Problem of activating Windows 7 after relacing motherboard and Chipset
Hello
I bought a new motherboard and chipset, leading to a new installation of my Windows 7 operating system.
When I try to turn it on but it tells me that I can't activate windows on this computer with this key.
Can you advise what might be the cause of this. I have the OS provided with Microsoft tag to give the key to the original packaging, and I tried several times without success.
The product key has been used successfully to install the OS on my maching formatted.
Kind regards
Jason.

DV7-3065dx: what motherboard and the fan is in the laptop Dv7-3065dx?
Looks like I'm going to replace a bad CPU and would like to know what are my options regarding the upgrade to a faster would be?
Can someone tell me that HP, is there any where on the line, I can find it, or I'll have to just to go ahead and take apart and look at the numbers on the mobo?
I would like to also know what model of fan I don't need, since I will replace who also while I am?
the original processor is one - AMD TURION II ULTRA DUAL - CORE M600 (2.4 ghz)
Thank you!
You can find what your laptop systemboard is if you go to HP Partsurfer.
http://PartSurfer.HP.com/search.aspx?IsmobileDevice=Y
Once you have the part number and perhaps the number for a motherboard that has perhaps are more important than one installed, you can do a search online to find a supplier at the best price. If it has been replaced, use the new part number.
For the fan, it is quite simple. Simply remove the fan and go in a PC shop. Match the size and performance available fans, ensuring that the connector of the new fan has the same configuration as the original fan was. (there will be a connector 3 or 4 pin)

Motherboard and processor upgrades
Is there anyway I can find out what motherboard and processor will be compatible with my laptop Toshiba Satellite Pro L300-1FK and be an upgrade of the original equipment fitted. Toshiba has tried, but they don't want to know. I have the details of the specification for the processor and the motherboard and am looking for advice on where to find the technical information that will tell me what is happening with that without it breaking. Of the spec. sheet I have the motherboard was made by Toshiba and gives the chipset model and relevant details. The processor is an Intel Celeron 585 and once again have all the details of the spec... Have doubled from two to four memory and changed the hard drive for an SSD that has made a big difference in the speeding things up. If I can get just a better motherboard and processor so I'm home and dry. Can anyone help please?
You should contact Toshiba for this information. Laptops do not have motherboards standards or processors, so you can't just buy one and put in it, it must be specially designed for your laptop.

High seeds Image Acquisition from GigE Vision cameras OR use software OR Driver compatible some hardware, for example. as NI PCIe-8231 (1 port PCI Express inserted) that uses the Intel 82572EI Ethernet interface circuit. I have a desktop system using stuff that works excellent. I would use a laptop. Dell said that their books have b Mobile Intel HM77 Express Chipset or Mobile Intel QM77 Express Chipset (b). What the reader OR compatible with either of these chipsets? Thanks for your time and your efforts.
See the following doc:
Acquisition from GigE Vision cameras with Vision Acquisition software - part I
http://www.NI.com/white-paper/5651/en
Compares the universal to the pilot of high performance,
specifically both offer the same bandwidth 125 MB max but the driver high performance takes advantage of the chipset intel pro1000 to unload part of the CPU load, once again, it's less important that processors become faster.
"The benefits of.
While the high-performance driver provides better performance of CPU compared to the universal driver, it will work on the chipset Intel Pro 1000 Gigabit Ethernet cards. The universal driver can run on any card Gigabit Ethernet is recognized by the operating system. CPU utilization during the acquisition will affect the CPU cycles available for image analysis. If your application requires a treatment online, so it is better to invest in a Gigabit Ethernet card with chipset Intel Pro 1000 as the NI PCIe-8231. While the driver of your choice affects the CPU usage, it does not limit the maximum possible bandwidth. Each driver will be able to achieve the maximum bandwidth of 125 MB/s." -
What are my options since I changed my motherboard and processor and now license is not valid?
Friends, I had problems with my old build of three year with windows 7 pro 64 oem. only now, I discovered the reason for windows refuses to activate on new construction, that I had to do because of these problems. I didn't have to have a new motherboard and processor would make unnecessary the my copy of windows. It was in my mind that there where windows 'lived' was in the hard drive. one of the reasons why I had to build another 'computer' should make a visual studio 8 microsoft c ++ problem I could not find any solution. now after an unexpected and costly reconstruction, I don't have the money to get a new license. so now, I guess that in 13 days I no longer have a computer at all. It's incredibly disappointing for me. are there any other options out there for me? Thank you for your time and your consideration.

