Any help is very appreciated.

Have you checked the memory consumption? You could try enabling registration of gc with the JAVA virtual machine to see if the GC to become more frequent. If Yes, then you may have a problem of memory, which causes the JVM to crash.

  • Computer hangs after installing windows updates...

computer hangs after the installation of update.  Full system restore and the computer worked fine for a week. Has started having problems still... verified and automatic updates for windows have been downloaded and installed today. Confused about where to go from here. Help, please. Thank you!

To be clear, the issue is not appeared since the updates have been installed one at a time, correct?

KB2447568 is A compatibility view list update is available for Windows Internet Explorer 8:23 November 2010
The KB updates a file in Internet Explorer.
There is a small chance that Trend Micro has a conflict with the update. If this is the issue, then there would be more posts on this topic.
This looks like a temporary glitch occurred.

The only suggestion I would make is that when there are a bunch of updates, as there was in December, then it would be better to install the most complex by themselves.
This would mean that changing setting Windows updates for "download updates for me, but let me choose whether to install them.
For example, the cumulative update for Internet Explorer, KB2416400, would be installed last, and by himself.

And, since you pick a time to install updates that have been previously downloaded, then you can install them in groups of 4 and If it is another problem caused by them or their installation, you will be able to refine specific update was the cause.

I would say to uninstall AVG and see if the accidents to solve.

If you had previously installed Trend Micro plan to run the following Trend Micro removal tool:

  • Sequencer of WebLogic Portal

    HI Experts,

We are currently migrating to a CMS tailored to weblogic portal CMS, we have done the migration on the level of database by creating scripts that will insert the data from the old CMS to WLP CMS, but after migrating all data, we met a PK violation in the CM_NODE table in particular on the NODE_ID column when we try to create a new content through WLP CMS API. I discovered that the ID on this column (NODE_ID) are generated by p13n sequencer (correct me if I'm wrong). Here's my question, is there a way to modify the starting value sequencer to avoid a PK violation on the current NODE_ID on table CM_NODE? I checked the table SEQUENCER and tried to change the current value for NODE_ID but I have no chance. or is it possible to call the sequencer on an insert script? so scripts that I created will always use the ID generated by the sequencer. I hope you can help me with that. Thanks in advance!

    Villy

    Hi Villy,

WLP uses the table SEQUENCER to manage all sequences.

Simply find the entries you want to update in this table. After this operation, restart your servers WLP.

The portal app tries to put a session attribute not serializable in a coherence * Web http session, which is not allowed by default. Add the following configuration to the web.xml file in your WAR file:

    consistency-preserve-attributes
    true

    consistency-distributioncontroller-class
    com.tangosol.coherence.servlet.AbstractHttpSessionCollection$ HybridController

This will allow the attributes not serializable to be stored in the local http sessions. These attributes them will not be distributed on the cluster.

  • How to change the number of default weblogic Portal port

Hi all, I would like to change the number of port weblogic portal server by default to 80 in order to test.

    (1) can I change like that
    (2) in the affirmative, please let me know how to do this.

I went to the file config.xml and search 7001, not able to find something with this number, able to see 7002. (The SSL port).

Please put some light on this.

    Thank you very much
    Peter.

    Hi Peter
    1. Yes, you can change the default port 7001 to something else.

    2. If you have default Port 7001, it will not appear in the config.xml file. There are NO labels. So yes, when you searched 7001 you find IT. If you change the default port, you will have entered as shown below. If you change the default port, these port tags are shown in the config.xml file.

    3. stop the servers. Make a backup of the config.xml file. Within the tag xml from the server, as shown below, add these 2 labels carefully. Save the config.xml file. Restart the server. NOW, this means that your administration console is running on Port 80.
    80
    true

Example of file config.xml with the default port changed to 80

    AdminServer

    AdminServer
    true
    demoidentity
    {3DES} qxEhrfmANIITdpvPld0Uvk5i/rPNDAmZ

    80
    true
    ...
    ...

NOTE: You can also change of administration Console. Choose your thinking, the servers and the AdminServer. In the main, first tab and then click on lock and change change the default port 7001 to 80. Record. Click Activate. Immedialtey you will get errror Page not found. Because the url is still having 7001. You manually change the port of the url to 80. You will again see console. If I prefer, stop the server. Edit the config.xml file. Restart the server.

