Difficulty with webDAV to transfer files to RT

Hello, I'm following the article "use of WebDAV to transfer files to your target in real time.  I traced the target (sbRIO9637) as a network drive and I can explore the files in WIndows.  I put a non-empty password on the target.  However when I run SimpleGetFile I get only error 7.  I'm not clear how to type the URL, detailed help says to use File Explorer or the command prompt to check the names of files, but I don't understand exactly what this means.  Also, I am not sure that the URL is incorrect, if I have the wiring a wrong password then I also get error 7.  I have attached a code snippet.  The path of the local file is C:/Users/Public/Form1.cs in this case.  I suspect that the format of URL, but you do not know where is the fundamental problem!

Thank you

Jesse

  • With CVI to transfer files to cRIO 9066

    Hello

I'm trying to copy files to a directory on a cRIO 9066.

The method I use is to map a drive in Windows 7 and I want to copy the files with the CopyFile function in CVI.

The reader is defined as \\ni-crio-9066-030c6bf1.local\files (I also tried http://ni-crio-9066-030c6bf1.local \files).

With this method I can transfer files on this disc with the CopyFile function, but the transfer rate is extremely slow.

For a 300 KB file, it will take about 25-30 years.

During this time, my request is breaking, there is no more values in the controls or the UIRs until the copy is complete.

I tried to disable 'Automatically detect settings' in Internet Explorer in tools > Internet options > LAN settings > connections as I've seen in a knowledge base (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/4EBE45E8A816B19386257B6C0071D025).

The copy is much more rapid 1-1, 5 sec but I have a few failures of transfer. Windows told me that the transfer failed in a popup, the file in the cRIO is a file of 0ko (and CopyFile returns an error).

In the knowledge base, they warn about the failures of transfer but I was hoping to get an error code in the CopyFile function.

I also tried to run cmd.exe copy 'name of the source file' 'target file name' with LaunchExecutableEx but I got the same results.

I'm in a dead end for now.

Do you have any idea how I can transfer files between CVI and the cRIO?

PS: I tried the WebDAV protocol in Labview and it seems fine with that (good transfer rate and no failure of transfer). But I did find this library in CVI.

    Thank you for your help.

I'm sorry for my late reply.

I managed to send files in the cRIO 9066 via FTP.

I installed 'Legacy FTP Server' on the cRIO and I used the FTP API in CVI (proposed on the french forum and by the regulation).

    This solution works very well.

I didn't want to use an external if possible API so I chose the FTP solution.

  • Qosmio G20-110 with Vista-> cannot transfer files to SD card

    Hello

I created Vista on this machine by following the instructions of Francisco Jr. Everything works fine except

    1. I can't transfer files on a SD card. I get the following error:
    «Error 0 x 80070079 semaphore time out...» »

    2. He reformatted not either. If I try to format it, I get the following error:
"Windows could not format the drive.
The Toshiba SD Memory Format utility would not work either.

The same problems occur if I insert a Memory Stick. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this problem? I noticed some people on the forum with a similar problem toshiba Satellite:
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=25227&MessageID=95150??

The strange thing is, I can not read the card no problem, copy her okay and even delete files it contains. But I can't transfer files to it and I can't format it. The card works fine in other laptops with internal SD disks. In addition, it works fine if I plug an external drive in the Qosmio. Under XP it was no problem. I tried to reinstall Vista, reinstall the drivers supplied by Francisco Jr. and ran windows update several times. But I still get the same problem.

Looks like a problem with Vista not being able to communicate properly with the SD Qosmio player. Would appreciate any help on this.

    See you soon.

    Hello

As you probably know not all cards are supported and can be used!
In of the Qosmio G20 unit user manual you should find information what cards argues the Qosmio G20card player!
    Please check this box.

    Regarding your card problem SD;

Well, I read that you also a message in another thread.
    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=25227

And regarding the declaration, you can read data from SD cards. But it seems that you can not always copy or remove the data from the SD card.

