What is the best method to find the length of a series in xml format.

What is the preferred/better method to get the 'length' of a set of xml nodes? Currently I use a "for in" loop and using the value of variable end. This works very well, but seems inelegant, inefficient. Any opinions? suggestions?

Thank you

M.

Something like this:

public void xmlParser(myData:XML)
{

var listItems:XMLList = myData.listItem;

var len:int = listItems.length ();

creates two tables
for (var j: uint = 0; j <=> len; j ++) {}
masterArray [j] = listItems [j]
flexArray [j] = listItems [j]
}

addListeners();
listLoader (flexArray);
}

  • What is the possible purpose of these large audio formats?

    I learn more about the amount of data is actually necessary for high fidelity audio. For as far as I can see, the data files more high quality fit to be worked with and exported to Adobe Audition (CS6) are WAV - PCM and BWF - PCM files as described below:

    Format: Wave PCM (*.wav, *.bwf)

    Type of sample: 192000 Hz, 32-bit

    Bitrate: 24576 Kbps

    Format settings: wave non-compressed, Point 64-bit floating (IEEE)

    Markers and other metadata included

    Sizes of large file estimated, such as 6 min = 1 GB for audio stereo

    Multichannel audio available

    44.1 kHz to 192 Kbps (usually from 16 - bit) is usually the maximum level of audio fidelity. I prefer a minimum of 256 Kbps and 24-bit (32-bit if possible). What is the purpose of these complex audio file formats and?

    Forget speeds - they are irrelevant. You don't need to taste everything faster that 44.1 k because this rate will help you understand all the information present in the signal, up to about 22 kHz. Here's several kHz more than any adult hearing extends. Your ears have a dynamic range which is potentially greater than 16-bit signal, but not for a go. If you start to 0dB (using this as the threshold of hearing), then the subject + 85dB acoustic reflex mechanism kicks in and stops gradually the sensitivity, but allows you to hear sounds with higher levels without damage. But it desensitizes you at lower levels when this happens, then the offer 96dB a linear 16-bit system is more than enough - as has been widely demonstrated by research.

    The point of greater depths of bits has nothing to do with the hearing, but everything to do with the treatment. If you use the 32-bit floating-point system, you can manipulate the levels up and down and even save the results between the two without loss. It will not work with an entire system according to - you lose resolution to the point that save you if attenuate you your signal. With the floating-point system, you can whack it up and down without loss, because the changes are stored in the bits scaled, and data (24 bits) are unchanged.

    The history of all these extended formats is a bit creepy and based on a lot of misinformation propagated by people who should have better, but didn't. It was at this stage a technically sound reason, why some records of highest example sounded "better" - which is doubtful-wall filters of bricks that were used to creating important phase errors in the range of audible frequencies. But now that oversampling is the norm, 44.1 k systems work quite well, as they should do, and there is absolutely no justification whatever the massively high sampling rate unless you save bats. There is no significant musical harmonic content that exceeds about 14kHz, and if you include a lot of harmonic content at higher levels, a large number of listeners is quite disturbing.

  • What is the difference between Facelets and JSP XML document?

    Hello

    When you create a new page, in the dialog box "Create a JSF Page" it is a choice called 'Type of Document' to select "Facelets" or "the JSP XML".

    May be he one please tell me what is the difference between them. And what should I choose if I want to include ajax code in my page.

    Thanks in advance

    Facelets creates a facelets page

    JSP creates a JSP page

    Facelets - is default and the official display for JSF, compact JSP pages Manager has been used to view JSF pages but don't bear all component Facelets comes in picture under open source APACHE license. It supprts all components used by JSF (Java Server Faces) user interface.

    Facelets has been developed by Jacob Hookom in 2005.

    If you create a Facelets fragment in taskflow bounded, taskflow must be abandoned in a JSF (the parent page) page not in the .jspx (JSP XML) page.

    If you try to deposit in the JSP XML page-

    JSP, XML - jspx is Variant XML of the JSP (Java Server Pages) to support XML document. The JSP XML fragments are used in ADF inorder to support the XML document and more powerful techniques of page validation.

    If you create xml jsp fragments in taskflow bounded, taskflow must be abandoned in a JSP XML (.jspx) (the parent page) page not in the JSF page.

  • What is the length of the content ID?

    Does anyone know the length of the content ID or what is the longest string can be used in the content ID?
    For custom meta data fields, the length of them can be changed?
    For example, we can change the long text to 256?

    Hey there,

    Content ID is 30 characters max. The title is 80 characters max.

    For the custom metadata fields, you have the following on the limits of the box:
    Text - 30 characters
    Long text - 100 characters
    Memo - 255 characters

    The simplest increase is the Memo field. If you add 'MemoFieldSize = 2000' config.cfg any what Memo fields that you create after this point will be maximum 2000 characters.

    If you want to increase an existing memo field, you must change the size of the field in the database on the DocMeta table.

  • CDATA section get lost during the storage of data in binary xml format

    Hello

    If anyone has found any documentation that once you store XML to binary xml format, it will not save CDATA tags? What is the expected behavior or a bug?

    for example, you have an instance xml like this:

    < foo > <! [CDATA [this is CDATA-content]] > < / foo >

    but once save you it in a table that stores this XMLType instance as binary xml, it is what is returned:

    < foo > it is CDATA content < / foo >

    Anyone can shed some light on this?

    Best regards

  • What is the file *.so in bar - descriptor.xml

    Hello

    in the bar - descriptor.xml to assets, that I find under build paths of target configurations for the debugging of the device, the device profile etc. For the configuration of the path the target name of the application, for example, in the notebook-app the target path is portable.

    Only for the configration of device-release, it is notebook.so.

    Can some explain to me why there is the suffix .so?

    I searched the web but can't find an explanation to this day.

    .so is a library.

    For a Release version that the main application is packaged as a library, it has been introduced with 10.1 (?) and gave a performance gain important that all qt libraries are compiled into a single.
