  I found a post where a guy - now away for me is 'God' - explains how to fix this problem yourself! AND a lot of positions where other guys did, and they confirm that it works!

  Here's the method. Feel happy!

  I formatted my laptop and installed XP with SP3. I downloaded and installed the drivers (in the right order) for this OS of the toshiba - Europe.com and everything is going well except Fn + F8. It is assumed that this combination has toggle Wifi & Bluetooth. When I switch side 'off' position and I press the keys, appears a message saying that I should switch to position 'on' but when I switch lateral position 'on' and I press Fn + F8 it does nothing.

  If I want to disable the wi - fi I have to do it with other methods: the function key does not work correctly.

  Any clue?

• Western Digital IcePack for the SSD mounting: problem to share

  I liked the sled of adapter form factor of 2.5 to 3.5 Western Digital IcePack for my converted Momentus XT 500 GB disks hard/Intel SSD 2.5 "for proper installation in HP xw workstations.  Most of the jobs that I use have the standard plastic 3.5 "drive green HP monte that slide in case channels meant for this.  See PDF attached on the ice.  They are very solid and well built.

  I've seen 2 WD briquettes with the Green circuit board, and each of them has had this additional projection that interferes with my Intel SSD to slip in the correct position.  You can see in the pictures that "bottom basket' of the SSD Intel a flower metal where the hard drive has a"container"recessed in the same region to take account of this protrusion.

  I stumbled on what is probably a common problem and thought that some of super nerds here might have fun with this question:

  take a (ascending) table of arbitrary values... that is to say {1,2,3,5,8,12,16}

  now for any desired value, return a subset of table of values that SUM to the desired value. Elements can only be used once, obviously there are several solutions. As for the table above 8 would have 2 solutions: {3,5} or {8}.

  My particular problem was not as arbitrary, so I was able to use a combination of thresholding and number to Boolean matrix to determine the value.

  My instinct tells me to nested loops would work but messy, maybe a form any recursion could be better, or is there a way to solve this problem with a linear system.

  I guess a solution like this: put the element next to the table in the 'bag', as well as the index of this item. Then, you have three options:

  -The sum of the cover is lower than the target. If so, increment the index table and repeat.

  -The sum of the cover is equal to the goal. Add to the list of solutions, empty the bag, add to the index of the first element that was in the bag and repeat.

  -The sum is greater than the objective. Remove the most recently added element, increment the index and repeat. If at the end of the list, remove the item next-most recently-added, increment its index and repeat.

  It is expected all behavior.  Use XML, as all VBScript DataPlugins, runs in a separate VBScript host of the DIAdem VBScript host.  DIAdem VBScript host adds all global variables green and Red controls global to host Microsoft VBScript standard.  Use VBScript host has its own special abilities (file object, root object), but there is NO access to Globals green or red blanket orders in the reception of DIAdem VBScript.  Your SUDialog runs in a third host VBScript, which is separated from the other two and the other two are not capabilities (command SUDialog callback functions), but the SUDialog VBScript host and VBScript tiara share all global variables green and Red orders overall.

  Normally all blue VBScript commands are allowed in all 3 VBScripts hosts, but in the case of the DataPlugins MsgBox and InputBox functions were especially restrained because the dialogues could cause a lot of trouble with the DataFinder.  In fact, they have been allowed to 9.1 tiara which was the latest version of tiara for the DataFinder appear.

• NOR-6289 DAQ latency for the generation of digital signals

  What I want to achieve is less than 1 second latency between the update of several digital waveforms and see these values appear on the digital output pins.  For example if I have 16 digital output channels in my task and I am writing 127 samples for each channel at a rate of 1 every 10 ms sample, then I update the waveforms in Labview that are sent to each channel, I do not see the new values on the pins of the output for about 21 seconds.  FIFO size onboard for the 6289 is 2 047 samples.  At this point, I guess this latency is unconstitutional by the FIFO on board - but I could be wrong.

