What about Flash Player 'Next '?

I saw the Flash Player Flash player 13 12 jump and I thout it's time 'next '.

But I've not seen anything like that.

When Flash play "Next" beta is ariving?

As others have said, Adobe has chosen to continue to improve the current Flash runtime architecture. Flash ActionScript and player "Next" "Next", as they were known, is more expected.

To learn more about the most recent plans, I recommend you take a look at the roadmap for Adobe for the Flash execution environments. It includes an explanation of the decision to Adobe about 'Next', and it's a little information on releases planned until early 2014. I assumed that this document will soon be updated to include information on the further development planned for later in the year, so stayed tuned.

  • A question of both parties about Flash player and Firefox plugin.

Things have gotten worse. I'm unable to reset Firefox because at the time when I go to tools > (etc.) reset Firefox, it crashes.

None of the Flash help I received from Adobe and Mozilla is useful.

Finally, I uninstalled Firefox completely and on a whim, thought I'd install Seamonkey. She runs... But will not play ANY Flash. The plug in case of accident, as soon as I try to access any Flash website.

I use Chrome without difficulty. I can use IE without difficulty. So, guess what? Firefox is out until someone can fix the problem. I am convinced that Firefox can't handle any software if Macromedia, Adobe, Shockwave Flash or any other part of it. This is totally unacceptable.

The way I see it, I need to go back to an older version of Firefox AND Flash player. Once I can do I think they work together because none of this happened until the most recent version has been installed.

Where can I find all the old versions of Firefox? And I will have difficulties in their installation.

Like I said before, I'm a long-time Firefox fan. It comes, he tries my patience just to make it work again when you people do an upgrade. The problem involves ALWAYS Flash form any.

  • Question about Flash PLayer updates

    Hello

I run a network of very small size for my office and recently, I noticed that the flash players that are installed on end user machines are not up-to-date. I think it's because they don't have local administrative privileges on their computers. I don't want to give them just local administrator rights update the flash player, so I wonder if there is an easier way to manage the updates that must be installed on the flash drives.

Our network consists of some Windows Server 2003 with Windows XP isntalled on all the client machines.

    Thanks in advance.

The 'official' way to do under the free Flash Player Distribution License:

    http://www.Adobe.com/licensing/

Which will give you an EXE, you can simply paste on each machine (or a MSI file).

  • Popups after upgrading Flash Player

The following screenshots are examples of pop ups I get after "redevelopment" Flash Player.  In addition, due to virus alert, I installed MacKeeper, but did not buy it.  I decided I didn't want it and followed a tutorial on Mac world to get rid of it.  I followed the instructions and I think I have all traces of outside.  But I don't know what to do about Flash Player.  Get rid of it to stop pop-ups?  Is it wise to get rid of the FP?  That could be used in its place for a music or video player?  I've updated before without incident, but this page does not look right to me.  I should go with my gut.  Look at the screenshot and tell me if this is an attempt to false.  The last time I had a situation similar (years) I took my computer to the Apple store and they told me that it was very good - no virus detected.  So I'm not too worried at this stage only.  But is there a program that I can trust that I can run if I feel the need?

    Thank you.

    1. click here and follow the instructions, or if you do not delete rather manually the adware, launches MalwareBytes for Mac.

    2. it depends on what Web sites you use.

    3. If you need it, see #2.

MalwareBytes simplifies the process of removal of adware, but does not stop it or other malware from entering the computer. It should not be invoked to prevent future incidents; Instead, avoid downloading software from sources other than the Mac App Store or Developer Web sites. Flash should be downloaded in get.adobe.com, helpx.adobe.com or the Flash Player preferences system. do not accept the pop-up windows asking to install it.

  • Flash Player on the new Android Tablet

Hey Adobe. My company bought several new android tablets. I have always supported android, mainly because Flash player does not seem to work on Ipads and tastes. I was therefore greatly appalled to discover that I am not able to use Flash Player on my Tablet again. Now I've even heard rumors about Flash Player is only not available on Android devices. What? • Not sure I have the correct version of Flash Player

My version of Flash Player, depending on the version test on adobe.com is WIN 10,0,45,2

at first glance, this seems to be in order. but looking more closely, I realized that the separation factors are commas, not periods. Therefore, I should have 10.0.45.2

Then why have I not commas? Is it still important? I'm not a computer WHIZ, but I'm aware that even a tiny difference like commas instead of periods can wreak large havoc. I uninstalled and reinstalled several times.

