  It is the response of the Dev team:

  0 means agent would take a default value. Default timeout is 10 seconds, and content by default time-out is 3 seconds.

  Login time-out is the maximum waiting time used to establish the http connection. Content of time-out is the maximum waiting time used to read the contents of the target resource after the connection is established.

  After reinstall Agent for the 15 th time and wait for about 10 minutes of frustration, it works, I n believe in miracles, but here's the evidence, what I've done:

  Reinstall the name of different Agent than on complete installation

  Recreate the different name endpoint of that on complete installation

  Place the account that I use for vCAC as the local administrator in vCenter Server

  I have 11g grid upwards and running, now we added the couple of 10g as servers, add 10 g as a grid of 11 g servers, my question is that I have to install grid 11 g or 10 g to 10 g As agent.

• Foglight - selector WebMonitoring agent agent problem

  As you can see on the image, I have a LARGE number of available agent. I was testing to see how I could get on a flgam put t two concerts.

  When I was pushing the flgam to its limits I deleted the agent screen agents. Waited an hour, and they mounted again. So I ran the script of delete-object-fade and checked back 5 minutes later and they were gone from host > Agents in data manager. Yet, they are still in the selector of the agent.

  I waited an hour and always there. I reboot the SGF always there. So I finally deleted the entire agentmanager since data manager, and they are still there. No idea what I'm doing wrong here?

• 12 c Agent question

  Dear gurus.

  Today one of the agent is stopped working and I am getting below error.

  Agent is blocked. Is blocked: Agent is out-of-sync with the repository. This probably means that the agent has been reinstalled or recovered. Please contact an administrator EM to unlock the agent by performing a resynchronization of the agent from the console.

  Event, I tried to unlock the agent on the OEM portal by navigating Setup-> manage Cloud control-> Agents and selected agent on and clicking on unbloc but immediately his once again blocking...

  So I tried on the agent server by running below command but no luck

  1. status emctl agent

  2 emctl stop agent

  3. delete the files of

  CD $AGENT_HOME/sysman/emd/upload and

  CD $AGENT_HOME/sysman/emd/State

  4 emctl clearstate agent

  5 emctl sure agent

  6 emctl start agent

  7 emctl pingOMS

• Interface of host agent questions more is more recent than the server

  I noticed that my host in Lab Manager is available but not ready state, which means, I can't really do anything.  The error I get is:

  Preparation error

  With interface '5' agent version is newer than the server interface version '2' on the host.

  Any suggestions?

  When you have deployed WebMonitor, did specify it URL to monitor? You will reach those URLS of the machine where the agent WebMonitor? Are there errors in the log files?

  Also, can you post a snapshot of the file list of agent Web Server Properties screen?

  Could you not make a copy of the default rule and then select only the DEADLY condition and set the behavior through the tab behavior, such as the alarm goes off only if three consecutive samples fail?  Looks like that fits your use case.

• Filter paper and the Agents Web Monitor for Windows 2012

  Hi all

  We are being followed by a new requirement of filter paper and URLS to track for windows server 2012. From now on, we use foglight 5.6.4, but even in the more recent versions, I can see that these filter paper and WebMonitor agents support only Windows 2008. Could someone help me in this? What can be the workaround in the follow-up to this Windows Server 2012?

• Foglight Agent error manager and Agent infrastructure

  I get the following in the Foglight Agent Manager error message:

  ECHO myWindowsAgent > com.quest.remoteos.SystemMonitorImpl ERROR [Quartz-1] - unable to connect to . No data has been collected.com.quest.glue.api.services.RemoteConnectionException: a connection could not be established

  Also when you try to add a single host to remotely monitor I get the same error message.

  I checked the credentials and they are correct... any ideas how to solve this problem?

• Svchost.exe (netsvcs) 100% cpu - update of Windows *.256 cause - update forever checks as does Defender.

  Hi, I got 100% usage cpu choking my system Toshiba laptop L300 Vista 32-bit, cause - (netsvcs) svhost.exe in time real trouble was unknown and tried everything has failed. So I did a complete new installation and fully updated to SP2 then the next update and it required me to download the latest update to terminant.256. My system is now unusable with constantly check and update svchost.exe using 100% cpu. All is well until I start to WU and I restore prior to this Windows Update Agent... Also if I close just the update it is still short in the background using 100% cpu by svchost.exe (ntsvcs) until I have manually stop the service.

  I have:

  Disabled Windows Firewall and Avast antivirus.

  I tried all the things as well in safe mode.

  Installed costs.

  Followed the instructions found on the net

  In offline mode, downloaded and installed the latest update which is the same as that.

  Whenever I have restore before this update, it works very well. The download of the update even if I have restore and install only the off-line version, it cripples even with 100% cpu and without end of audit. He made also Defender without end of audit.

  How to fix something that is a solid wall. You cannot uninstall or go around it. If I restore before it, that's all I can ever be updated Vista.

  I admit, I'm going nuts with this thing. I can't be the only one, it is 100% Windows update agent question.

  My apologies if these are silly questions, but I don't have much time to meet certain requirements being pushed down from management. Yes, questions...

  -It must be monitor if mycoolsite.local redirects to someuncoolsite.local, can the agent WebMonitor handle this? If so, is there a specific measure for that? We owe this to for reporting purposes.

  -The rule of Page_Availability trigger if the HTTP response code is anything but 200?

  There is a requirement more that I could throw well there, too. We also generate a checksum of the page and monitor for any changes. I think a custom script agent is the only way to do this but am open to other possible suggestions...
