WebDAV?

Hi, can I set up my FMS for WebDAV? If Yes, what is my user name and the password is the same as my DCE?

It is a very old thread, but to connect via WEBDAV, the user name is:

owner

The password is the one you use on the SanDisk Connect.

  • Publish to Webdav still fails to connect, probably because the connection information is never requested.

Try to publish the Thunderbird calendar to the Webdav server by following the instructions Help article https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/exporting-and-sharing-a-calendar but I have never asked for the connection information. The publication fails with the error "the calendar has no publication. Status code: 405: method not allowed. "I can use other Webdav software enabled on this server ok. Can anyone suggest what the problem?

    Bonoky,
As I mentioned in my last reply, I think the key is that you must have a calendar on your server program, if the publication function can communicate with it.

  • WebDAV Finder

    Hello

I ve a problem with the Finder and a connection for an OS X Server 5.0.15 webdav.

When I am connected to the OS X Server webdav folder, the Finder shows me only records with more than 7 characters in the folder_name.

For example: a folder named '123456' or 'test' will be are not not in the Finder. But a folder named "test1234" is listed!

If I use the 'go to folder' option and enter "/ Volumes/webdav/foldername1/test, everything looks good.»

Does anyone have an idea to solve this problem?

BTW: Cyberduck on OS X show me any folder and Windows Explorer shows me all the files too!

Toshiba provide drivers to control devices in the own notebooks.
The component redirector Client Webdav allows Windows to log I/O on the file servers using the Webdav protocol.
This Protocol is used by different Web servers, such as Apache Web server, for example, and Internet service providers

  • Difficulty with webDAV to transfer files to RT

Hello, I'm following the article "use of WebDAV to transfer files to your target in real time.  I traced the target (sbRIO9637) as a network drive and I can explore the files in WIndows.  I put a non-empty password on the target.  However when I run SimpleGetFile I get only error 7.  I'm not clear how to type the URL, detailed help says to use File Explorer or the command prompt to check the names of files, but I don't understand exactly what this means.  Also, I am not sure that the URL is incorrect, if I have the wiring a wrong password then I also get error 7.  I have attached a code snippet.  The path of the local file is C:/Users/Public/Form1.cs in this case.  I suspect that the format of URL, but you do not know where is the fundamental problem!

  • WebDAV session no error but not connected

I am very eager to get running with webDAV. I see two main use cases:

    (1) cRIO pushes to a remote WebDAV server log files

    (2) cRIO acts as a webDAV server to allow remote clients to access files

"Why" is in both cases, because it's a safer way to transfer files, particularly with active HTTPS.

My first step was to set up a WebDAV on Windows 7 server (one of the many how - to of)... After some tinkering (I put the virtual shared folder in C:\ProgramData\ as for example my desktop does not read/write accessible by the default windows WebDAV server), I was able to connect to the windows ' DAV Server from a browser with (in my case) http://192.168.1.40/cRIO/ where the name of my virtual folder is cRIO.

My next step is to try to access this window ' folder DAV of the cRIO (on the same network), and this is where I am stuck.

It seems that the "open session" will happily blow almost anything and not report an error, even when I sent entries as a username = name of user domain\username and password empty or even an incorrect IP address...  This makes troubleshooting and learn a new interface rather like playing hide-and-seek blindfolded.

I left the last set of "inputs" that I tried as default values, except for the user name and password (for obvious reasons).

Long story short, I can't understand why this (code below) will not work?  for any idea or suggestion would be appreicated!

    Anyone?

  • GET the file of cRIO using WebDAV - error (363510)

    Hi all

Hoping for a little help with an error I can't cross. I am trying to get a file off my cRIO and onto my PC using the webDAV Protocol. I know there are other ways to do this, but really, Ide like to this way of working. I am sure that this is not a problem with my path of the file. The error says "Error writing to the socket" which makes me think maybe Windows prevents LabView to write the file on my local computer? I tried using the HTTPS protocol on port 443 so with the same result. One thing I am suspicious of is that I am connected directly to my cRIO on my secondary ethernet card and windows it is considering a "public network". I can't change that, but I have disabled the windows firewall, thinking that perhaps that had something to do with it.

