What happens in rehearsals so I delete a volume

I have a volume on my EqualLogic called HOSTA. I changed all the VMs that have been stored within their own respective volumes. HOSTA treated him also replicated offsite to another EqualLogic.

If I delete this volume, HOSTA, on the original EQL, replication will remain on the another EQL?

I would start to reproduce the new volumes and make them all over here until I have remove the HOSTA replications.  But, due to bandwidth restrictions, I will have both on the same switch to EQL and perform the initial synchronization. But before that, I would like to release unused space so that I can finish the same job with another volume, called HOSTB.  In this way, I can get all the initial replication completed on a single weekend.

Hello

If you remove the side volume source, it will remove the replicas.  You want to pause the replication for these volumes, then permanently to promote or to clone replica.  Then, it will remain until you remove them as any other volume.

Kind regards

Lightroom 2016 CC takes time L-O-N-G to load and remove the file .preview but reluctant until I hear it's 'safe'

    Hi lgray.carter,

If you delete the Previews.lrdata folder, Lightroom would be create automatically a new folder with the same as this folder contain previews of images in the Lightroom Catalog and it will recreate all previews.

If you're reluctant to delete, you can rename this file in previews-old and you will see a new file will be re-created automatically and you can delete the old one more later.

  • What happens when you insert/modify/delete a row in a table - concepts

I am trying to understand the below concepts regarding the internal concepts (for example, undo and redo)

    (1) what is happening in the database when you insert a row in a table?

    (2) what is happening in the database when you update a row in a table?

    (3) what is happening in the database when you remove one line in the table?

I have read the oracle documentation and mistook the redo and undo behavior. It would be great if someone explains the concept in a simple way.  I'm a novice programmer to understand database concepts. Any help would be much appreciated.

INSERTIONS and deletions are handled the same way.  The cancellation of an INSERT is a DELETE.   The cancellation of a REMOVAL is an INSERT.

Therefore, the generation 'Cancel' for INSERTION is less than that of a DELETION (because the cancellation of a DELETION is to reinsert the line - the value of each column in the row must be captured in the undo).

If restore you an INSERT, then Oracle executes effectively a DELETE tablename WHERE rowid =... rowid_that_was_inserted.  A cancellation for an INSERTION is 'rapid '.

If restore you a DELETION, then Oracle executes effectively an INSERT tablename values (col1, col2, coln).  The cancellation of a DELETION takes more time because Oracle would have to re-enter the values.

Remember that Oracle also captures the redo to undo it (and do it again for the price drop if you do a restore).

  • What happened to the ability to delete e-mails on your server once downloaded?

  • What happens to the system folders, when the volume is dismounted?

    Hi all
I'm having trbl with Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit on a laptop computer, which had its main drive partitioned into 3 different partitions: C for the OS, the D for my data and E for backup images.
Some of the 'system' (blue color), records such as: Documents, photos, downloads, etc have been moved from 'C' to 'd' too!

All 3 Partitions are NTFS volumes.   Partition "D" gives me wrong in what he tells me that he has problem with the master file table (MFT) and I shud run CHKDSK against it!  TRBL is then

I try to run it, it says:

CHKDSK D: /F cannot run because it is used by another process.  CHKDSK may run if this volume is dismounted first.  All handles to this volume would then be invalid.

You want to force a disassembly on this volume: Yes - No?

I took NOT because once again, when the disk has been partitioned, some of the 'system' (blue color), records such as: Documents, photos, downloads, etc have been moved from 'C' to

"D" and I fear that if I remove this volume it will remove or delete (if I reformat the partition), these files and I will not be able to use them more!
Also I don't really understand what it means to be "all the handles to this volume invalid?

I copied all my data on the partition "D" (for a portable HDD) and can run the chkdsk against her pgm or just reformat.  Can copy my data to him?
If I format, it will remove all the (blue) file system on it?   So how do they return to the "D" score for me to copy my data in?

Can you please help me in this case?

    Thanks a bunch!

    Sincerely, Cin

  • Do not specify the volume of traffic in SA, what happens?

I have fI do not specify a lifetime of security-association in kilobytes, but set a seconds, what is happening? According to this link http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/12_2t/12_2t15/feature/guide/ftsaidle.html , it says:

A security association ends after the first of these lives is reached.

What happens if I do not have a volume? I suppose that before they reached the default duration, he will negotiate HIS new and kick as the original timesout SA. I also assume that the end user would never know it resets. Advice please.

    Richard,

We do not advise to use seconds because the exiry factor, after kilobytes will probably cause a short gap in shipping.

With life expectancy of kilobyte disabled, we should wait for the life of seconds away from expiery and HIS new will be negotiated.

"crypto ipsec security association life kilobytes disa.

Indeed, we have by default for both.

But we will always renogotiate based on one that is reached first.

    That answer your question?

  • When I try to delete in bridge, nothing happens... nothing is deleted... what I do

When I try to delete in bridge, nothing happens... nothing is deleted... what I do

Usually when a file refuses to delete, this is a certain type of problem of permissions, the file or folder is defined on deny the change of file permission settings or

The file is used in another program and is therefore locked to prevent other applications from changing/deleting a file.

Right-click on the file and choose to display in the browser files of your operating system and tries to remove it from there. It can give a better error message if something is wrong.
