What is win32/regcure

I have win32/RegCure and why Ms. scan only removes it partially. can I get rid of it all together if yes how. It poses a real threat to my safety. Why is it not detected by norton 360. I am running xp pro SP3.

In addition to advice of PML, you should be aware that it may have been inadvertently installed. See Add/Remove Programs, if the list download Revo Uninstaller Free Edition to remove it.

Just do a live scan of my computer... It shows that I have a serious problem RWin32/Regcure is it impossible to repair. Can someone tell me how to remove it please... I'm using windows Vista... Thank you very much... Ian

    Hello

If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running
resident who can cause as many questions as the malware and may be more difficult to detect as the
    cause.

No one program cannot be used to detect and remove any malware. Added that often easy
to detect malicious software often comes with a much harder to detect and remove the payload. Then
its best to be thorough than paying the high price later now too. Check with them to one
extreme overkill point and then run the cleaning only when you are sure that the system is clean.

  • My game says that it is not "a win32 application.

I have a couple of SNES games that I downloaded for play.  Both give me the "not a win32 application" when I try to open them.  I have 3 different emulators responsible, none of them will simply open the game.  I have to go through programs, find the game, find the rom and open it.  This means that I can't save any of them, because he made me start a new game each time taking this road.  How can I change the soft 'win32 '?  What is "win32"?

    Hi venlost,

you're poorly understand the concept of emulation. It works like a virtual machine: imitate you (virtualization) a disk, you do not have (in this case: a SNES / Super Famicom console) and a virtual disc (in this case: a virtual SNES cartridge) in this player. There is nothing to 'open' your operating system. You put your *.smc (= Roma SNES) files in the folder of the emulator (preferably), start the emulator and load the ROM in the memory. The emulator behaves like a real console, acknowledges the inserted cartridge (= the ROM loaded) and the game starts. -Btw: If your ROMs are files '.exe' (which could give the "Win32" error), there is something wrong.

Remove ALL power and reconnect the cables (at both ends where possible), memory and cards
-in fact, remove and replace - do not just tight. Make sure that the vents are clear and fans
    will run.

That does not sound like malware can update BIOS and chipset of low level
drivers from the system manufacturer (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems) and update all the
    main device drivers.

Abandon the TuneUp utilities, which tend to be problematic if not powder Perlimpinpin - these type of on -.

    Hello

The error message "not a Win32 application invalid" is displayed on the Windows computers and can indicate a variety of problems. Win32 is part of the core of the Windows operating systems and programs installed on your computer must communicate with the kernel in order to work properly.

    Hello

    1. what exactly is the problem you are having with the firm Win32 Extractor?

    2. do you get an error message? If Yes, what is the exact error message?

    On Win32 Cabinet Extractor:

The Windows .cab files contains files that install the program. Because they are compressed files, you cannot use the contents of these files without checking out them from the CAB file.

Because the contents of cabinet files is normally inaccessible, the Extractor is a program used to remove these files, you can use them.

Whenever you use your computer; There is a risk that one of the Windows files can be damaged, either by a virus or a hardware failure. The extractor of the Cabinet allows you to recover a single file to replace the one damaged without having to reinstall Windows from scratch.

  • What I have to reinstall windows to completely remove Trojan: Win32 / Sirefef: AH

I ran the Scanner from Microsoft for a complete analysis and he said I have the Trojan: Win32 / Sirefef: OH and it has only been partially deleted.  He said I might have to reinstall windows - which is another option, I can try first?

Also, I have McAfee Total Protection - it's up-to-date (supposedly) but this is not the first time that the safety of MS Scanner found things - what is happening with this?

    Hello
If the advice above does not help, try following the steps 1 and 2 in this virus/malware removal guide: http://www.selectrealsecurity.com/malware-removal-guide

This could be the result of malware, or it could be a mistake with service pack 2.

Download, update and perform a quick scan with Malwarebytes. If there is no threat detected then you know that the issue is probably with sp2. Nevertheless, you need to update to sp3. Make sure that the system is also a free malware first.
