  Excuse me, I know that I posted earlier but I accidentally hit the wrong button and it says has answered my question and it was not. I had a virus on my computer and it was cleaned professionally. Now my windows media player will not open. He also will not play a cd/dvd or existing music files on my computer. The icon appears on the screen, but nothing happens when I try to open it. I can't do a system restore because there is nothing to restore, my computer was completely wiped out. Someone suggested this below "Disable media features" reboot and then turn on again. I tried already with no luck. I'm also totally updated everything I could find to put on my computer up-to-date.

  There are some media player FixIt who might want to try (I have not had your specific problem and Ive not run the FixIt so can't say for sure).

  You can try things like a SFC/scannow , that can help, but I doubt it. I guess it depends on what the virus.

  You could check that the virus is actually went in downloading, installing, free update (update in the Admin) and running a scan with Malwarebytes , but if it was 'cleaned professionally"should be deleted. But unfortunately things that his attack can still be altered.

  You could try a test, to create a new user account 'test' and the connection through that to see if WMP works from this account. for example, it can be your user profile that has been damaged. If this account works WMP then migrate your data everywhere...

  If all goes well, a WMP expert will come to the rescue.

  Looks like you did a system rather than a system restore recovery.  If you have inserted a disc supplied with your machine and booted from it, you probably erased the disc and installed the original operating system provided with your computer.  Usually, a step in this recovery is to do a full format or quick of your drive.  If you did a full format, your data is permanently lost.  With a quick format, your data may still be there, somewhere but inaccessible by normal means.  Applications must generally be installed, in order to recover the files probably will not help unless you have the original installation media.  Your other data files (images, videos, financial data) may be salvageable, but at this point, it would be advisable to take your computer or your disk to a business/professional who is experienced with data disc recovery.  It will be cheap and there is no guarantee.

  Impatient, remember investigate you a backup strategy for your computer and critical data.  Hard drives can go wrong with little or no warning.

  I used Adobe Dynamic Link in Premiere Pro in the past; both on my home computer that uses CS 5.5 and on my work computer that uses the creative cloud.

  However, just today, I tried to open dynamic link by clicking on file > Adobe Dynamic Link > import After Effects Composition.  Rather than open the dynamic links, first freezes everything simply.  An error tone plays whenever I try to click on anything whatsoever, and all the other components on my first interface are grayed.  I pressed ESC when it happened, and who seemed to come first back to normal, before I had tried to open dynamic links.  I tried to get around this obstacle by importing an After Effects project, but which causes essentially the same problem.  I have the small window that says "import...". "with the loading bar, but the bar does not load.  Pressing ESC cancels the import action and return back to normal first, before I had tried to import the composition.

  I don't know why the dynamic links will not open.  I have not received an error message, and the first collapsed in the process.  I need to know what the problem is and whether or not there is a fix.

  Your question has nothing to do with iCloud. You should remove unnecessary data from your phone to free up about 10% of your phone's storage space.

  Sometimes, a window is "off the screen" somehow. Often, you can force it to appear on the screen by right clicking on the thumbnail image just above the taskbar and choose expand. Does it work?
