If windows was reinstalled everything on your computer is now gone. You need to reinstall all the software once you have on the machine.  MR. BEAN ROCKS!

  • T560 - USB Skyris 445 m external webcam installed but does not

I don't know what it is... but the camera refuses to work exclusively on the Lenovo T560. Yet, it works on ALL the other machines I tested (including other laptops and other machines running windows 10)

It's the camera, what I'm trying to troubleshoot:
    http://www.Celestron.com/browse-shop/astronomy/Astroimaging-cameras/skyris-445m

I install this camera using the driver from the manufacturer (I tried 2 of them) and it seems to install properly (in the Device Manager, everything is green AND the full name of the camera is set correctly).

Yet, when I try to use the camera by using the software provided by the manufacturer, I get "error, not enough band width and the camera is in use by another program."

I tested all drivers. I tried all USB ports. I tried deleting all the software that can potentially interfere with the laptop.

Hell, I even re-installed Windows 10 FROM SCRATCH just to test it... and yet, he refuses to work so that all other machines seems to work very well with it. The kicker is that it is not the first device which refuses to the laptop.

So, what's the problem? Why the laptop is so that all the other machines I've tested perfectly functioning problems with external USB cameras.

I'm panicking here because I bought this laptop EXCLUSIVELY to use this device.

    It solved!

It turns out that the update of Microsoft Windows 10 birthday broke millions of external webcams in the world. (Good job Microsoft, you owe me a good 18 hours)

Had to go back to the previous update (which I was lucky enough to be able to do... because I received the laptop after the update has been applied).

The previous version of Windows is fixed at all. (Windows 2015 Nov 10 to build 1511).

  • EliteBook 8540p: can I install internal webcam in Elitebook 8540p

I have a 8540p EliteBook it doesn't have a webcam installed, qualified, technical Im so I can open the LCD bezel and install the rod, but I need to know if would work

or if there is a physical difference between the 8540p with cam and the 8540p without it (outside the cam)

    Roberto.

First thing you need to do is remove the LCD/LED panel.

Four screws on the top and two on the bottom.

Check the auxiliary LCD/LED Board on the bottom, just behind the emblem of HP for the connector of the camera?

If the connector is there, you can install a camera.

It is the camera and cable at the top of the LCD/LED display.

You will need a new bezel LCD/LED, camera and cable.

If you need assistance with parts let me know.

  • Do not install Windows 7 drivers for Logitech webcam C920

I spent the last week searching the Internet for solutions, as of yet not a single one worked, my webcam works on my laptop perfectly, but every time that I plug it into my pc dekstop, he refuses to work, it just says: drivers failed to install, when I select find updates, drivers are up-to-date , reinstall the driver does not resolve the problem, configure via Troubleshooting device does not work, and the microsoft fix this software is

    SOLUTION FOUND

I am running Windows 7 64 bit on an ASUS Z97 - A motherboard and the driver could not be installed.  To get to the bottom line, I found a conflict with ASUS AiCharger + info.  While studying that, I started helping the ASUS AO and accept the prompt to upgrade to version 1.2.18.226.  After that, the driver for the webcam installed and the camera and software seem to work fine.

    I hope this helps someone.

  • Webcam from Logitech (2) does not not - impossible to install the software

I tried two webcams from Logitech.  #1 webcam installed OK, but the sound did not work.  The video worked fine.  I went to properties, downloaded drivers, went the whole 9 yards, no noise.

Try to work with Webcam #2 (Quick Chat) and get this message when I run the software: this program is blocked due to compatibility issues.  Found the drivers and downloaded.  Yet once the vid does not have the audio type argument.  Realtek HD audio installed in Device Manager.

According to the box, Quickcam Chat is compatible with Windows Live Messenger.  Not one of these webcams does not work and I wonder why?

If none of the Logitech webcams works with Windows?

    Operating system: Win7 64 bit

    Webcam model # V - UAP42

    * Frustrating *.

If anyone knows WHAT the webcam works with Win7?

Talk to Logitech support and it seems none of these work with Win7 64 bit.  Does anyone have recommendations for webcams that work with Win7?

    Hello

Thank you for joining Microsoft Community where you will find all the necessary information on Microsoft products!

You can't seem to get its model V-UAP42 number using Quickcam Chat camera.

I imagine the frustration you feel when you are unable to get sound using a device.

The problem may occur if the driver is not compatible.

On the Logitech site, it seems that different software are available by Quickcam Chat camera.

    See the site:

I suggest you to install the driver for LWS 1.1 x 64 with Vid on the site mentioned above.

