WebAuth comments association limited

Hello

I need wireless configuration comments anchor using webauthentication for a client. The building is located in a busy area and I fear that if I leave it to 'open' and webauth, much is close to wireless clients will associate the client to the AP and get IP address and stay idle and use the binding of the AP table is it possible to expel these clients after a while if they switch to webauth? Is there another way that this unwanted associations can be controller in a SSID 'open' as used for the comments? Its also disturbing since these associations use comments DHCP pools.

Joe

Nicolas Merci for your contribution.

I didn't know that since the latest codes.

As you said, however there is no better option for large WLAN open for guest users.

If he wants to control a guest, he will still need security, but it will lose its purpose since its expected to have an easy to install open network, but it can depend on each company and the rules. Definitely the PSK option sounds good to me, but it will be useful for customers of comments? You know there are some ppl who can't even type a psk and just start calling the IT Department ask the PSK when they enter as WEP key or something like that...

  • Comments field limited to 100 characters

    I have someone else faced with limiting Eloqua that comments on the field only accepts 100 characters (it's less than the standards Twitter!). I wonder if anyone has found a way around this? Comments get caught in full length form remittances but comments stored in the contacts field are then reduced to 100 which in turn then only 100 characters to SFDC is leaving us to limit the characters we can fill in the comments section. 100 characters is a BIG limit. I hope that someone out there found a way around this...

    Hi tkatic, Yes, I've seen this before - in our initial Setup, we had a field 'notes lead' that has been configured as a normal text field and he is cut to 100 characters. We had to switch to the use of a real big text field, which is a pain, but you can do it.

    This field must be great text, not only on the form but in the real database. This means that you will need to create a new field of contact and transfer data from your field of comments in the new field.

    • Go to settings-> fields and views
    • Create a new contact type field "big text".
    • Export all your contacts to a CSV file (you can do this by making a segment where the only requirement is that the e-mail containing '@' and then export it). Make sure that you export the comments field.
    • Import the CSV file, but map old comments field to the new field of comments.
    • Change all your steps to write the data of observations in the new field of form processing comments. It comes to the stage of time, if you have many forms.

    Better to solve this problem, more now, more difficult it will be and the data more you will lose.

    EDIT - as shown below, you must also update your integration CRM settings to synchronize your comments field CRM with your new comment Eloqua field. See the comments below for more details. It's kind of not in our initial discussion, but of course any time you add a new field in Eloqua you must update your integration settings for the new field of synchronization to your CRM.

  • Ask about cell comments and annotations

    Hello

    We cell annotations and comments associated with the cell in the form? When you copy data, I get these annotations and comments in the new locations?

    Please forgive me if you do not receive my questions.

    I really appreciate your help

    Thank you

    When you copy data using a calc script, that it will not be copied, you can use the feature to copy data to copy the data but also to copy annotations and ultimately supporting detail and text in the cell. You can't copy annotations unit planning.

  • Export the comments AND highlighted text?

    I know there are several options to export the comments associated with a text highlighted in Adobe Acrobat Pro, but is possible to export both the comment AND has highlighted it text?

    Thank you.

    Hello

    None of the annotations on the toolbar of comment & Markup (including those not held with values by default, but available through "More tools") can be exported to a separate PDF file.
    Use the comments sum up or create comments summary in PDF.
    In the dialog box options presented, select only 'comments '.

    What about the strings that have the annotation highlight 'ugly' on them.
    Go to the preferences of Acrobat.
    Select the category 'comments '.
    Look at the settings in the "open pop up behavior.
    and the shutters "to comment.
    In particular, select "copy selected text into Highlight, strikethrough and underline comment pop-ups."
    Bar and underscore can be added to the toolbar to comment & markup via the menu "more tools" which is on the default context menu toolbar "Ribbon".

    Be well...

  • PTC parameter WorkItem comments

    I see that WorkItem has a getComments() method that returns the list < row >. How is this value set? I guess that common installation would not extract data from comment until an individual work item is opened. I suppose also that in the file xml to UI as the element of "comment" should have the 'existedComment' value ' ${workitemmodel.comments} "If this is the case, then how the comments are attached to a work item? If this isn't the case, then what is the correct configuration?

    Published by: user11232535 on December 16, 2009 09:29

    Jason,

    Normally, the getComments() API is called by TPC UI framework to show them in the working point details page. It can certainly be called in other cases.

    Here are the steps to retrieve the comments associated with a work item:

    (1) define the work point comment and its associated data source in the connector definition file
    For example,.

    ...

