Where is the Windows PowerShell reference manual?

PowerShell is another product "put something there to shut them up" or, in the fullness of time, we have a usable documentation?

To not to cut anyone, but this isn't where someone should define what is meant by "Reference Manual".

    I was so wrong.

A guide explains how to perform basic tasks. A reference manual tells you everything you could want to know about how to create product behaviors. It has a formal structure, it is complete, it is indexed, and it is organized. This is the specification of detailed interface of the product. To the product, it's what the OED to the language English.

I don't think that I had to explain that.

The archetype is the two volumes of Bell Labs 'Unix Programmer's manual ".  Are more recent but nevertheless excellent examples of "The C++ Programming Language" Stroustrup and Caison 'Reference of the ASP.NET programmer.

    Hi Kumar,

Thanks for your reply. It was caused by Poweliks.

What I did: reset the IE security (version 11) by default; Download the updated version of free version of Malwarebyte s in SafeMode with network connection; restored the system to the point before that he has been infected with the Poweliks (I got lucky that point to restore was not removed by the system yet); then re scan the entire PC in mode safe mode with networking. So far, nearly a week, the PC works fine and the Poweliks wish never to return.

Thanks for all members of the community to help.

    Happy new year to all!

    Hello

If the Windows PowerShell window is open, and then click close in the upper right of the window.

You can ignore the warning as it relates to Windows PowerShell, and it do not hamper the performance of the computer or cause problems for Windows.

If you are unable to close the window and then try to complete the process via the Task Manager.

  • Windows PowerShell 3.0 and Windows 7 [64 - Bit (x 64), {System32} and 32 - bit (x 86), {SysWOW64}] O.S.:

    Windows PowerShell 3.0 and Windows 7 [64 - Bit (x 64), {System32} and 32 - bit (x 86), {SysWOW64}] O.S.:

    (Originally titled: "Windows PowerShell 3.0:")

    1. run "C:\windows\System32\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell_ise.exe" is the title "Windows PowerShell ISE" which should be the 32-bit version;

    AND,

    2. run "C:\windows\sysWOW64\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell_ise.exe" has the title "Windows PowerShell ISE (x 86)" which should be 64-bit.

    BUT,

    3 does not (x 86) (x 64) and stand 32-bit for the 64-bit versions of programs?

    AND,

4 menu of program "help" or "Windows PowerShell ISE" has an article "about".

    THUS,.

    5. Why are the titles indicating no 32/64-bit version correctly?

    AND,

    6. what version of bits of programs "Windows PowerShell ISE" am really run when I run 1 or 2 above?

Have a read of http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh847733.aspx and http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh847820.aspx and http://www.samlogic.net/articles/32-64-bit-windows-folder-x86-syswow64.htm I hope this can help. (assuming I've understood your question).

Basically, the "System32" folder is for 64-bit files and the "SysWOW64" folder is for 32-bit files

  • PowerShell Stopped Working - error Windows 8 Windows Powershell has stopped working

For the last 6 months, I got the message, "Windows Powershell has stopped working" with the command prompt to close the program. I close it and more that probably happens about five or six times during the use. I've updated, due to AVG security scans, I even FOUND powershell.exe and removed and STILL get the message.

I don't know what to do. I'm so frustrated. I have a laptop Windows 8 AMD series. I would like to know if you want some more info!

    Hello

I suggest you uninstall AVG and other third party of your system software. Then restart and run SFC/scannow command to the prompt administration control, reboot again and see if the problem is resolved.

Hope this helps, good luck :)

  • How Firefox knows what tabs/windows you had open when click you on "restore session"? If it is a temporary file or something, where it is preserved?

My computer crashed and will not back to zero (I think it's because of a bad repair of Windows XP after a virus has passed my security). Before it crashed, I was easily 20 tabs open in Firefox, some of them being very important, but I don't remember what some of them were called or how I found them. I was wondering how Firefox knows what tabs/windows to open when you click on 'Restore Session', if it is stored in a file of all kinds, so that I could start on Linux, download the file and somehow use it once I have installed my new buy Win7. It is not a Firefox problem, but I didn't know where it is best to ask this question.