Well, the SD card should normally pay a locking function. If the card is locked you can only read but you will not be able to remove something from the card or you will not be able to format the card.
I think you should check this switch!

  • Transfer files via AirDrop does not not on Mac Pro with El Capitan

I tried to transfer files between my iPhone and my macbook pro installed with El Capitan 10.11.5 2015 6 / iPad pro. Between the devices of the latter, it works flawlessly, but on the Macbook, it does not. I followed all the suggestions in the forums, delete the file bluetooth.plist etc. However non of these work. I noticed something in the section ' on the Mac / system report / Bluetooth.

I don't know if it will be useful, but I would have thought that should not be disabled, Airdrop uses Bluetooth technology.

These services are for the regular BT file transfer, not release.

They are listed as being disabled on my Mac Pro 2013 too but AirDrop works very well between my iPhone 6 + and Mac.

  • Can I transfer files and settings using easy transfer to a PC with an XP 32 bit system to a PC with 64-bit of Windows 8. I need to load software on the XP PC?

I'm helping a friend transfer files from laptop running Windows XP 32 bit on a desktop running Windows 8 64-bit PC.  I want to be sure easy transfer will work.

The use of a USB stick to transfer files works if you have only a few gigabytes of Documents, pictures, music and videos. Assuming that the old computer supports usb 2.0 (if it is longer than 5 years, she probably only support usb 1.0) over a network connection 100 Mbps local, there is no contest, the connection to the local network is much faster. Unless you really know what you're doing isn't the best advice. Do you know how to transfer your settings to internet explore (i.e. Favorites), passwords, certificates, outlook, etc. etc. ? The best solution is to use the windows easy transfer program, it's free! Download you the old machine (XP or Vista), race a category 5 (lan cable) cable to one of the unused router ports (Verizon, Comcast, Linksys, etc.). Turn on the old and the new. In the old computer, open the transfer program that you downloaded for free from Microsoft or the internet;  If the new computer is w7 and w8, the transfer is already installed; Open easy transfer in both computers, and then follow the prompts.  Start with your old computer, follow the instructions, it is not any easier than this. It gives you the choice of what you want to transfer and which solves a lot of problems. It is so easy to use that it is almost ridiculous. A word of warning does that move from a 32-bit to a 64-bit program, it works!

  • Can I transfer files from computer XP with FAT 32 file system to computer XP with NTFS file system?

I'm trying to transfer files from one computer to the other, both with XP.  Former is set up with the file system FAT 32. new using NTFS.  When I copy the files on thumb drive FAT 32 to and try and transfer to computer NTFS, files transfer, but nothing in them.  This does mean that I can't make such a transfer, or is there something I am doing wrong.  THX.

Y at - it files of 4 GB or more large size?  It's the only thing I can think of that could cause a problem, but I only expect to see only when copying from NTFS to FAT32.

When the files disappear?  They are on the Flash DRIVE?

How did you copy the file to the USB of the first computer?  How do copy you them from the USB drive to the second computer?

    Hello

Put the hard drive from the old computer in the new computer as a 2nd drive. Or turn the player
in an external USB enclosure. Or the other must allow you to access the files.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows could not transfer files. An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used.

Microsoft. It's so hard to get where you want to go on the site.

I wish they still had the cat where you enter just a few things, and for free, it instantly opens a window of instant messaging to chat with microsoft.

Well, I have a dongle bt USB and when I right click and click send a file, it gives an error

Windows could not transfer files. An address incompatible with the requested protocol was used.

With windows xp, I plug it and he can move 2 drivers, "microsoft bluetooth enumerator" and "generic bluetooth radio".

in windows 7, it installs the same 2 drivers

I pair the device from the phone and it didn't work. while I was looking for the computer and it does not even, but file transfer

It works totally fine XP and with the same drivers! just different os versions.

I went to Device Manager, click on set to update driver and he know that later is installed

BTW, it's a generic radio bt, and it was $10 do9ller micro dongle.

However, there is no brand name.

but it works under windows xp? but not 7?

