  1. have you installed the latest drivers for the hard disk, mentioned in the previous post?

  I suggest that you connect the hard drive to another computer to check if it is broken.

  Also check in Device Manager for the status of the hard drive.

  I noticed this problem because as I tried to save a text file as C: and he said something like "you do not have permission... may save in your documents instead?  And I thought, I'm the only user (and first account) on this laptop so I do not understand why I could not save a file of text darn under C:.

  Then I went to control panel, user accounts, and saw on the picture, it showed my icon with the label "administrator under."

  HOWEVER, as I clicked on change my account type to make sure that I was an administrator of the computer only a few interesting things / problems arises:

  (1) the user standard buble a dabble in... surprising and disconcerting because

  -I am the first user, I was able to install programs... do stuff admin... etc.

  -He showed administrator under my account on the previous page icon! Why he says that I am not the administrator more?

  (2) once I have bubbles in the bubble of the administrator button to change my account type is greyed out. Basically, I can't make me an administrator.

  I enabled the administrator account hidden and tried to change my account type it (from standard to administrator) and once again... the same problem.

  I know it's an old theread, but I came across the same issue yesterday, then I can save time for future users.

  Yes, THIS BEHAVIOR of A NORMAL meaning IS:

  -You cannot change the administrator if you already, you can change to the standard

  -You cannot change the standard if you are the only administrator.

  That's all. Just like a check - try to make yourself the sole administrator (you must hide the built-in Administrator account) and you will see that the bubble of the administrator is marked.

  For several weeks, I tried to update my programs since the CC Control Panel, but when I open the CC table it opens but shows not all programs. Please see this file that shows a WHITE Panel: http://magnetart.com/CCPanelBlank.jpg.

  I use Windows 8 on an HP laptop. Before today, I've updated my CC on 11 August 2013 and CC had worked before my problems in mid-December.  Here's what I've done so far:

  1. Downloaded the latest CreativeCloudSet file - Up.exe on 28/12/13; installed and still no show of the CC Control Panel programs
  2. sent an email to support CC (but received no reply)
  3. Today, I opened the CC table - and still no programs have shown
  4. uninstalled CC in my task manager
  5. downloaded and intsalled the last CreativeCloudSet - Up.exe today
  6. run the file CreativeCloudSet - Up.exe "again" and appeared to install, BUT at the opening of the CC Panel - I AI No. PROGRAMS ACCUSE AGAIN.

  My end of subscription in March - my renewal notice begins Jan. 24 - according to me, I need to get this problem resolved before renewing. My products will work after January 24? I have sent numerous emails to another area of support, but received no answers.

  It is interesting to note that I am successfully able to run the application on my Windows 8 HP PC CC. It shows all the intstalled apps and applications that are available for download.

  This issue has been resolved via the Adobe support Chat option!

  NOTE TO SELF: read the forum posts and try to solve the problem. When this does not work, use the Adobe Chat support. I just managed to solve the problem in less than 10 minutes.

• Saving as a single .html does not include the full web page (with images and properly formatted) as it did before! What happened here?

  First of all I must emphasize that I keep always up-to-date as soon as a new version of Firefox will appear.

  Now, a few months ago Firefox was able to save complete web pages as a single .htm file (including images and styles). Proof of this is that I have done it then. But now, after a few Firefox updates (sorry, but I can't identify exactly which of them might have been the one that messed up for me), while he was trying to exactly the same thing on the same website it is no longer possible. What happens is that now to choose the option 'Save the Web as HTML' (which I think is that I used to select before) it will not save the images and styles of web page, only the basic text and the home page anchors while he primarily save!

  I still have the old .htm files, I saved before (I can give them to you) and they work again properly on any PC (I tested), so it means that it is not a .htm file using the cache on my PC to render the images links to the file.

  I am aware that I can choose the 'Full page' option, but it creates a folder that I don't want to, so I'd rather have the old option to export the web page in a unique and properly shaped file that includes images!