    ...

    ....

    For the "CommentDef" tag, the value of "data source" can be a database table, the value of "sourceAttr" can be a column of the table and criteriaRef value can be a single SQL statement. In the connector code, comments can be recovered using SQL through JDBC connection.

    Inside the "DataSource" tag, use the criteria to indicate how to retrieve data. By setting the attribute "valueBinding' tag 'test' to 'true', the framework of PTC links the value of point work ID present to the"workitemId' running.

    (2) implement the logic inside the connector getWorkItem() API
    For example,.

    public getWorkItem WorkItem (card session, String wiType, String wiId) throws ALMException
    {
    ...

    Map of wiDefs = dataModel.getWorkItemDefs ();
    WorkItemQueryDef wiDef = (wiType) wiDefs.get (WorkItemQueryDef);

    WorkItem wi = new WorkItem();

    get field values
    ...

    CommentDef commDef = wiDef.getCommentDef ();
    If (wi! = null & commDef! = null)
    {
    Try
    {
    List of comments = getWorkItemComments (session, wild, wiDef, commDef);
    wi.getComments () .addAll (comments);
    }
    catch (System.Exception e)
    {
    e.printStackTrace ();
    }
    }
    ...
    return wi;
    }

    Then build the list inside the getWorkItemComments() using the login information stored in the session plan and the commDef.

    (3) expose the UI control comment in the file of the user interface of work point
    For example,.

    rowToSpan = '1' labelWidth = "80" / >

    existedComment = "${workitemmodel.comments}" label = "Comments" / > "

    After them, calling getComments() on a work item must return the desired data.

    I hope this helps.

  • ISE, Windows 7 Machine AuthZ

    I'm running on an issue that me was dead in the water on the realization of a roll of ISE for Wireless.  The company has two SSID, an intern and an open, which is essentially an internet conduct only.  No internal resources (other than DHCP and DNS) are available.  We left a SSID inherited using ISE several months ago. Very simple, no BYOD, no registration unit, just Sponsor portal for external notebook computers and the staff for smartphones AD user authentication.  The great work.

    The second task was to take a legacy internal SSID and convert it to ISE 1.2.  My thoughts on how to do so, based on the previous experience, the SISE tutorial, "Cisco ISE BYOD and Secure Unified Access" text (which I recommend), and that a couple of consultants, has been to use 802. 1 X to apply computer authentication and user.  Seems simple enough.

    Of course, I need this implementation so that it is completely transparent to users.  The legacy SSID is controlled through ad group policy, it seemed a simple matter to change GP, as the new SSID comes at a higher priority.  Users will see both, AD will offer a new, and life goes on.

    That's exactly how it is supposed to work, and as far as I can tell, for all cold from laptops, which is exactly what is happening.

    See coldstart.png.

    Until a user decides to shut down his laptop and standby/hibernation sets.

    In case of a night, in the morning, the laptop goes to perform a user authZ but no machine AuthZ.  Because there is no authZ machine, the machine is unable to gain access to the Interior, which is a problem.  In the paper, I see this step:

    ISE 24423 was not able to confirm the previous machine successfully authentication of user in Active Directory

    In talking with the TAC, they grow I use NAM as begging him, rather than the Native Windows 7 supplicant.  Although I have installed AnyConnect on any computer, cell phone, at the moment, I have configured NAM and that breaks my directive "completely transparent to users.

    I also work with Microsoft, and while they have yet to confirm that Windows 7 is just too stupid to understand the situation of the notebook is, I suspect say that soon, as we are running out of things to try on the client.

    I am aware of the timer of the re-authentication that exists under the appropriate Authe\orization profile, and this number seems to max out at 18 hours (16-bit).

    At present, the I set the timer Reauth in results from politics to 1800 seconds.  I could probably put in a longer time, but weekends that will mess up like a good solution.

    About authentication, my default network to ISE strategy, I encouraged PEAP and EAP-FAST.  PEAP is preferred.  PACs are used.  See Defaultaccess.png, Defaultaccess2.png

    So, I can't believe I'm the only person with this problem.  Tell your users not to suspend their machines is not an option.  So, I have to ask...  Anyone else able to use 802. 1 X, ISE, Windows 7, as it works with sleep/hibernate?

