• Measures at different levels of concentration

  I'm working on a cube. I have 6 dimensions and aggregations are supposed to do at different levels for me to get the correct results, but I'm unable to implement this. I I have a fact Table equipped with all measures, I need, including sales, quantity, amount Total savings, Total etc edits. The challenge is that these measures require complex calculations, so I have a level of data in the fact table, but I think that this is the origin of the problem. How can I build complex measures calculated in the Olap Cube using a sql statement. What are the functions I should use to do this.

  You must come with some examples to get a better answer.

  A few general points.

  *(#1). * for calculated measures, look at the Expression of OLAP syntax which resembles the features of relational analytical ROLAP.

  In the "Calculation Type", select "Syntax of Expression of OLAP", and in the Expression box, type the logic.

• Hard drive does not correctly identified under Win7 64 bit and the blocking of access to the disk.

  I use a Maxtor Ultra 16 L01F500 SATA, but Win7 (64 bit) is to identify it as a SCSI drive Maxtor L100P0. He not only identifies by mistake, but also blocks access. I get an error indicating that the location is not accessible. Under computer management, the drive is there and gives the correct size and format (NTFS - was previously my main drive until I upgraded to Win7) when we look under properties. Also, Windows shows the drive is healthy and active. Don't know what to do to get access again (I have admin access to the player thought that would help). I also ran the disk error checking and it showed no errors. You don't know why Win7 has misidentified or why it will not allow access. Any info or help would be appreciated. I can't seem to find the drivers for the drive, otherwise I would have tried that. Thanks for reading.

  Yes, if you select the option "No., ASDM, SSH, TELNET or Console access" allows to block only the admin access to the firewall. Here's the equivalent CLI for this option:

  myASA(config-username) # type of service?

  the user mode options/controls:
  Admin user is authorized to access the configuration prompt.
  NAS-prompt user is allowed access to the exec prompt.
  remote user has access to the network.

  If you use this option you will be on the third option in the above list that is remote access. Users will have the option of VPN in but no admin (asdm, ssh, telnet or console)

• I'm looking for a simple list of available applications with different levels of creative cloud subscriptions?

  Boy, the Adobe web site is incredibly frustrating. It is very difficult to accomplish some very simple tasks. First of all, there should be an email address for contact. I shouldn't be forced to submit my question on a forum. It's cheap and lazy on the part of Adobe, especially when they charge a lot for their subscription applications.

  My biggest complaint is that I can't find a simple list of the applications available with the cloud creative in different subscription levels. When I search, it sends me to a video of slick 'overview' of the creative cloud which tells me zero in on specific applications available. It should be a simple list of available with creative cloud applications and a side-by-side comparison of the applications available with the different levels of subscription creative cloud. Why can't I find something like this on the web site of Adobe? I found a page that lists 15 adobe applications, but not a page that describes to me what apps come with what levels of creative cloud subscriptions.

  Before I used VPD to database 11g. Now, we decided to keep the aggregations in the cube OLAP (AWM 11 g) and I'm looking for the best solution limiting the user access rights to members of special dimension to different levels. For example, we must leave Office Manager to see only its data from team members (and do it dynamically, without having to grant the role of severl hundreds of managers separately), or let product manager see only 3 categories of products.

  There are two mechanisms available to control that can see the data by user: cube or dimension according to the strategies of security and private virtual database (DPV). Each have their own forces. Many organizations use a combination of the two.

  Cube security policies allow you to grant access (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE) to a database user or role. You describe what dimension members a user has access. For example, Europe and all descendants. If the security policy is applied to a dimension, that policy is applied on all cubes that use the dimension. If cube security if applied in the context of a policy, the policy is limited to this cube.

  Cube security policies:

  * Are 'hermetic', because they apply to all access methods (SQL querying the views of dimension and cube, SQL, OLAP_TABLE and CUBE_TABLE, OLAP DML, PL/SQL, queries etc.).
  * Are convenient. Apply a policy to a single dimension, and it applies to all cubes. It is very easy to express security policies by selecting the members or the use of hierarchical expressions in Analytic Workspace Manager.
  * Are limited to users and roles, so the applicability may be limited to certain use cases.

  Virtual private database policies are applied to views of dimension, hierarchy and cube. These views using OLAP is not different from any other table or view.

  MEV:

  * Applies only to the objects on which you apply a policy (for example, dimension, hierarchy, and cube views). If you need to make the hermetic policy, you should stop other access methods. For example, revoke execute on DBMS_AW, etc.
  * May take a bit more work to set up, but they offer some additional flexibility because you set the policy with PL/SQL. That's all what you can invent.
  * Can be applied beyond the users and roles.

  The key is that both are quite useful. Learn more about the two and use the feature that best matches your request.

• Cannot access planning 9.3.1 directly (without Applications)

  I installed / set up planning 931 on a Windows Server 2003 operating system
  Shared Services, Essbase (Client and server), EAS and planning - LDCS are configured correctly without errors and set to run as services according to the Configuration tool. This environment is using Windows 2000 SQL server for databases and data sources, and Tomcat for Java and its Web Server internal; IE 6.0, IIS and Net Frame are installed and assigned to allowed, I'm trying to access the planning directly (without having to install a workspace) using security Native Admin created on Shared Services, Essbase and EAS.

  OK, I'm lost.  It's crazy.

  After reading the reasons to do most of your work on/as a Standard user, I created a user account (quite a while) and have been using it since--and perhaps the way I did have this problem.

  If I remember correctly, this is how I did it.  I had a LOT of files under my old ID admin, so I created another Admin account and then replaced by former Admin account is a Standard user account.  I have been connected and makes every slot the user account Standard since then, with Windows poping a request my Admin password whenever he needed.

  Today, I needed to change a tax return of 2013 - and when I reloaded TurboTax last year and needed to get the State program, TurboTax wouldn't, claiming that I need to be logged in as an Admin user (I have not the popup asking my Admin password).

  OK, here's the problem.  When I have users to switch to my Admin account, after the passage, almost all the icons on my desktop disappear AND there are only a couple of files in my files of Documents Libraries\Documents\My.

  Everything to go.  I thought as an Admin user, I had access to everything.  How can I get all this stuff back (the icons on the desktop for example and other user account files, etc.)

  -> This either means that the folder is already shared, or that UAC (User Account Control) is disabled on your PC. This isn't a good idea because it exposes your computer at serious risk.

  I can edit, delete, running back, I can't (or maybe since I am the only user on this machine, I should leave him alone).  Just curious as to what I did exactly.

  Each user has his own profile. Inside the profile, there is the user's desktop. Desktop shortcuts that are visible while connected as user A are not visible when you are logged on as user B because each user has his own office!

  There is one exception: most applications require at installation time if their shortcuts must be visible by all users. If you answer 'Yes', then the shortcuts will go into this common folder: C:\Users\Public\Desktop.

  Right click on the "This PC" drive and click Properties, then set security options to decide which users can access the drive, and what is the level of access that you want them to have.

  I have recently reinstalled Windows and I screw up the user names. This is what is stated in the users folder. All users, default user, Default (hidden), longsorr (grayed out), Public (grayed out), UpdatusUser. It should be default user, D..., my guests. When I was asked for the username during installation I gave longsorrow, thinking he was talking about the computer, time of elderly people. I tried to fix this and now got D... longsorrow.
