Weisses triangle in Clip / white triangle in clip

Hey,.

Danke fur eure Antworten.

Only way to fix this is to adjust the first clips: clips have handles in order to apply transitions.

You can do this in the timeline using the adjustment ripple tool.

  • Clipping white/black in bulk

I like to use the shift + double click to adjust white and black clipping. I think that it gives better results than the function of automatic signal. Is there a way to do this in bulk instead of having to manually set each photo?

    Hi Florence.

Is there a way to do this in bulk instead of having to manually set each photo

All images have different results of clipping, currently, you can not adjust these settings.

I think that you already have the right technique. You can see How to set the tone of the image and colors in Lightroom

You could auto tone in the library module, and then hold SHIFT and click double-click exposure, contrast, point, highlight and shadows to get back them to 0.

    Kind regards

  • Can't do a black and white film clip

I downloaded a video clip in Adobe Premiere Elements. I would like to make it's black and white, but the option is not listed under "effects applied. It does not black and white with a few previous sequences located on the same file.

    Adobe question.jpg

Click the effects along the lower part of the program and select the effect of black-and-white film.

In the meantime, if you need help with the basics of the program, I recommend that you check out my basic training tutorial free 8 part series.

  • Is it possible to use a black and white video clip as a mask?

It's kind of a strange question, so I hope I can explain it well enough.

I made a black and white video clip in a 3D program to act as a mask for the correction of an area specific during the animation of the colors (rather than make many separate images and load each as a channel for each frame of the real animation). Is it possible to use video in Photoshop as you would with an alpha channel, or should it be done in After Effects?

If she need After Effects, might well want to just point me in the right direction with regard to the basic steps required it? I'm not too familiar with After Effects, and I have not yet used its masking or monitoring functions.

Thank you very much in advance for any advice.

I think that I figured it, it cannot be done in Photoshop (correct me if I'm wrong well), but is easily done with a Luma mask in After Effects.

    Thank you.

  • White Outline on outside the clipping of images pathed in InDesign

    Hello. I'm on a PC using CS6.

I've created a few clipping paths in Photoshop on a bunch of images and most of them have a white outline (even in the overprint preview) shown in InDesign.

I thought I have me making sure not to be too close to the border in order to not get this white outline. I created paths by using the tool palette and the path of pen.

Please take a look at the screen captures below and I was wondering if anyone has this problem or if something escapes me completely.

As you can see in this photo the white contours are around the box and especially the chocolate pieces. This is a page of InDesign.

This same image below appears in Photoshop with a black rectangle placed behind it and I do not see the white outline. The sketch is in the PDF file too when exporting, so I don't know what to do and I'm worried it will print that way. Never had this problem before...

    Next to the other answers:

Softens the edges look more naturally, said, use without cutting paths, would use the alpha transparency (masks, layers with transparency, etc.).

Place the file as a Photoshop PDF or PSD layers in InDesign. Results would improve.

When it is over an unselected path or shape (as in, something that you can select if you click right here), it shows a black box. When you're not selected anchor, it shows a white box.

  • Clipping Mask/white strips

OK I find better to explain/ask as an example.

First of all, I use a clipping mask to make a diamond shape. (as below)

    1.JPG

Then, to add depth, I use the same base filled with a gradient/shadow form. I use the alignment tools to make them perfectly above the other.

    2.JPG

But here's the problem, as you can see in the end on the right that it leaves little white stripes. Everyone can't see what I am doing wrong to find it? or how can I approach it differently to didn't get it.

    simsallabim,

You can avoid the problem by doing everything in a single step using an opacity mask.

If you create the clip with a black/gray/white fill and no line shape, you can just:

Click in the transparency palette flyout to make new mask with ticked Clip and invert the mask checked or unchecked, depending on how you use the color range of the clip shape to define the reducer of the underlying object.

  • White and black clipping

Please can someone tell me what number would mean that I have at least a pure black pixel and at least a pure white pixel...? I realized that 0.01% does not work... But 1 give the impression that it is left on top... I want to go until I get to cutting, but no more. What number would provide it?

    image.jpg

If they are RAW files, then it is better to set black and white points in ACR.  If you Shift open the RAW file converted to open as a smart object, these settings are non-destructive and can be changed.

Black and white point setting by the numbers in Photoshop is risky, because none of the two images are the same.  You can block the noisy shadows, or ignore the specular and set the white point on a more significant part of the image.  So if you really want to settle these points within Photoshop, a better approach might be to use a levels adjustment layer and hold the key of the Alp (Opt) while dragging the black and white sliders.  This puts the image threshold mode, so you can see exactly which parts of the image are clipped, and channels, or combination of channels are to be cut.

But using the ACR is a no-brainer.  You have the number of complete image bits to play with to start.
