  The service you are referring, ExportPDF, does not allow you to convert PDF files to PowerPoint. However, Adobe PDF Pack only.

  I am looking to buy Lenovo W520 because of the reputation of the Thinkpad. I usually do splurge on a computer and use it for almost 5 years before replacement. That said, I make sure that it will not be obsolete shortly after I get it (as an important product update a month or two later, I had this experience before and quite frankly, I was disappointed). I noticed that the W520 has been out for a while now and my question is - should I feel confident in buying the W520 this month, or should I expect to see something like a model W530 soon?

  Also, I don't need to wait for Windows 8, or whatever it is. I'm glad 7.

  I must say that W520 is a great phone if it works as the specification of the product described, however, in reality, there are a few issues that are not yet fully resolved yet. What worries me the most are:

  1 mode doesn't work is not "out of the box", in my case, I got stuck at a low frequency often under voltage AC and battery. No update BIOS to version 1.30 has solved this problem. However, I managed to solve the problem by restarting the laptop and other users were able to resolve this problem with some software tools, not a fundamental problem, but can still be annoying at times. You will certainly find on this problem in the various discussions in this forum.

  2. the risk of random stop: the laptop freezes and shuts down without error message or Disconnections, you can read about it more than a long thread with 38 pages. Of course, not all units has this problem, but it seems that the risk of executing in one of these units is very low. Lenovo should discuss this issue now, no solution have yet been posted.

  Personally, I think you should wait to see how to develop these issues and determine if solutions come out at Lenovo, otherwise, you might encounter some scenarios to deal with different types of media for Lenovo, which has not been a pleasant experience in my particular case, but of course, the individual experiences may vary.