Windows xp and windows 7 are duel boot, so it's the same material, b/c windows xp and windows 7 is on the same hardware

If I use the VM vmware, I can transfer files

Microsoft sucks... I mean except xp. He is old, but it's the best version of windows there, Runnin' on minimum 16 MB of ram and 400 mhz cpu... I luv xp, no more errors

    Hello

Check if the same device works fine on another computer with Windows 7 installed. Also, try to send files from the phone to the PC and check what is happening.

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following link. http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/back-up-the-registry

You can try the steps below and check if that helps get the Bluetooth dongle to work.

    (a) click Start and then click Run.

    (b) type regedit and then click OK.

    (c) locate and then click the following registry subkey:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {e0cbf06c-cd8b-4647-bb8a-263b43f0f974}

    (d) right click on the folder, click on delete.

    (e) exit and restart

Now, try to find your device and send the file. It should work.

    Hope this information is useful.

If you have deleted from the computer, there is a good chance that the hard drive
has been destroyed, and the files are gone.

Should I change to W8, rather than transfer again to W7?

    Your choice entirely.

I'm transferring my entire website from my old Web host at GoDaddy. How to copy all my files (in Dreamweaver) to my Web site from the server, it's on now, on my desk? So I can then connect you to my new server with GoDaddy and transfer all of the site?

If you don't have local copies of your site on your computer...

1 create a new Site definition using your old FTP GS-01 information: definition of a new site. Learn Dreamweaver CS5 & CS5.5 | Adobe TV

    2. Once you have the defined site and can connect, click on the Get (down arrow) command in the files Panel

3 when you are prompted to hit "get the entire Site? Yes

    4. After downloading the entire site, navigate to the Site > Manage Sites > click the site > Edit > servers > click on the remote server > Edit to enter your new GoDaddy FTP Info

    5. after the test connection to check, you can connect, click the command Put (up arrow) in the files Panel

If you have a site already defined for your old Web host, go to #4 above.

Difficulty of the corrupted Nikon NEF Images

In the future, I strongly suggest that you just use Lightroom to import your images. It works well. There is no need whatsoever to use Nikon Transfer. Is there any reason not to use.

No problem with Nikon Transfer, providing you up-to-date on a regular basis. It is part of NikonViewNX2 which is regularly updated to include new Nikon cameras. Update of Nikon will notify you of new updates. I use to transfer files nave of cameras D70, D100, D200, D300, D3, D700, D7000, D7100, D800 and D800E as I had them for years. I like it because it of fast, allows me to include copyright data and profile data he copies, and it will also rename it if you wish. They are then ready to be imported into LR.

My advice is NEVER use the import of LRs. IME process it has never worked well, even when the update.

  • transfer files to a Macbook Pro

Please bear with me. I'm not fine with a PC. I transferred my files from my Windows Vista PC to my new Macbook Pro lap top about a year using the Windows Wizard. The transfer was successful, however, I have not used my new Macbook Pro. I don't know, a mistake on my part I continued using my Windows PC. Now, a year later, my Windows PC is on its last leg and I want to start using my Macbook Pro 'new '. The question I have is, can I use the Windows wizard again to transfer files, I added to my Windows PC since my last file transfer to my Macbook Pro a year ago?

A friend told me that I should consider resetting my Macbook Pro back to factory settings and then start the transfer of Windows as a new transfer. Should I do this?  Can I use the Windows Easy Transfer Wizard again to transfer my files and does not duplicate files that have already been transferred?  As you can tell, I am lost and need help. Thank you for your help.

I use a USB flash drive or a backup hard drive to the "exfat" format, which can be read by Microsoft windows and OS - X.

I copy all my files on the backup disk.

This way I will always have a copy of my files on a storage disk that I can use with my Mac or PC.

That way if I ever need to do a reinstall on my Mac or my PC I always get my files from a backup flash drive.

Or better yet, just use a USB fixed your PC/Mac to the format exfat as disk storage for all your personal files.

    I use this one.