    You're not alone. Making the real machine and the authentication of users (EAP-GETE) is currently not supported by any suppliant natives there. If you notice, the parameters begging Windows 7 allow to define "user or user or machine machine", but not "Machine and User ' is the reason was Cisco's push you the customer NAM. You can view the deployment guide from Cisco for EAP-GETE (a.k.a. EAP-Chaining here):

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/solutions/collateral/enterprise/design-zone-security/howto_80_eapchaining_deployment.PDF

    In addition, a draft RFC for TEAP was already posted:

    http://Tools.ietf.org/html/draft-ietf-EMU-EAP-tunnel-method-01

    Simply tell your representatives MS and Apple to this topic and request that it be supported in future releases and patches. :)

    I don't know enough about your environment, but I suspect that you use MAR (Machine access restrictions). If you use MAR, there is a timer that is set on the tab integration "AD". Once this timer expires ISE removes the database machine mac address, thus preventing the machine to the network until it performs another authentication machine. Unfortunately, this type of machine authentication only happens during a reboot or during a newspaper off / log. There are other associated limits of MAR (see link below) and personally I don't like nor recommend:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/LAN-switching/8021x/116516-problemsolution-technology-00.html

    With all that being said, I see the following options:

    1 back up the timer MAR to 168 hours (1 week) and have users that they must restart their machines first thing Monday.

    2. set Windows supplicants to perform only the PEAP machine authentication. It is different from that of MAR the actual machine AD credentials are used. You will not be able to perform the authentication of the user, but at least you'll only be allowing assets Corp. on the network.

    3. implement the Cisco NAM client and perform an EAP-GETE

    I hope this helps!

  • Routing VPN access list

    Hello

    I have a PIX 525 to my main site and a 1721 router at a remote location. I used the PDM and the SDM to configure site-to-site IPSec VPN connection. In my private network, I use 10.1.0.0/16 for the main site and 10.x.0.0/16 (where x = 2-47) to remote sites.

    The remote site with the VPN connection uses 10.19.0.0/16. When I originally created this VPN, I configured the traffic to flow from the remote site to 10.1.0.0/16 only. This means that the remote site cannot speak to any other remote sites, just the main site.

    I need to modify the access list to solve this problem. The relevant part of the remote site access list is now:

    access-list 103 allow ip 10.1.0.0 0.0.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255

    access-list 103 deny ip 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255 everything

    Can I change the subnet mask in the first line and put the second line first?

    access-list 103 deny ip 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255 everything

    access-list 103 allow ip 10.0.0.0 0.255.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255

    Or should I let the deny at the end statement, and add a line for each of the other remote sites:

    access-list 103 allow ip 10.1.0.0 0.0.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255

    access-list 103 allow ip 10.2.0.0 0.0.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255

    access-list 103 allow ip 10.3.0.0 0.0.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255

    access-list 103 allow ip 10.4.0.0 0.0.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255

    ... (others)

    access-list 103 deny ip 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255 everything

    Thank you.

    Help the additional configuration information that you have posted. There are still a few things which I hope could be clarified. It seems that you have 46 remote sites and only is connected via a VPN. How have the other connectivity? It is all over the links within your private network? Is there than any NAT involved in these other connections?

    In my previous answer, I assumed that there will be multiple VPN connections, revealing your additional information is not the case. So my comment about limitations in PIX for talk of talks is true but not applicable to your situation.

    Other remote sites are also coming via the VPN? If yes access list 100 which the 1721 uses to identify the IPSec traffic (and that was not in your posted material) will probably have to be changed.

    According to access list 103 is concerned, I guess that the deny ip 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255 is an anti-spoofing measure? If so, I would probably advocate put it as the first entry in the access list. What about if you want to use ip 10.0.0.0 allow 0.255.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255 or a series of individual licenses, according to me, a point to consider is that allowed 10.0.0.0 0.255.255.255 will allow any space of 10 addresses. It seems that you use 1 to 47. What happens if something came through 10.122.x.x? I suggest a compromise approach. You can use this:

    IP 10.0.0.0 allow 0.31.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255

    ip licensing 10.32.0.0 0.15.255.255 10.19.0.0 0.0.255.255

    This would allow 1 to 47 but not others.

  • password protect mail tiles

    How to password protect my microsoft windows 8 Mail email account tile? Can I change window properties?

    Hi Mick,

    Please contact Microsoft Community.

    The Microsoft Account used to connect to Windows will default gets set to the mail app and will not be able to password protect him. If you have comments associated with an application, you can provide your comments using the built-in return option:

    a. open the application that you want to provide feedback.

    (b) or by scanning of the right border of the screen towards the center of the screen to display up to the charms bar and click settings.

    c. click on comments.

    If you have additional questions on the computer, please ask your question about Windows and we will be happy to help you.