I am on Windows XP, 32-wholesale, currently using google chrome. also have IE 8 and the last FF installed on my computer. Flash works on some sites, like Youtube, but not on other sites, such as some games that I play on Facebook. A little frustrated. I had this problem once, but now it does not work yet. Thank you for your help :-)

Hi greenie, imagine my surprise to see you! The commas don't mean anything about Flash Player, it's just a thing of Adobe. In this case, the numbers are the important factors and your numbers are correct :-)

Facebook and games are problems that I work with a couple of other users on this thread. I do not know

what game or games, you have problems with, but Zynga is a. The user has been in contact with them, but their

response is not satisfactory in my opinion. You can read the latest two posts on this thread:

http://forums.Adobe.com/thread/598309?start=50&TSTART=0 you do not have to read the entire thread, start at post #50.

Do not assume that the problem is your computer, if the game does not support FP vs 10.0.45.2 and who have also another question, then there is not everything that you can do your part.

    Let me know.

  • Latest version of Adobe Flash Player is not compatible with our android tablet - can I install an earlier version of AFP that works?

    Hello...

    .. .and please read this:

We have a Nextbook Premium8 tablet that is the two-year sentence. We had to reset to factory settings and in doing so lost our Adobe Flash payer application. Trying to re - install AFP, we received a message that our wan tablet is not compatible with the latest version of the AFP.

Is there an earlier version, archived AFP who will work with our tablet, and if so, what version - Flash Player 11.1 for Android 4.0 (11.1.115.81) September 10, 2013, perhaps??

It seems almost unbelievable that our tablet should be this obsolete for use with Adobe Flash Player after a period as short as two years.

    Thank you once again,

    Robert Lucas

It's not you, it's us.  We no longer Flash Player for Android.

The last working version released for Android is missing a year and a half updates security at this point, so I would strongly recommend against running to it.

The details on why Adobe dropped support for Android are here, but yes, we have not published an Android Flash Player since the end of 2012.

I don't get the "control ActiveX of Flash Player cannot be saved" when I try to install 11 on IE9 (Windows 7 64-bit).  I tried everything that was suggested in other posts and forums without success.  It's driving me crazy and prevent me from working.  Can someone please?  Thank you!

I've just had this problem and have been in charge of research and looking for a way to solve this problem. I have a 64 bit Windows 7 system and this was happening with IE 9. But I found the solution.

Go to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/494/cpsid_49419.html and follow these instructions. It worked for my system and I was able to install albums the newest flash without any problems.

    • Make sure that you are connected to a Windows administrator account. If you're not, you will not be able to use SubInACL.
    • Follow the installation instructions. Make sure you only install SubInACL (subinacl.exe) to the directory C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools.
    • Open the fp10.zip file and extract the reset_fp10.cmd file to the directory C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\.
This file and SubInACL (subinacl.exe) must be in this directory.
    • Double-click reset_fp10.cmd. A command window will open and SubInACL will run.
Do not use the machine while SubInACL is running.
    • After SubInACL is completed, you will see a prompt "Press any key to continue".
    • To verify that your installation was successful, see the about Flash Player page. At the top of the screen, you should see a message that says "Adobe Flash Player successfully installed."
  • Flash Player 10.1 does not work in Firefox, works in Internet Explorer

I use firefox, but every time I go to watch a video, I get this error message: video currently unavailable.

I tried to use IE and downloaded the flash player and I can watch the videos in Internet Explorer, however, I use FF.

Can anyone help? I tried all the suggestions on this forum and reinstalled Flash player repeatedly. I have run windows

    Vista Basic on a 32-bit.

    Thank you for your time,

Hi, did you mean you installed FF 3.6.3? The 3.6.4 had problems with FP10.1 and it's one of the reasons FF updated their browser to 3.6.6 but it has problems as well. If some users have been going back to FF vs 3.6.3 and it worked well.

If you do not have these problems with Flash Player 10.0.45.2, then you can consider 10.1 uninstall and installation of the previous version. Either that or installation of Safari and see if that helps. I think just to install the browser Safari would be much less of a problem since you have all Flash files for her. You wouldn't need to worry about Flash Player.

Since you do not have Java and can not need, however you don't have the Javascript Language. You want to make sure you have that?

    Let me know.

