WebLogic log filters

There is an exception thrown and logged by the EJB container, until I can stand it in my code (block-catch), so I decided to filter. So, I'm trying to create a weblogic journal filters as explained here:

The Archives of Incident: Weblogic: connect the filter Kung Fu

Everything works great until my filter looks like this:

NOT (MESSAGE LIKE '% java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException%')

But when I try to be more specific, for example I need to filter a unique constraint is not filtering anything.

For example, I tried both:

NOT (MESSAGE LIKE ' % ORA-00001: unique constraint (SOME.) UQ_MY_CONSTRAINT % have been violated")

and

NOT (MESSAGE LIKE ' % java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (SOME.) UQ_MY_CONSTRAINT) have been violated %')

The problem is that I do not escape the media - (and).

The filter of log should look like this:

NOT (MESSAGE LIKE ' % ORA-00001: unique constraint \(SOME.) UQ_MY_CONSTRAINT\) have been violated %')

or

NOT (MESSAGE LIKE ' % java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint \(SOME.) UQ_MY_CONSTRAINT\) have been violated %')

    Hello Eric,

    WLS 10.3.0 and 9.2 cannot be JRF enabled, as they are BEA (non-Oracle) releases. See note 1272884.1 for more details.

    You can use the metric of monitoring of log files from the target host.

  • Siebel 8.2.2 / OPA 10.4.4 connector - Weblogic - Server - Logs determination

    Hello

    I use Siebel 8.2.2 and OPA 10.4.4 connector on a Weblogic application.

    The most important fact, I use the server of determination.

    The war of determination server has been configured and deployed, the connector is woking.

    I have woud like to get session data that is only available on newspapers when log4j.xml is set to debug mode

    < root >
    < level value = "debug" / >
    < Ref appender-ref = "CONSOLE" / >
    < / root >

    But I do not know where are stored the server logs of determination on the logic of the web. In the documentation it says how to use log4j.xml for determination of web which is not my case.

    Could you help me please do my logs? (I already tried \\10.200.0.61\d$\oracleBI\logs and \\10.200.0.61\d$\oracleBI\user_projects\domains\bifoundation_domain\servers\AdminServer\logs)

    Thank you.

    Orlando.

    Hi Orlando,.

    You may need to make some configuration of your weblogic server.

    In the weblogic console click environment > servers > (server) and take a look at the logging configuration.

    The setting that you probably want to turn on is located in the section advanced and is called "Redirect stdout enabled logging" and is described as:

    When activated, it redirects the standard output of the JVM that runs an instance of WebLogic Server, WebLogic logging system. The content of stdout is published on all destinations registered newspapers, like the console terminal server and the log file

    Another solution is to specify an explicit position for the determinations of the sessions server by adding an appender. For example.

    See you soon

  • System and application event logs

    Request:

    Ability to set alerts for application and system events "different from.

    Explanation:

    With any server, there are some events that should or considered normal for this respective environment.  It would be nice to create an alert that says "send an alert until the alert is not XYZ".

    See if you can achieve this functionality by playing with the settings of the event log.

    The displayed context menu is for (windows) event log filters, you can be able to excluded all the events that you are NOT interested to see and just include those that you are interested be alerted on.

  • ADF Logger | How to configure Weblogic Server

    Hi all

    I use JDev 12 c and weblogic server 10.3.

    I have configured the recorder in my local, using logging.xml and print newspapers in specific file. which works fine locally.

    Now, I have to implement the same stand-alone weblogic Server (production).

    I understand that by the link below is, I'll have logging.xml in the server as well and I have to configure the same setting in weblogic server.

    JDeveloper frequently asked Questions: FAQ #33 - how to set up the recording of WLS, PT. 3 Diagnostics ADF

    But I don't see any of the weblogic server logging.xml file.

    Please suggest how can I implement the same in weblogic server.

  • WebLogic myrealm: problem with AD provider

    Hi all.

    I'm having a problem were the users are unable to loggin in our Webcenter portal (we did a Custom Porta) 11.1.1.6)). The connection of the ADF is enabled with (jazn-data) forms-based authentication

    I now have a number of six users with this problem. Two of them, never recorded in the prior application and the application has no restrictions for it. For the other four, the problem started when they changed their Windows password reset password (ctrl + alt + delete). Verification in LDAP, the password is updated.

    The configuration of my provider is to 'work', I see all these six problem users like everyone else in our society and all the ad groups when I search for them in the tab "Users and groups" in the Weblogic Console myrealm tab. Configuration is marked with SUFFICIENT and the provider is the first on the list.

    When you enable the ATN - DebugSecurityAtn, I found this track:

    getDNForUser search ["OU = xxx, OU = xxx, DC = xxxx, DC = xxx", "(& (& sAMAccountName = xxx)(objectclass=user)) (!) '] ' (() userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803: = 2))).

    That goes right to the place and I have the dn for the user:

    "DN user xxxx: .

    CN = xxxx, unit of ORGANIZATION = xxxx...»

    But also, for some reason, I'm having a 'NTDS LDAP abortion"with"authentication failed 49.

