  I don't want to appear redundant, however, I always have the same problem, cannot print on different media (for example. Labels, Matt / glossy papers, etc.) other than plain white paper. As I said in my original post (below), I tried different settings, different programs, etc., without any result. The printer does that pass through without printing media, leaving the error / blinking yellow light.

  I believe that this printer is able to manage different media other than paper white just to 'stick '. Again, I ask your help to solve this problem. It is and has been, very frustrating trying to overcome this restriction of printing!

  I can't get my HP Officejet Pro 8000 Wireless inkjet color printer to print CD / DVD labels. I have tried various printer / paper options but the printer just feeds the media (in this case 'Fellows' brand matte CD 2-top) then spits it right back with result error amber light flashing.

  Printing has a sensor that determines if the paper is loaded and feeding properly into the printer.  If you print on media that is colored or printed features we can confuse the sensor.

  One thing to try - cut a strip of the sticky part of a post-it note maybe 1 "wide by 1/4".  Attach it to the top left of the sheet of labels on the side to be printed, the long side on the short side of the paper.  This will then put face down into the printer, with the band on the upper right of the tray paper.  After printing, you can remove it and reuse it for the next page.

  My HP cp1700 printer no longer works with Windows 8, but worked well with Windows 7. It is visible in printers and faxes, but displays always 'offline '.   Apart from the mentioned measures check the dates of warranty on the cartridges as shown here.  If they are years of the warranty period, is it possible the cartridges have failed, even though they were new in the box.  Also gently pat dry the printhead on a damp cloth to ensure that there are stripes of color cyan, magenta and yellow.  If there is not a task of strong color on the fabric the cartridges are probably the cause.

  The only black test page confirms that the issue is in the printer or cartridges, not with the computer or the drivers.

  If you want B & W prints, you must use a profile of color B & W. Adobe apps can do know anything about unless you tell them. Just because it seems gray does not mean it is gray on the technical level. You must read on color management. There is nothing wrong with the PS, you're simply using options and incorrect settings.

  I've recently updated to an iMac, retina 5K and the colors in the printed images do not match the colors of the image on the screen. I use CS6 and the screenshot below shows that, in the window of the print settings CS6 image does not match the image of origin either, the original image on the left.  I've updated all print drivers, and the images are also too green/faded when I print them, or download them on Animoto or Mpixpro.  We tried a Spyder calibration system, and that did not help.  For now, I have to make a folder separate with "twisted" images that have increased the saturation and Communists to give them a normal appearance.  Does anyone else have this problem?

  

  Unless you have a current color profile for the display you are using and you have calibrated the printer for the specific of ink and paper that you are using, its not surprising there are differences. Without a color managed workflow screen and software have no information on what the printer can produce.

  The range Spyder products are not up to the task.

  The normal options for managing your color workflow are:

  1. using the X-Rite i1 photo system,

  2. purchase of a custom profile for your type of printer, paper and ink, done by a specialist in color management

  3 - Send your files to a professional lab that is capable of producing quality work.

  Assuming that the print heads are out of all the colors correctly, try this:

  The printer HP Designjet 500 and 800 series printers have a fix that was implemented in the version of firmware A.02.08 and higher. This hotfix provides additional media profiles that prevent blue to mauve color output change. This fix is only applicable to the series 500 and 800 and only if the printer has a version of firmware of A.02.08 or higher.