    Thank you

    Corey

I got it to work. Turns out that "local file path" needs the full path, including the name of the file that will be written. This is in contradiction with the help file for the VI GET of WebDAV. The help file says that simply give the path of the directory that is written to the file.

  • WebDAV Get-124100 file error occurred at an unidentified place

OK, I'll have WebDAV issues more...

I use the WebDAV synchronous screw with Win7 and a cRIO-9014, LV 2013 SP1 and Server WebDAV 13.5.0.

When you use the NI_WebDAV.lvlib:Get File.vi , I get an error even if the file is recovered successfully.  I don't want to start to ignore the errors in my code because they could indicate a real problem now or in future versions of WebDAV.

I learn quickly that all WebDAV error messages are useless, since all screws are locked debugging is not possible.

Has anyone found any information useful for the WebDAV error messages help?

    Thanks for your suggestions.

    James

    Luis,

OK, I just found the path returned from the Directory Listing.vi is apparently the problem.

I've added code to remove the main path "/ files ' of this path and the error is eliminated.

Obviously, the WebDAV screws have been written to work properly with this incorrect path, but an unnecessary error.

The need to add this section of path does not exist at the uri Connection.vi open and then required to remove it from the path returned by the Directory Listing.vi before using the Get File.vi seems to be an oversite with the development of these libraries?  If this path does not exist is required by a function of lower level (locked diagrams) then this string could be added/removed the screws inside in this library.

I hope to find the cause of every no descriptive WebDAV error is not as much fun.

    Kind regards

    James

  • webDAV and WireShark

    Hi all

I noticed "NI_WebDAV.lvlibirecotry Listing.vi ' ~ 45 seconds back with the remote server lists, while Internet Explorer performs the same task in 1.3 seconds.

I ran a wireshark with capture filter "computer host and .

During the capture of the traffic of Internet Explorer, I get packets of 1821 and wireshark capture file is large ~2.7MB.

When I capture "Directory Listing" LabVIEW traffic (using a breakpoint immediately before the VI so I can start the capture after the WebDAV session is created), I get 9316 packages and the capture file is 14 MB.

    Curiosities about two things:

    (1) why the labview function is screw up the network that request data both to get more or less the same information (perhaps a 'base Directory Listing.VI' must be created and that returns the same information than Internet Explorer, in other words: list of all files and folders, date and time of files, size of files (, file names) and nothing else?)

    (2) in BOTH cases, I can't for the life of me find ALL the packages from the laptop TO the server?  -J' have even extended by capturing ALL traffic from all interfaces in promiscuous, from the VI mode after the capture was on, wait the full VI (opening of webdav session, request the inclusion in the directory <...43 seconds...="">close the webdav connection, then by using filters to show me all the traffic display with eth.dest == and I'm still not the packets to THE Server!   So HOW are sessions/connections to a webDAV server and how the queries/commands are sent to the server how can I capture that traffic!

    To answer my own question:

Several types of "on the network" communication exists at a level very deep down in the OS kernel. These (outgoing) packets are not visible to the software running on the same computer.  This is why wireshark is unable to see these packets.

The solution is to get something like the SharkTap network sniffer for ~ $70, or use an old school HUB (with absolutely no capacity of switching, so in other words nearly impossible to find these days as weven products labeled as hubs are really primitive switches), OR switch you can do different types of worms the front of a 'service' of the switch port managed a costly.

I ended up using the SharkTap.  So now I can do a WireShark capture "man in the middle" using my laptop out of the "Harbour Centre" on the SharkTap with another device (PC, cRIO, etc.) and the network/server on the other two ports and voila, I can now see Journal of WebDAV, WebDAV and other low level (windows remote desktop applications windows network fileshares etc.) packets to destination between my "client" and "Server". "»

Regarding the filters capture and tips I found useful:

You can use Boolean operators such as AND and OR with (parentheses) to build filters developed, however, I found I especially need just a few and what I do anyway.  I usually only filter by 'destination' of the MAC using MAC of sender and receiver addresses.  It cuts all random ARP and other programs that I fear not (usually) with, while ensuring that get ALL the rest... If it's too much, I add in the filters of port or Protocol to reduce further messages.

