      I think I've found the problem. My laptop is set to sleep after a set time. It's when it awakens that causes the problem. I have set the laptop to never sleep and I have tested it for 4 days and up to now it has worked flawlessly. Fingers crossed.

  I have a laptop HP, and since I bought it, it stops or restarts after anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour or two!  Once, he stopped or restarts and I get only about 30 minutes of use until it does it again!   try running ff as an administrator. in the start menu Firefox right click and click on run as administrator and let then in run. If not, uninstall it and see if that makes a difference. If it works install DiskKeeper of Condusiv Technologies. www.condusiv.com. get a trial of the professional version (NOT HOME). This program makes your computer faster by deleting unnecessary files that slow down your computer and it runs in the background. I recommend you buy it even if it's $64.then try and install FF.
