  Beat a dead horse... Whenever I need "missing images", in LR4.2, I can't access it, even if I'm looking to the right of the location that they presntly occupy thye picture was ALREADY in a CATALOG OTHER.

  Now, I see the video. AFAICT the message, it's not telling you that the image concerned is also imported into another catalog. You say that you already have an image version different within this current catalog, which already makes reference to the same physical file, you're trying to re - adjust the offline image to.

  This duplicate version is (I'm 90% sure) the result of a re - import at some point after you have transferred the data in the new computer. The proof will be if the two folder/drive locations appear in the records of LR.

  Say there is an [X] image that becomes an orphan, because the location of its source [A] file is no longer available.

  As has been explained, the right solution is to update the location information - it is easier to do in the record IMO, or a whole folder, instead of an image - tree so that the image [X] beyond knows to use the location [B] instead of [A] location. Incidentally, this means [A] record disappears from the list of files to LR and folder [B] appears here.

  However the situation is badly knotted up so instead to the foregoing, the [B] file is imported as fresh images, creating a new and separate image [are] pointing to the same file moved this image [X] used to use in the old location (for example).

  [X] is still in all of your Collections already made and has all its changes etc., but (with no now accessible at A location source file) cannot be used.  [There] was all or part x edits, will not be in one of your Collections, but works otherwise - because she doesn't have a working reference to the image file to location B.

  If you now try to redirect Web image [X] notebook file B, Lightroom rightly complains: ' you already have image [is] referring to this file!

  So if you delete these (I guess, superfluous) additional imports of LR - the backup catalog first and do NOT choose Remove them the disc! -LR will no longer have any reason to block you re - treating your images established and thus put online.

  I wonder if referring to pictures only through Collections (as in the video), one would tend to miss what's going on with these physical folder locations? It may be useful (even if you do not pay much attention to the location of the files, otherwise as LR allows rightly) - to select "Go to folder in the library" against a given image, for repairs in such cases.

  Very strange that this issue has been raised suddenly and even system restore back the working time is not solve it.  At this point, I suspect something mischievous because restoration of return must be a guaranteed fix.  If it worked on Friday, it should work if restore you backup on Friday.

  It depends on your specific needs.
  Not all months are 30 days long. Looking for more lines of 30 days old is a perfectly reasonable thing to do, but it is not the same looking for lines that are older than 1 month (which is also quite reasonable).

  Say that you are running the query at 23:30 on 6 June. It will exclude most recent data as 00:00 may 7, which is more than 23 hours old to 30 days. Again once, this is not necessarily an error. It is often desirable to have a query that will return the same results regardless of what time it is executed on a given day and find all fropm lines a day, regardless of the exact time.

  It may be more effective if you do not use a function on dt; in other words, write the WHERE clause such that dt is the only one on one side of the inequality operator. This condition

  WHERE   dt < TRUNC (SYSDATE - 30)
  

  is equivalent to what you posted.

  According to your needs, here's another way to do it:

  WHERE   dt  < ADD_MONTHS (SYSDATE, -1)
  

  If you run this at 23:30 on June 6, then it will includes the lines where dt is later than 23:30 May 6, but exclude lines where dt is 23:30 May 6, or even earlier.

  All conditions in this message to exclude lines where dt is ZERO.

  Can someone please tell me if the Quick Start menu app is accessible anywhere safely download it from.  All existing links forum answers date early last year, or earlier it just go to descriptions and not the software.

  Thanks for your reply.  I think someone forgot to say my PC that quick start is not compatible with 8.1 it worked 8.1 for six months with Quickstart works well, that's why I wanted it for my new laptop.  And thanks for the head, I think I'll just bite the bullet and learn the intracies of 8.1 and it's quite modern apps.

  Mac does not come with Adobe Reader, they come with a program called Preview. The best way to know which version is on a given computer is to ask the owner! If the owner does not know that they can select the file and then on the file menu or by typing the command - I they can activate the command read information that will produce a window with the version information and much more.

  Objective: I believe that cleaning MainSequence work again even if a sequence ends. I wish I had a step in cleaning that works only for a dismissal (must be in "MainSequence"). Is this possible?

  I may have been able to get Execution.GetStates () to work, however, after reviewing the methods of execution, I found an alternative. I was looking for to use this as a precondition, so I don't know how to use GetStates() in the prerequisite (because it returns the State to another variable) without calling it in another statement before the one that interests me. I'm güssing there is a way (maybe I'm overthinking that), but what follows, worked for me:

  where Locals.TerminationMonitor is an object reference variable initialized to RunState.Execution.InitTerminationMonitor () beginning of the test (I did it in the configuration of MainSequence steps).
