weird characters % special html

I need to use a % sign in my body text of paragraph, but the characters special html has two zeros on the bottom which looks weird.  How can I get a percent sign which seems normal?

You don't need special characters.

Just type on your keyboard.

  • Special characters in HTML, E10

Hi, before I search it or open a case of taking charge, I thought I'd ask you nice smart people.

We try to download HTML in Chinese and Portuguese in E10. It comes out gibberish. In E9, allows us to select the "International Language Support (UTF - 8, Unicode)" option when the download, but I do not see where this possibility exists in E10. "

If anyone else has experienced this? We save the bad HTML? Are we mad? Should we just use the new editor of fantasy?

    Thank you!

    Hi Stacey,

Eloqua 10, this option will be on the email itself, rather than during the download Assistant. You can find it under the gear icon - settings, and there will be a drop down option for text encoding.

However, it also seems that your source file is unable to be correctly saved in the UTF-8 format when it is created. Depending on the program that you use to create the file, it may or may not be an option to select the text encoding to record. If there is, choose UTF-8 here should eliminate the problem, as in Eloqua the default encoding is UTF-8. If it is not the case, you can also have your web team try to open the html file in Notepad and save again. The notebook will give you the option to set text encoding, so that you can select UTF - 8 even if your source program (dreamweaver, frontpage, etc.) does not offer this option.

If this does not solve the problem, please open a case with the support and provide the file, and we can certainly take a look at what may be the problem.

  • Characters special keyboard

    Hi all

I recently bought an end of 2013 mac book pro and I'm having a particular problem. When I hold shift and numbers on the top row, the wrong characters are displayed. Now, I know most of you my point to the keyboard input source, or preferred language options, but I tried several times already. In addition, I tried a new install of OSX and still, the same things happen.

Making it a little more annoying, is that my keyboard works fine in my VM Win7 on Fusion 8 on the MBP even. Weird right? Although these conditions lead me to believe it's a software problem of some sort.

Any assistance anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.

  • characters special d005tu

    Hello

I own HP D005TU. I am facing a lot of trouble with special characters, especially the one on the line number on the keyboard (such as!, @ etc...). Most of the time as the characters don't is just typed. Need an urgent solution to this. Help, please.

    Hello Arundhati,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I understand that the special characters along the top of your keyboard do not respond. You can me if nothing gets typed, or if instead of one!, @, #, $, %, filled it with 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc...

If this is the case have you noticed problems with typing the capitol letters? This could indicate a problem with your shift key.

If nothing is typed, try this:

    1. Press Windows + X keys
    2. Click on Control Panel
    3. Click on clock, language and region
    4. Click on the region and language
    5. Click the keyboards and languages tab
    6. Click on change keyboards...
    7. On the general tab, make sure that English (United States) - U.S. is selected in the default input language field.
    8. Click any other keyboards in the list of installed services
    9. Click on delete
    10. Repeat for all other non-English (United States) keyboards.

Let me know if it helps!

  • HP Office jet 4635: help! Characters special keyboard

Help! I just moved and trying to setup a wireless printer to print from my phone/tablet, but the password for my new wi - fi contains these special characters: +,?, =. My keyboard does not display these options for enter the password so I can't connect. How to enter or may enter a password that contain these special characters?

    Hey @KristenMC,

I understand that you have some problems with your Officejet 4635 e-all-in-one printer connection to your new router. I can help you with that.

Special characters are located on the Star (*) and pound (#) key. If you press one of these keys they will scroll many special characters. If you make a mistake, then you can press the buttons arrow to go back a back space.

Please let me know if you have any other questions. If not, have a great day!

  • Help... Regular expression for characters [special] /: ^ & * () @# $

Regular expression to parse the string in square brackets:
I am trying to parse a string in square brackets, but as [] are special characters used in regular expressions to start a character class, I want to remove its special meaning. This regular expression **_user=[a-zA-Z]*@[a-zA-Z]{2}+.abc.com_** works for the analysis of [email protected]* but I want to analyze _user = [[email protected]] _ *, I use the term regular *user=\[[a-zA-Z]*@[a-zA-Z]{2}+.abc.com\]*_* but is in error because it makes special sense of character class. I tried to use \ backslash before *------[]] * but it not working giving error * "INVALID ESCAPE SEQUENCE."

    [JAVA CODE: user = "user=\[[a-zA-Z]*@[a-zA-Z]{2}+.abc.com\"];
    Pat pattern is Pattern.compile (user);.
    Carpet to match = pat.matcher ("2011-03-11 02:08:44, 653: User = [[email protected]], Doing report: account.server.regprocmemunix.daily");
    If (mat.find ()) {}
    User1 = mat.group ();
    }
This room code gives error _ _ "SEQUENCE EXHAUST" INVALID and throw a PatternSyntaxException*.