  • Next version of Weblogic portal

What is the next version of Weblogic portal (after 10.3) and when will it be available?

    Zephyr,

A new major version of WebLogic Portal, which will be released next year. It will be marked 11g and contains some significant new features and functionality.

For more information on the details - I suggest to access the presentation of WLP roadmap which was shown at OpenWorld this week.

I believe the site to get access to the presentations are available here: http://ondemandpreview.vportal.net

  • Clustering weblogic portal 10.3 with apache plugin

    Hello

We have configured a cluster of weblogic portal 10.3 with two managed servers. We use the apache 2.2 module plugin for sending.

It seems that the plugin does not work correctly. It distributes requests only to a single server (we have tested different client machines). When you kill one of the managed servers the plugin distributed to the other server that is correct.

In the case of our test, we realized a lot of load with the two instances of two machines jmeter. All applications are dispachted to a managed server. After that the first server is running in an out of memory, the dispachted plugin to the second server managed until it flows in an out of memory. For this purpose, we have no real load balancing.

    Here is our httpd.conf configuration:

    < VirtualHost 149.191.201.135:80 >
    ServerName localhost
    # ServerAlias adportal adportal.eu.xxx.com

Someone at - it an idea?

Incidentally we also tested with the apache 2.0 plugin that does not work also.

That make your debugging records say?
Another thing, you could try turning OFF = DyanmicServerList

  • MBP running El Capitan hangs after login

Today, my 2011 15 to the Macbook pro mid hangs after login to the admin account. The status bar does not appear, or the desktop icons. Nothing does, and I need to force the shutdown to be able to restart.

These are the things I've already tried:

    • Restart in safe mode: the desktop icons will appear, but all crashes after a few seconds. I think since safe mode does not work, the problem with the Finder, DS_Store problem, icon, or a problem with iCloud. So I went to the next step.
    • Running the tool of first aid disk utility in OSX (restart + Cmd + R) recovery tools: it indicates that the drive is OK.
    • / Sbin/fsck - FY running in single user mode: the drive seems to be OK.

I don't know what to try next. Since I really need my computer for the next few days, I could go to an Apple store later this week. Of course, I would be really happy to avoid the costs of this option.

Anyone of you has an idea of what I should try next?

    What safeguards do you have?
You have another account that works?

  • Satellite Pro U400 - 15 p hangs after enabling the Realtek RTL8187B WLan card

    Hello

I recently bought the Toshiba Satellite Pro u400 - 15 p. This notebook is originally without any operating system included. I installed Windows XP Home SP3 on it and downloaded all the drivers from the Web from Toshiba website. Everything works well except the WiFi - RTL8187B.

Driver has been installed correctly, when I turn the WLAN on everything is always OK, but when I connect to a network wireless Windows XP hangs after some time - without notice or BSOD - and the only thing I can do is to restart the PC holding down the button for 5 seconds.

    I have:
    -installed the latest BIOS (v3.70),
-installed the last version of drivers available (v6.1150.1112.2008)
-tried how it works on Vista Home Basic - it does not either, but on Vista only connection must be reset.

I searched on the web (perhaps not all), including this forum, but I was unable to find a solution.
Now I am seriously considering warranty claim, please help me to avoid that it ;)

    Hello

    It's really strange.
Are you sure that this happens because of the WLan card activated 100%?
I mean there could be another reason for this gel

I'm U400 too and I m running Win XP and Vista without problem!
At that time, I m using WiFi and everything works ok

I think it s not a Wlan related question, but there must be another reason why this laptop locks maybe a problem of RAM or something like that.

It happens quite often that when I boot up my laptop a card WiFi is turned on, the computer hangs after windows journal.
When I type my user password nothing happens and a few seconds later, the background appears but nothing else.
When I restart the laptop the same problem occurs. only when I turn off the wlan card, I can start the computer successfully.

    Maybe anyone can help me?

    thanx.

    Hello Alex

I am very interested about your problem and it is interested to know if this problem persists if the unit wakes from sleep or hibernation mode.
    Can you please verify this?

My iphone 6 s most is having hanged. They said he he's is not replaced. I was wondering how should I confirm that the phone I get is a brand new one not used one?

This will be an iPhone manufacturer refurbished in excellent condition 'as new '. You can not change anything on this subject because it's the usual Apple policy on replacement devices.