Configures this capture filter to capture only the packets going to the MAC or MAC:

dst XX or XX dst ether ether (for source, or ether host of variations of this filter, you can use CBC ether).

  • WebDAV, and type last modified information file empty

I use LV2013 SP1 and working to replace the existing features of FTP with WebDAV.

For this task, I need to get a list of files (*.tdms) on the RT (cRIO) and allow the user to select those for the transfer.

My current method of FTP displays the name, date of & size in a list for sorting and selection box.

No matter if I use synchronous or asynchronous WebDAV live to retrieve a list of directory, cluster type last modified info files elements and are empty.  The RT has installed Server WebDAV 13.5.0 .

I noticed that the type is filled for text (text/plain) files, but modified is always empty.

I'm guessing that there is no such thing as the MIME type of the TDMS files?  I do not need this information for sorting.

However, the modified information is very important for my applications & users to sort the list of files.

This can be a problem with all the parameters of the RT or missing software?

Thanks for any suggestions and assistance.

  • Multiple connections WebDav - error 1055: cancel the event recording

    Hello

I use WebDav to extract the files from the controller to the computer.

It does not work when I use only one connection.

When I use the same WebDav vi several times to extract the files in different folders, I get error 1055: unregister events.

The first vi continues to operate, but the other stops.

The vi is attached in the following snippet:

In order to run it, the joint screws are also necessary ('FileInfo name and Path.vi' and "State.ctl of WebDAV sync").

The second vi I want to run at the same time is exactly the same, but with different name of queue and different data records:

If I delete the function "Cancel registration for events" on the side right, then I get no error, but the second vi stops without explicitly stop the while loop.

    What could be wrong?

    Thank you.

The problem seems to be related to the use of an event inside a timed loop structure.

Call loops are designed to be run in certain time intervals, while program alsways waits on the structure of the event inside the loop until an event occurs. These two behaviors are strictly opposed to each other, which could cause problems in this particular case.

Replace call loops with while loops, seems to solve the problem

    Hello

    Scenerios:

Road map for a folder WebDAV on Win XP and Win 7 x 64 (windows update) with Office 2007 and Office 2010 (two offices last updated)

Map the drive to a WebDAV folder on Win XP and Win 7 x 64 (two windows do not update at all) with Office 2007 and Office 2010 (the two Office not updated at all)

    Error:

In the two Scenerios that I tried to save it on the Office menu at the location www.my-files.com/abc directly but it didn't save it then even more he kept repeating to show the save window and when I click Save it gives error that could not save and go back to save the window

    My training:

I tried the fixes and patches from Microsoft Site but nothing helped. (more particularly KB907306)

But when I map the location of my computer with SOFTWARE NETDRIVE, no error in saving and he saved in the first attempt even on Windows and Office, which have been updated at all. After that, I tried on Win7x86 with Office 2010 and after fully update, the office registered in the Office menu to the WebDAV location directly, without any errors, delays and offsets.

    Notes:

I have Win XP with Office 2007 on my 600 customers, I can not just roll two updates to products.

Why is this software it is possible but not from the Windows itself.

Just for two time in my Win 7 x 64 with Office 2007 (32-bit), I managed to save directly to the place, but I don't know what happened, and he started to make mistakes.

  • Creating a WebDAV folder

I am unable to find favorites network on my computer. The other option is to find Web folders on my computer which does not seem to exist either. I've seen some advice from someone on a right click on computer and then add a connection to network etc, but it comes up with the message that the folder you have entered does not seem to be valid. I then looked a few tips troubleshooting Vista on this problem but none of the questions apply to my address I typed in. I am really confused and frustrated and would like someone to help me understand this!
    Thank you!

The easiest way is to use the wizard.  Right-click on an empty space in the computer pane, then select "add a network location".  The wizard starts.  Click Next.  Select "Choose a custom network location", then, type the url, then (I guess the next step is to enter the authentication information, but I don't have a webdav share available to test)...
