error

  We have 8 volume of Web Premium CS3 licenses using the same license key. These were all installed on computers that are running Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.

  Recently, we had to switch to new machines and uninstalled the software without realizing it had to be disabled everything first.  Now, when you try to install the software we are presented with the error message "too many activations.

  After reading online we tried to reinstall the software on the original machines in order to turn them off but are presented with the same "too many activations" error if this is not possible either.

  We contacted Adobe support on the phone and via online chat, but they were of no help and suggested that we talk to the experts on the Adobe forum.

  Is it possible for the latter to be disabled by Adobe so that we can install the software on the new machine?

  CS3 is not supported in terms of Technical Support. Activation is a totally different issue.

  Back on the phone and ask to speak with the supervisor of a supervisor, until you get someone who understands your problem is activation. There is no time limit on the support of activation.

  And no, there is absolutely nothing that anyone on these forums can do to help with activation limit issues.

  your screenshot shows no option of activation and deactivation function is clickable, which also means that your product is activated.

  and Yes, you can install other versions of cs and they all work without problem.  (adobe acrobat is the only adobe program which is problematic if more than 1 version).
