  My analysis of Virtual Center Consolidation ended on a server physical I analyze to put in VMware for these days.  I don't want a P2V it however, as it is a Windows 2000 SQL Server that I am about to rebuild from scratch as a Win2k3 x 64 + SQL 2005 x 64.  Then, without making the P2V process (I guess it will start when I proceed to 'Plan of Consolidation'), how can I find out what Virtual Center Consolidation is recommended for my new virtual machine?  I want to know if it recommends 2 vSMP processors and amount of memory.

  The generation of Consolidation software in vCenter is like a super scaled down version of VMware Capacity Planner, which is reserved for VMware partners.  This tool can give you more information on how to determine the capacity of the workload based on its current use.  You can use the performance monitor on the physical server to get an idea of the total use of the CPU, memory, disk, etc.  Unfortunately, you won't get these details with the generation Capacity Planner tool in vCenter.

  I know that data gets entries in < currency entity >. This can translate to currency of parent and other currenciesin the dimension value after execution of the translation.
  
  But if I need to see the consolidated data, elimination of post data and eliminated data (by IC as well as equity investment) what size value should be used?

  You could try my ConsolidateByMovingscript. What is the path to your new media folder? Ideally, it would be something like X:\iTunes\iTunes media short where X: is the letter to an external drive. See also make a library of portable split.

  I would like to use Windows update + service pack installation for example.

  VM with MS svr 2003 running... you can install SP1, and then test, can install updates to Windows, and then test.

  -snapshot 1 (sn1): Win2003 Updates & SP

  -Install of Win2003 SP1 (with reboot etc.)

  -snapshot 2 (sn2): Win 2003 SP1

  -Install Windows updates current on Win2003 SP1

  -snapshot 3 (sn3): Win 2003 SP1 with updates

After I changed that in my preferences, and loaded new iTunes all my music, it lacks now album covers. The ability to find album covers has disappeared. However the worst part: I just added music to my iTunes, I want to combine the tunes so it creates a folder with the songs and the album info in my iTunes library but the order disappeared.

• I consolidated my files and now iTunes can't find almost 200 songs in my library

  For a long time I have been adding new songs, I have download in a folder and then add the songs in the library iTunes via file-> add a file to the library and pointing to each new song. Last week, in order to make a backup of all my songs, in accordance with the recommendation of Apple, I gathered all my files in this folder (where there were songs in other folders I don't remember). However, even if the option "keep iTunes media folder organized (up files in folders of album and artist)" was NOT checked, it is exactly what makes iTunes: it began to place my files lost in the artist/album folders it consolidated.

  I cancelled the process when I realized what iTunes did, which would result in all hope, but that has not happened.   I suspect that iTunes has updated some of its references to point to the new locations that it would have copied files if you had not interrupted the process. See Re: files change media for advice on fixing systematically broken links. See make a split cell library for more information on the ideal organization to an iTunes library. Consolidation of copies any file outside the currently designated in the media folder and update iTunes so that it uses the new copy thereafter. Consolidated files are copied into the presentation standard of the artist and album folders that are also used for what it is torn, converted or downloaded with iTunes.