  If the FIFO on board is shared by all channels in a task, a sample of each waveform is generated to the output every 10 ms, then I would expect latency (2 047 samples/16 channels) * 10 ms/sample = 1.27 seconds.  However, I still see latency of approximately 21 seconds. Is there something fundamental about the FIFO on board I'm misunderstanding? Or is there something going on in the PC buffer which adds this latency?

  I enclose my VI for reference. NOTE: The attached VI only has 2 channels for simplicity again it shows the same latency as the example on channel 16. I had a loop analog acquisition as well to monitor outputs from the digital PIN.

  The FIFO is not per channel, each line is a little and FIFO stores all of port 0 as a single sample (the lines that are not used in your job are hidden and not updated).  If your sample of 2047 THAT FIFO clocked @ 100 Hz will take roughly 20,47 seconds to build completely.  There is also a FIFO in the software (the size of it is configurable) which stores data before their transfer to the device.  The pilot will always try to keep the complete material if there are data to generate, FIFO which is good to prevent cost overruns but bad for latency.

  If I have LabVIEW 2013, I have not installed on this PC and so I can't watch your VI.  I'll try to give some suggestions anyway...

  One way around this problem is to use non-regeneration (not sure if you're already or not) and to limit the speed at which you write to your task so that the FIFO is never complete (once the data is written to the device, you cannot remove it from the FIFO).  To limit the write speed, try to look at Total "samples per channel has generated" (I think it updates quite frequently on the useful USB devices) from the "current write Position.  Both are DAQmx writing properties.  Only write data to the task when the difference is less than a threshold.

  You might consider the inverse would be output just at a faster pace with duplicate data.  For example, [1, 0, 1, 0] @ 100 Hz = [1, 1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 0, 0] at 200 Hz.

  I recently bought this laptop with the intention to replace the hard drive (1 TB HDD 120 GB SSD), as well as upgrading the ram from 8 GB to 16 GB. The problem is that I have improved these things before you start for the first time. And now it complains that it cannot find a device boot, even when I insert a USB key with windows 10 iso on it.   That's very true, I used gparted before checking this again, and it was corrupted. Very well! I ended up installing windows 10 home using a free student license. It's perfect, since I have windows 8.1 before running on the 1 TB hard drive and it was filled with bloatware, thanks to HP (no offense). So, it is nice to have a clean install. Everything works fine now, I had to change some settings of 'Legacy Boot' in the bios to boot from the USB.

• E3000 with the same problems on & more here, but no expert solution for the 2 main problems

  

  1 - with regard to support USB connected hard drives that will not transfer data & like to come & go quite often of the view.

  Everything seems like a joke to me, when I read that a lot of people have hard drives USB who worked for a year, & when it stops working or acts upward, we all have a test to see if it connects & works very well on our other connections PC/Laptop & the only advice given, this firmware is upgraded or a list of hard drives that have been tested and work on the E3000.

  2nd - my other problem is that my E3000 now decides of its own to disconnect wireless & cable Communication and then reconnect alone, whenever you feel.

  What makes angry of this problem is that it is abundant in the Forums & I tried all the fixes, but I still have the same problem & sound as good as this device of 2 year, Max is grilled.  As is the case when there is a loose connection that overheated, in what thread or welded metal move when heat is added & move at the time where the heat is removed.

  PROBLEM:

  My touch 1 Maxtor (from the approved list) is connected and playing now you see me & now you don't game.  If I ever try to import or to export any image file or music, the Communication goes & then sometimes will return its own. Working with Game Consoles, when something begins to work intermittently, then it is a hardware problem or software with the device.  It is not a user error, when it worked fine before.

  I am now a HAPPY 'Belkin N600 DB' owner for only $79.99 @ Wal-Mart/Radio Shack. This new does much more than the Cisco E3000 wireless router & even changed my Modem 100 MB (green) flow out of 1000 GB (Amber Light).