  • No sensor hardware for Intel ST1200BTS

    I'm under 5.1 ESXi (free) on a ST1200BTS from Intel.

    For the most part, everything works great. But I can get no information from any of the material probes, so no thermal readings, etc., etc.

    In the client vSphere, under the State of health, I see that the processors and software components.

    I've been Googling everything but can't seem to find anything about it. Am I missing something or are material probes of the Council not supported?

    I think that you can't get the info-sensors because according to "technical specifications" ST1200BTS lack integrated controller BMC (baseboard management). It is present on the ST1200BTL of 'sister-Council' which I use, so I see a complete set of information under the "State of health" (processors, memory, storage, voltage, temperature, fan, software components, power, chassis, guard dog).

    I can only add my own complaint for "hardware compatibility list". If something is which are listed there, it should be either fully supported or enough commented each limitation (i.e. not 2nd NETWORK card).

  • Unused indexes in PS CVDDH ACCTG LINE... remove them?

    There are a number of table index SQL Server comes with table PS_VCHR_ACCTG_LINE who appear to have no. seeks, scans or searches and some clues that have only a few 10 similar. These indices take much space. In total, they are half of the disk space used for this table. Looks like it would be good to remove these and re - use this space. Maybe with some other indexes even better.
    More precisely:

    Not looking, analyses, research:

    PSCVCHR_ACCTG_LINE
    PSEVCHR_ACCTG_LINE
    PSGVCHR_ACCTG_LINE
    PSJVCHR_ACCTG_LINE

    Rare:
    PSHVCHR_ACCTG_LINE
    PSKVCHR_ACCTG_LINE

    No matter who else looked or done this? Why are they here? If only they were supposed to be removed when others have been added?

    PeopleSoft Financials 9.1, 8.52 tools.

    Ron

    You can remove, but it would be considered a customization. Some clues have comments associated with them that should give you an idea what they are for. According to the features of your users are using currently, you can always wait you will have unused indexes on the tables though. Disk is cheap, however, so customize to save space probably is not worth.

    You can view comments in the application designer, or use SQL - something like

    Select indexid, idxcomments from psindexdefn where recname = "VCHR_ACCTG_LINE" to order by indexid;

    If you do not want to drop an index, you must set the platform to zero indicator (not active) in the application designer (Tools-> Data Administration-> index, then highlight the index you want to delete and click on modify indexes). If you use Build-> current definition and select Create indexes (make sure you build settings say create the indexes only if change), I think it will generate the DROP INDEX instructions for you.

    If you remove just the index in Oracle, you will get errors DDDAUDIT. If you completely delete the index definition in the application designer, it will probably not be identified as a customization in an upgrade and the index will reappear if you aren't careful.

    Kind regards

  • Workflow is serving

    Hello

    If I do a purge on a workflow item whose state of activity is OVER, she also purge the notifications there, attributes and other information related to this process?

    Thank you
    Jim

    Hello

    Assuming that the purge criteria are met, then Yes, the API will remove all data from runtime that relates to the process / process instance that you purge.

    In the Workflow API reference document:

    Removes all the elements for the specified item type, item key and end date, including the State of process information, notifications and comments associated with these notifications. However, in order to preserve the evidence of electronic signature for later use, this default API does not remove notifications requiring signatures or their associated signature information. If you do not need to keep the proof of the signature, you can choose to remove information related to the signature.

    Removes tables WF_NOTIFICATIONS, WF_COMMENTS, WF_ITEM_ACTIVITY_STATUSES, WF_ITEM_ATTRIBUTE_VALUES and WF_ITEMS and, if indicated, to WF_DIG_SIGS.

  • help with the problem

    I have two queries that need a feeding table. The problem is that is not having correctly and I can't for the life of understand me how to do this and so any help on this would be greatly appreciated. I tried two different scenarios to get to disposal properly, but I just don't get it.

    Here are the two I tried.

    First of all, I use two queries, the first gathering of the main information and the second are the comments associated with the data in the first. I tried a basic table layout and the positions of data to the table, but incorrectly. See the link: http://www.hmsims.net/hms/story.cfm

    I had to hardcode the comments online to make available to the way I would like that there. So it also does not work as it should.

    Second, I used one of the queries to retrieve data from all the tables needed to display. See the link: http://www.hmsims.net/hms/story2.cfm

    The problem is that the contract # 6755 VBC has two comments. I only need the data line to show once with all the comments below, and it replicates the data line twice with each comment separately on individual lines.

    Thank you very much. Worked perfectly.
