What is the purpose of the type of plan in hyperion planning?

why we use the type of plan what is the purpose?

Plan types allow you to break a budget or forecast of components - serving slightly different purposes each.

You might have a Plan Type where you budget data of salary & compensation for employees. Where analytical budgets can be moved into another Type of Plan which users budget expenditures not compensation & revenue to build a larger budget. A third Type of plan could be used to review the budget in a reporting application.

Each Plan Type uses a separate Essbase database. The type of database can be either ASO or OSB Office.

    Dear all,

What is the type of interface SATA of ThinkPad E420? Is this 3 SATA or SATA 2?

I noticed that this laptop hard drive transfer rate is 3 Gb/s, which means that it is a SATA 2 HARD drive, isn't it? It also means that the laptop SATA interface is SATA 2?

I tried searching the support site and product from lenovo for this information, but I can't.

    You're right, the E420 is SATA2.

SATA3 is very rare in the laptops!

Are there any useful document on the types between Java and process management? Description too little on the list in the manual (lcwb_95_help.pdf)

  • Security filters for the Types of Plan of ASO in 11.1.2.3

    All,

My understanding of security filters for the Types of Plan of ASO in 11.1.2.3, is that they are not as robust as Types of Plan of traditional BSO are. Is this true? If so, can I restrict access to users who are assigned to the ASO Plan Type to display only and read/write on the private accounts and entities (for example)?

    Thanks in advance.

The limitation that you refer is a bit confusing.  In summary, the planning will not create Essbase security filters on a data base of the ASO.  However, this does NOT mean that you will not have security on the Type of Plan of ASO.  Instead, it depends on which tool you are using to access the Type of Plan of ASO.

If you want to connect to the ASO Plan type planning or tool (e.g., EN) with a connection to planning, you'll be fine.  The planning gets its security filters Essbase security information.  It gets its information from the relational repository security.  So the planning and the EN (with a connection to planning) are supported.  Security works as you would expect, even for the Type of Plan of ASO.

If you want to connect on the type of Plan of ASO with something that requires a * Essbase * (not planning) connection, it only is not supported out-of-the-box, because planning will not create filters on the ASO cube (at least not yet in this version).  However, there is nothing that prevents you from creating filters on your own.  I usually manage all of my safety in an Excel/VBA model that allows me to export/import the Essbase security planning and.  This allows me to apply specific to Essbase filters after a refresh (by importing the custom filters via MaxL).

So the question is... what tool you will use to access the Type of Plan of ASO?  If you use a connection of planning, you're good.  If you use a connection of Essbase, should be a personalized approach.

    Hope this helps,

    -Jake

  • Not available in the Type 3 Plan attribute

    Hi all

I use EMP 11.1.2.4. When I run the application studio financial statement, I can see my attribute fades in the Plan Type 1 but not in the Plan Type 3. That is, if I have a link and develop a report against the foreground Type 1 can drag and drop my attributes in the lines, columns, etc. However, when I link the report against the Plan Type 3, I'm more able to see the attribute fades as a selection available for drag and rop in lines, columns, etc.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Can you confirm that the DB Fr for Plan type 3 connection is not a planning connection? If there is a link to planning, you will not be able to see the size of the attribute that those are exposed through an DB EN Essbsase connection.

Of course, the assumption is that the dimension that has the size of the attribute is valid for the type of Plan 3

  • What are the Business Catalyst Plans to treat the NPAPI issues?

BC currently using NPAPI plug ins Google Chrome throws up an error message when Chrome users visiting a site BC. Visitors are complaining.  What are the plans at this address?

(UPDATED) Tier 2 Support SC confirmed that the platform of the BC introduces OBJECTS NPAPI. If some appear in the HTML code, they can be removed without problem.

Current belief is that NPAPI objects are / were inserted by a Norton Symantic application running on the computer editing.

I can confirm that remove the NPAPI object code clears the problem and does not otherwise affect the operation of the Web site.

  • What are the types of signatures? PDF 1.7 reference indicates that he there 3 of them but everywhere else, there are only 2. Where the signature of rights use has disappeared?

Reference (http://wwwimages.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/pdf/pdfs/PDF32000_2008.pdf) PDF said there are 3 types of signatures:

    -approval signature

    -signature certification

    -signature of use rights

But anywhere else, I can find only the first 2 types. Could someone tell me why, please? I am writing thesis on PDF security mechanisms.

    Thank you.

The actual use of the "usage rights" depends on the application

Usage rights is also known in Acrobat UI as 'compatible drive '. There is an option to save as to save a PDF file as a compatible reader. It's then Acrobat adds a signature of usage rights to the PDF format. Other PDF processing applications can use it for what they want.

  • What is the type of object to use for virtual machine model in the Points of Extension?

    Hello

I added my plugin point of extension vsphere.core. ${objectType} .monitorViews. My plugin is for all types of objects (vm, file, vApp, resourcePool, etc) except the model of the virtual machine. My understanding is that the vm object type would be required for the virtual machine template, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Am I missing something here? Should the plugin appear for the model of the virtual machine when I use the vsphere.core.vm.monitorViews extension point?

    Thanks in advance.

    Kind regards

    Ashutosh

Sorry, I got confused by your original question. ExtensionPoint id you are looking for is the one for adding views a model virtual machine monitor tab:

    model.monitorViews vSphere.Core.