    So I did some digging for the LDAP 49 error code and I got some info on these links:

    IBM data codes associated to ' LDAP: error code 49' with Microsoft Active Directory - United States

    http://wiki.servicenow.com/index.php?title=LDAP_Error_Codes#GSC.tab=0

    http://ldapwiki.Willeke.com/wiki/common%20Active%20Directory%20Bind%20Errors

    The problem is that ahe's the user are valid and active, the password has not expired, the account is not disabled, the account has not expired, that the user can open a session in another applications in our company that uses the same ad for the connection, as they can connect to Windows normally, change his password and etc...

    I spoke with some users, and we are trying to change their password, the service of unlocking the "Security-> unlock users" of Weblogic Console, but all without success. With the new password they have logged in all other applications without problem.

    Any suggestions? This is happenning to our WebCenter application only

    Is it possible that Weblogic maintains a cache for the user name and password?

    Thank you.

    PS: (! (userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)) -> user activated ))

    Hello there Mohab.Elsayed, sorry for my delay here.

    Well, after all, the effort involved on this, I could still not point the source of the problem.

    The good news is that we forced all the problems users to change their password at the next logon, and they were able to connect to the application once more. As I am not the cause with the announcement of the way I am with Weblogic and ADF here, I can't play with AD, so I can't tell you guys for sure what is happening.

    Try to see the news that we got to solve the problem:

    1. What we have heard from users, the problem started when they changed their passwords with the support (call Service Desk);
    2. Since my first post, we has been specifically research related LDAP 'Error Code 49'. Which was not bad, but still far apart as the given URL pointing us to a lot of possibilities.
    3. Us have poisoned a bit more and discovered that in fact the "Error Code 49" seen in Weblogic logs was directly linked to a code Weblogic error and not an AD Code error. With a "[Security: 090302] authentication failed: User xxxx has denied"
    4. The given Code 49 error was on the credentials of bad / wrong password;
    5. With a "test and strategic mistake", as the configuration of our Weblogic was 100% correct, we reported on the AD users to change his password the next logon;
    6. When users logged in Windows for the first time after that the flag is set, they were asked to change their password;
    7. After changing the password via the Windows journal, they managed to connect in our application.

    For some reason any, that I can't say, it seems that Windows was able to refresh our Env AD with the new user password. 1. Point, does not have things very clear, that otherwise the whole society would be unable to connect whenever users forget their password.

    Thanks for the support guys came with a lot of useful content!

    Hello

    I did according to your suggestion and cant able to start the administration server.

    I tried to post the class path by adding '${POST_CLASSPATH} " as follows and the problem was solved.

    Thanks a lot for answering my query.

    POST_CLASSPATH="${POST_CLASSPATH}:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/jasperreports-3.6.0.jar:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/commons-digester-1.7.jar:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/log4j-1.2.15.jar:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/org.apache.commons.beanutils_1.6.jar:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/org.apache.commons.collections_3.1.jar:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/org.apache.commons.logging_1.0.4.jar:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/iText-2.1.0.jar:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/groovy-all-1.5.5.jar:/oracle/Middleware_1212/jasper/poi-3.2-FINAL-20081019.jar".

  • Unbounded task flow works is not in standalone Weblogic Server

    Hello

    JDeveloper Version: 11.1.1.3
    WebLogic Version: 10.3

    I built an application using Oracle ADF, and the application is deployed on weblogic 10.3. In this application, I use unbounded Oracle ADF task flows to navigate between pages.

    The application works fine when it is deployed on the integrated Weblogic Server that is part of Jdeveloper (11.1.1.3 version). However, when I deploy the same application (ear file) on a stand-alone weblogic server, the page navigation not working - no error/exception is provided in weblogic logs. When I click the button to navigate to the next page - the same page reloads.

    My WLS independent field produced JRF Oracle installed on it.

    Please note that I can always access individual pages (.jspx) providing individual URL.

    Any help in how to solve this - or of the indications regarding how I would go about debugging of this.

    Thank you
    Ash

    Ash,

    Looks like you're running the JSPX rather than the workflow. Try to remove the ".jspx' to the end of your URL.

    Compare the URL that works in JDev with the URL that does not work, and it becomes apparent.

    If things work out after clicking on the item a second time in a row, it is certainly your question.

  • A matching logfilter string can span several consecutive lines in a log file

    Hello

    is it possible to have a matching log filtering string cover several consecutive lines in a log file?

    Unfortunately, we have some error messages in the log files that I need to match that cover several new lines.  You don't know why they did it, but his frustration for us at the end of surveillance.

    So would need to have a matching string that correspond to a portion on the first line and another on lines 1-2 below.

    My guess is that it can not be done, but thought I'd check here first.

    "mark".

    Confirmed.

    LogFilter reads and tests for matches of the mistake of a single line of the log at a time.

    Any help is very appreciated.

    Have you checked the memory consumption? You could try enabling registration of gc with the JAVA virtual machine to see if the GC to become more frequent. If Yes, then you may have a problem of memory, which causes the JVM to crash.
