I had a problem pop up a lot in the last two days and it is the following: global\systemroot\system32\H8SRTgdnqksgnby.dll. What I need to know is, what exactly is this and can be removed safely?

    I think that another procedure also credit Xircal will work for your script, so I copy and paste it here.  This assumes that you have no subfolder named bits in the system32 folder

    Here are the steps to follow if you have qmgr.dll in C:\WINDOWS\system32

    1. Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32, right-click and select new | Folder
    2. Name bits (lower case) If you lose the highlight, click on new folder to select it again and then hit F2. Delete "new folder" and rename it to bits
    3. Open C:\WINDOWS\system32 still once, find qmgr.dll, right-click and choose copy from the menu.
    4. Open C:\WINDOWS\system32\bits and choose Paste. You should see qmgr.dll appear in the bits folder.
    5. Then, go to Start, run , and copy/paste: regsvr32 qmgr.dll and click OK (If you have run on the start menu, hit instead of key Windows + R)
    6. Do the same with this file: regsvr32 qmgrprxy.dll
    7. Restart the PC and then copy / paste this command into the field run:

    %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe setupapi, InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\inf\qmgr.inf
  • If you are prompted to insert the Windows installation CD, ignore this and in the dialog at the bottom where it says copy the files, change the path to C:\WINDOWS\system32
  • Restart the PC and then go to the Services and you should be able to see BITS in the list. Open the Services menu, go to start / run, copy and paste services.msc and click OK.
  • In the Background Intelligent Transfer Service BITS or is visible in the list, double-click it, and then click on the Start button. This step is just a test to make sure it works properly.
  • If you get 2 error: cannot find the specified file, click on start, then run again and copy / paste the following command, and then click OK:

    This problem may occur if the following conditions are met:

    • A Desktop.ini file exists in one or more of the following folders, where drive is the drive on which Windows is installed:

      • drive: \Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu Menu\Programs\Startup
      • drive: \Documents and Settings\All Users\Menu run\programs
      • drive: \Documents and Settings\All Users Menu

    Method 1: Delete the Desktop.ini file

    1. Start Windows Explorer.
    2. On the Tools menu, click Folder Options, and then click the view tab.

    I have a Dell Vostro 1500 running Windows XP Home edition.  During the Windows boot the system falls down and shows the error in the title above. I replaced and improved hard drive and modules memory live with Dell components and tried to launch the system to start disk.  Same result screen, blue with the unknown hard Error\Systemroot\System32\ntdll.dll STOP: 0000221.  Then new hardware configuration and system bootable drive equals the same result.  Any advice will be appreciated.

I think this would indicate that the original disk could have been the cause of the problem, but I tried to install the operating system with this drive just to be safe, and it worked. It should be noted that I did no changes to the machine until I tried the new disk, then retried first that I tried to use to reinstall the operating system. This suggests that, regardless of the problem, he don't has not been caused a constant problem.

    These comprehensive analyses can take some time, but you really need to run.  SAS will probably be just a bunch of Internet tracking cookies, but you can remove them.  Once you have done at least a full analysis, you can do quick scans in the future to save time and save the analyses complete for when you have more time or are really suspicious of an infection of the system.