Please help me parse the string within large brackets [].

You realize that, although ' [' is a special character in a regular expression, ' \' is a special character in Java, right?] You also need to escape to the ' \'.

So, if you want to use ' [' in your regular expression, you must use something in the sense of]

  • Unable to paste characters special unicode

I can't paste special characters of the unicode character map in Photoshop.  The font is Myriad Pro.  I copy the special characters in the character map, but when I try to paste it into a field of text PS I just get a box with an X through it.  The special character is U + 2756 (Black Diamond less white X).

I tried the 32 bit version (also installed), but got exactly the same result.  As far as I know Photoshop supports unicode.  What's wrong?

    Photoshop CS5 Extended

    Windows 7 64 bit

All references and each police app I've tried said that Myriad Pro does not contain this glyph.

Sorry, but it seems that the table of characters may be relying on font substitution.

  • MS Natural wireless keyboards - weird characters/actions on the keys

I have three sets of mouse and the MS Optical Desktop Pro keyboard, and two of them are doing strange things.

The label situated under indicates "WUR0385" and the Microsoft reference number X 09-55569.

One of them generates spontaneously and intermittently 2222222222222222.  Can I leave a window open and focused notebook, and some time after it will be full of 2 s. tried to disassemble and clean the contact sheets, no improvement.

Other product actions and combinations of strange characters when you press some keys.  For example:

number zero (first row) often is 0.

Letter 'p' prints the letter as well as a carriage return and opens an Internet Explorer window

a semicolon causes a 'My Documents' window to open it and try to connect to Windows Messenger

a slash (/) print often / + and opens the calculator

Shift-slash print? + and opens Media Player

A bar of volume will appear in double quotes.

The batteries are charged, and the receiver is about two inches from the keyboard.

Can anyone offer a solution to these problems?

    Hi Techineer54,

    • When was the last time it was working fine?

    Method 1

I suggest to use the keyboard of the screen and check if the problem persists.

Open and customize the Visual keyboard

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-XP/Help/on-screen-keyboard

    Method 2

You can also connect two keyboards on another computer and see if the problem still occurs.

  • Language displayed as squares/weird characters

My files in different languages (Chinese, Japanese, etc) make their appearance as:
    Oaooeeocuuºaouaeþiiouaþ® ¦ou ©
    µ £Eou 'Þneoee '.
    or just squares
The characters work when I surf the net, but not when they are names of files
I don't want to change my language for the system, I just want to be able to read the names of files
    I have windows 7 ult 64 bit
    Thank you

    Navigate to the following location:

    C:\Windows\System32
Find the file FNTCACHE.dat. Delete and restart the PC. Now, the problem will be solved.
But this isn't the final solution. Monitor for a few days. If you find the same question that appears once again, this means that the user profile is damaged. In this case, create a new administrator account, copy the files to the new account, and delete the existing account.
  • SOA file adapter - written weird characters then more nothing

    Hello

I try to have a simple process using a file adapter to a file on my desktop. Just using a mediator to make the transformation.  When I make the first test, it will create a file but with only 3 strange characters and if I test again, errors in Server with a connection error and the only way I can get to even file a new file is to reboot the server.

    Any ideas?

You have set the opaque schema, which means that you must pass the Base64encoded string to the file adapter. But you're the real entrance.

Interface adapter file will assume, you pass a value encoded, it will decode and write the file. That's why you see unwanted characters.

Please google "SOA Base64Encoding" for certain items that shows the steps to do this.

Please google "SOA generate the CSV file" for certain items that will show the steps to create the file delimited by commas.

  • Problem with characters special keyboard HP Pavilion DV6-3004TU

I use a HP Pavilion DV6-3004TU laptop. I just got my Windows 7 Professional installed. When I @ using shift + 2 it shows "(quotes). It is vice versa as well, that is to say, when I type "using Shift ' it displays symbol @." So, I have problem with the hash symbol type. When I hit Shift 3 it shows £ instead of hash symbol. This is a new laptop and I use an external USB keyboard as well for my comfort. This problem is encountered in two keyboards (computer keyboard and keyboard) as well. What should I do now? It became a literal characters, which makes most of the difficult time. Kindly help

It sounds like the problem of keyboard layout... It seems that your keyboard is set to English UK... to check...

To check this, click Start, type intl.cpl in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. On the keyboards and languages tab, click Change keyboards.

You should see 2 inputs English (United States) and English (United Kingdom). If true, remove English (United Kingdom). Who should take care of it...
