  Yes, you can do this, please follow the steps.

  Uninstall the existing version for Photoshop

  Then use the Adobe CC cleaning tool to remove files left link: http://download.macromedia.com/SupportTools/Cleaner/mac/AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg

  Restart the system

  Follow the link and download Photoshop CS6: applications download Creative Suite 6

  Enter the serial number to activate it.

  I recently installed Photoshop CS5 on my Mac OS X because CC tends to run slowly.

  I use Photoshop primarily to make GIFs (Tumblr).

  However, when I try to import video frames to layers, video MP4 are grayed out. AVI videos are not, but the screen is blank when I try to import those, and the layers are black. The only way to "solve" this question is if I change the extension on a MP4 file to AVI. so I can import video frames to layers. But I don't want to have to do this for all of the videos that I want to use, and there must be a better solution.

  I have been through a lot of sons of people having the same problem, so a few quick things:

  • I have Quicktime installed and updated. This isn't the issue.
  • I have the extended version, not the issue or the other.
  • I went from 64 bit to 32 bit (because the import of video images on layers is apparently not possible at all on 64-bit), so this isn't the problem
  • Some people have said to change to "all file types", but as you can see in the screenshot as, I don't have this option

  Back to a system restore point previous fixed the problem and I could again play the files in Media Player, but during the night that Windows updates installed and the morning I could not play these .mp4 files once more. So I restored to a point earlier, changed my updates so that they are is more automatic and by installing each day at a time, I finally isolated the problem in Internet Explorer 10. If I install that, just Windows Media Player will not play these files.
  I tried a manual update of Internet Explorer 10, turn off all the options of toolbars shit and everything, thinking that when it automatically installs those who may be included, but that has not helped. Had to go back to my previous IE10 restore point. So no matter what, Internet Explorer 10 kills my ability to play .mp4 on Windows Media Player files.
  I don't have toolbars running on IE9 at all.
  I know that's obvious answer is 'do not install Internet Explorer 10' or if I do, download another player for .mp4 files. But the fact is, it shouldn't happen, it is indicative of something being wrong, and I would like TO be able to install Internet Explorer 10 AND use Windows Media Player to play these files. If someone else has had this problem, or know a way to fix it?

  I tried myself after experiencing the same problem and error code. I uninstalled the KB2670838 update, and then my Windows Media Player finally worked again. I also found that IE 10 must be uninstalled as well. Installation of IE 10 also automatically installs the update of KB2670838 platform. After uninstalling KB2670838, IE 10 automatically uninstall with it, better you hide two updates so that they do not install again. From the link in the previous post, I learned that the platform update is having problems of conflict with the AMD drivers. Good luck to you and hope this helps.

  I'm having a lot of problems with windows install does not and many others.
  Windows updates do not work either and I tried to correct those, but a clean reinstall of the operating system has been recommended.
  Now, at this point nothing will install because windows setup will not work.
  So I think I wil lhave to try a clean install, but I do know that the cd player works.

  I got a great run on this laptop, little slow today for my needs, but all very good product, purchased in 2007.
  With a clean OS and 4 GB of ram that could last for years, cannot afford a new right now.
  I really tried to avoid using a disc of recovery in the past, as I have never had problems until now.

  I m wondering why you get this disc with your laptop, why? Because I do not have the recovery disk, but I had to create one using the Toshiba recovery disc creator software
  But my laptop is more recent that your A210 might be the reason why you have this drive

  But I recommend you backup your personal data, because the recovery disk would format the whole HARD drive and you will lose the files.

  I think you will find that the answer to this question lies in your encoding, not in Flex.

  The VideoDisplay component plays FLV and H.264 files. Your video file should meet the MPEG4 specifications. If you have created a MP4 file using an Adobe product, it should work if you don't wander too far from the Adobe Media Encoder parameters, as trying to squeeze the size of the file down, too far. Flash player 9.0.115.0 or later must be used to view the H.264 video.

  When in doubt, use SOUL to create a short MP4 clip with the default settings (use something like '320 x 240 banner') and see if that plays out. If she plays, start going through all your encoding settings and see if put you something out-of-spec - like maybe the audio settings. Just use straight AAC for audio bitrate, 48 kHz, 192 Kbps. Video, use NTSC (fps shouldn't matter...) pixels progressive, square, 'main' profile, 'level' of 3. Change Bitrate CBR encoding (you're probably using high quality VBR, but just try).
  One of these parameters may trigger Flex upward. Just to experiment. If this does not work, send me more information on how you created the video file.