If the problem persists, try to install the drivers in compatibility mode.

  • Webcam does not work on my Satellite L850

    Hello

    My webcam does not work.
    I need your help!

In my opinion, I tried all possible.

    -Satellite L850 11Q
    -Windows 7 all updates
    -webcam installed Toshiba driver/application
    -any other webcam software
-no entry in the Device Manger/windows webcam

    What can I do?

    Hello

Have you installed another Win 7 on this laptop or are you using the system preinstalled by Toshiba?

If the webcam is not listed in the device, as an unknown device, or as a Device Manager to imagine, then that would mean that the material was not recognized by the system, that means that there is a connection hurt tight between the webcam and the motherboard or the webcam is defective.

If it worked in the past?

Also check the settings in the BIOS, in many cases the webcam can be enabled / disabled in the BIOS.

Try disabling these two applications before you start the webcam.

But let the two applications (MS messenger, ISQ) disabled during the installation of the webcam driver.

    Hello

What applications do you use to use the other external webcam?
Generally, if more then one device has been installed, you must choose and activate the right one.
The same phenomenon occurs if multiple printers are installed on the OS. You must first enable one and assign it as the default value.

Check if you can mark your external webcam installed as default webcam.

    Hello

My Web Cam see the head down, how can I turn around it, please

    Hello

1 are there any changes or updates made on the computer before the show?

    2. What is the brand and model number or the webcam? What is a webcam internal or external?

    3. what operating system is installed on the computer?

It might be settings that can evolve. When you use the control of the webcam settings/preferences and see if you can make these changes. You can find these settings in the software of the webcam installed on the computer.

    2. have you made changes to your computer lately?
    3. What is the status of the webcam in Device Manager?
    4. what operating system is installed on your computer?

Uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the webcam from the Device Manager.

You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

    a. open the Manager of devices by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, click System and security, and then, under system, clicking Device Manager. Need administrator permission if you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    b. in the list of usb devices or imaging devices locate the webcam and make a right click on it and then click on uninstall.

    c. restart the computer and a webcam, it will be re - install the drivers automatically.

  • Webcam on pavilion dv6 not detected and does not load when Cyberlink YouCam opens

I have a built-in webcam and my HP Pavilion dv6 will now display this message with a yellow triangle "no webcam installed".  How can I fix it?  My HP Pavilion really begins to fail.  CyberLink won't let me update software, because he claims that I don't have the full version. Doesn't have installed HP full version with my laptop?

After talking three times to Support HP technicians, I called a neighbor who has much better solutions. HP had me make a recovery (which ended up being useless and superfluous) and then when they could think of no more options, they said, should I back up all my data and do a full system restore. DO NOT TAKE this action until you have tried the following (my neighbor suggested some better options, including this site), but read the next paragraph to see what I ended up doing this WORK!

    solutions

After reading through the solutions and try a few other webcam software products, my neighbor suggested I uninstall the webcam using the Device Manager screen. Once you uninstall (say Yes if he asks you again if you want to uninstall the webcam material) then turn off your computer.  Wait a bit, turn it on, let warm up again, then look in the Device Manager, devices, imaging and your webcam should be re-discovered by your laptop. Once he reappears (mine did), analyzes material changes and run the driver updates (I don't remember what order I have them, but I have them).  After that, I reinstalled Cyberlink YouCam and POOF, everything worked fine! Skype was the video once again and everyone's happy.

No need to do a system restore or send the laptop to HP.  I only wish that HP has been able to tell me about this fix...

  • Acer Aspire 7741 G-6426 Win7 32-bit: Bluetooth and Webcam not working not

We have two laptops Acer Aspire 7741 G-6426 Win7 32-bit that neither bluetooth NOR webcam work on.  Both of them have, according to the Device Manager, all the drivers installed (no yellow exclamation point and try to update drivers yields the 'installed the latest software' message) and we seem to have all installed software.  In fact, there is no driver under Device Manager problem.

We have Acer Crystal Eye webcam installed, but when you navigate to it (start > all programs > Acer Crystal Eye Webcam video class), the only option is "Uninstall".

We Suite Bluetooth installed for the bluetooth, but when you navigate to it (start > all programs > more Bluetooth > Bluetooth Suite) and try to start it, nothing happens... no program will ever launch.  There is also a Bluetooth peripheral folder (start > all programs > Bluetooth devices) which says: (empty).

    What gives?

I checked our systems and found that the Aspire 7741 G-6426 not comes with Bluetooth.