    Thank you

  • Latest flash player installation fails in IE8/Win XP

I tried to install the latest version of Flash Player on my XP system for two days. Here is my system info:

Win = 32-bit Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 3

Browser = Internet Explorer Version 8.0.6001.18702

Flash Player - one I used (recent but not a beta) has been uninstalled when I tried to install your latest version on your site in the usual way. After a few attempts to install, I downloaded and executed the Player uninstall program according to the instructions found on your site - Adobe® Flash® Player 10.1 software installation/uninstallation r53 - just to make sure I was doing a clean install. I also downloaded the latest version and it ran manually.

All attempts to install failed. I saw two different installers, BTW, and all two reported a failure but a reason and suggested to your troubleshooting page.

I went to the troubleshooting page, where I've tried everything, by the book.

More recent attempts produced the following message appears when you try to install on your site:

"The version of adobe flash player ActiveX that you are trying to install is not the most recent version. Please visit http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer_fr for the latest and most secure version. »

I went to this page, again without success. There is no Flash x components listed in my active browser objects.

I managed to install the latest version of the Shockwave Player (I tried, just to see if that would fail, but who succeeded).

I must add that I work from web using Flash 8, so it's also on my system, but I've ever run into a problem installing a newer Flash Player up to now. (And I've been using Flash since before Macromedia, when it was called FutureSplash.)

    Obviously, HELP!

It almost made me. Countless installs / uninstalls, Poirier, etc later, I finally found a solution that worked for me:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/494/cpsid_49419.html

I hope this works for you, too!

A damaged Windows system registry or incorrect registry permissions settings may prevent you from installing Flash Player.

    Symptoms may include:

    • During installation, you see the error message "unable to install. For troubleshooting, please see: http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_19166. »
    • Your installation of Flash Player completes without error, but you cannot view Flash content in Internet Explorer.
    • Some sites tell you that you don't have the correct version of Flash Player, even if you have installed the latest version.
    • Some sites tell you to reinstall Flash Player, but after you do, you see the same message.

Permissions can be tricky, but in most cases, you can install and use Adobe Flash Player, if you are connected to a Windows administrator account. If you are unsure how to proceed, consult your system administrator or read the Windows documentation.

    System administrators

If you are a system administrator, see permissions for registry required to install Flash Player or update (TechNote tn_19148).

    Solution

Warning! By following the instructions below, you will modify the Windows system registry. A mistake could cause serious damage to the system, which may require you to reinstall your operating system.

If you are not comfortable editing the registry, get help from your system administrator or other COMPUTER professional.

If you choose to proceed, first back up your entire hard drive, and create a Windows System Restore Point.

    3. Follow the installation instructions. Make sure you only install SubInACL (subinacl.exe) to the directory C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools.
    4. Download the reset_fp10.zip file.
    5. Open the fp10.zip file and extract the reset_fp10.cmd file to the directory C:\Program Files\Windows Resource Kits\Tools\. Note that this file and SubInACL (subinacl.exe) must be in this directory.
    6. Double-click reset_fp10.cmd. A command window will open and SubInACL will run.
    7. Do not use the machine while SubInACL is running.
    8. After SubInACL is completed, you will see a prompt "Press any key to continue".

  • Flash player vs flash Plugin

I'm being diligent to keep all my Adobe products to date.  Flash is expected online but I do not understand what the flash player is against the plugin.  I have several computers that have both installed and want to make sure that everything is on the current version.  So my questions are:

#1. What is the difference between the player and the plugin?

#2. When I go on the site of Adobe and flash update it only updates the flash player, not the plugin.  Where is the update the plugin to make it current?

#3. Is the plugin required even if the flash player is installed?

Thanks for the input in advance.

    BD

Hi BD, The Flash Player term applies to all supported browsers. If you see the Flash Player ActiveX in your add/remove or programs and features, this indicates that you have installed in Internet Explorer. If you see Flash Player plugin listed there, it indicates that you have installed in Firefox, Chrome or any other browser supported.

IE Add ons, there is also the Shockwave Flash Object ActiveX control that works with the Flash files for IE that have been installed and it must be enabled.

In the FF or other browsers, one would find the SWF vs 10.0.45.2 (latest version) listed and it must be enabled. This is the plug-in, and yes it is necessary.

When install Flash Player, you need to use IE and install for that browser. Then, if you would like Flash Player installed for Firefox or another browser, then use this browser and install Flash Player for all non - IE browsers.

The link for non - IE browsers is here that you download to your desktop:

    http://fpdownload.Macromedia.com/Get/flashplayer/Current/install_flash_player.exe

    Hope this helps to explain.