Satellite Pro A200 (PSAF4A) - update CPU and chipset
Hello
I have a Satellite Pro A200 (PSAF4A) with a processor Intel Celeron M 540 (1.86 GHz) and a Mobile Intel (r) 965 Express Chipset Family.
I upgraded the RAM, but it's just not enough performance for me as its limited to 2 GB.
I know that Toshiba will not admit it, but I've heard people have updated this type of processor before. I can't afford a new laptop altogether but will settle for upgrades I get.My questions are;
Are there companies in New Zealand that can upgrade my processor and/or my Chipset?
I also noticed that space to the second HDD has no media or in any case to add another HARD disk, is it because of my laptop or is it a manufacturing defect?
Are there also companies who can add these mounts to my board so I can have a second HDD?
First, the chipset is not extensible. It s soldered onto the motherboard and can't be exchanged. In addition, on the CPU upgrade, you should read this article that I founded in the area of the FAQ:
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB9401AX0001R01.htm
The point is that the new processor must be supported from the motherboard, BIOS and chipset and it is not so easy.Install a second HDD is not a problem if you have a second connector to HARD drive (I know SATA) in the second HARD drive Bay. I think some of the Satellite Pro A200 models were fitted with a second HDD and some other laptops are not. So if you have the connector in the Bay, you can install an additional HARD drive.

New motherboard and CPU... Running slow
The back story:
First let me preface this by saying: "I don't know much about computers. OK, with that of the road, I have a Presario SR1703WM under XP. I added two gigs of memory a couple of years and it was running fine for what I needed.
About a year or two back... It got to where I could not close without waiting a long time to get it to even start upward. I was told that the phones went wrong. Anyway... the food has recently taken a dive. I replaced it, but the computer had apparently had inhaled, it is the last and sang with the choir invisible.
I decided to fix it myself and in the process, destroyed the CPU... He looked like a little in the wake of a 747 crashing in a field of culture.
A friend IT just happened to have a new motherboard and CPU which it replaces for me (God have mercy on its processor)
The Situation as it is:
The computer came back from the dead, but he is running a bit slow sometimes. It is not constant. It seems to happen on Yahoo mail and when I watch Youtube videos or when there is a site with a kind of animation advertisemens. Yahoo email who has a little. PC Doctor 5 for windows came with the original computer, but now she says that she is not allowed now... not really a problem, but running a dignostic there will not happen. Compaq diagnostics is not upward in case of problem either. The slowness is erratic, even in the same session. It can correct itself and return to normal. It seems to happen when I have more than one high screen... like if I can access Yahoo email on one screen and I do appear Facebook on another at the same time.
Memory is adequate
Controls for Device Manager shows all my drivers are up to date.
The new motherboard is an Elitegroup P4M800PRO-M he came with an instellation CD
The new processor is an Intel Pentium 4. (He had an AMD Sempron before hand).
Please be patient with me and use it as simple as possible when replying with advice... I do not understand a lot of technical terms... but I'm learning.
After hours of slope on this problem... It seems that the culprits were Yahoo toolbar and Adobe Flash 9. At least it works a lot better now. We'll see if it continues to do so. Thanks to everyone who took the time to help. I appreciate it. Kudos to you all.

I can't find out what motherboard I have for my HP Pavilion 15 t-n200
Hello
I have a HP Pavilion 15 t-n200 and I can't find out what motherboard I have. I have searched for answers days now and have decided to come on the forums.
The specifications are:
1.6 GHz to 2.3 Ghz i5-4200u
8 GB of DDR3 RAm/memory
64-bit operating system
Windows 8.1
If someone could help me find out what mother boar I have it would be great.
It must be the 740 M so this motherboard:
Intel Core i5-4200U 740 M 1.6 GHz (2 GB DC BGA 15 W) for use with Windows Standard 736377-501
Page 42 of the manual for the memory upgrade. Yes, there are two slots, and it supports up to 12 concerts (8 + 4).
An SSD is another matter. To get to the hard drive Bay, you must remove all cover it. It's not easy and it puts at risk the warranty. See Page 59. This set of video clips will help, too.
http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c04324972
But yes, you can install an SSD if you jump through all the hoops.
If it's 'the Answer' please click on 'Accept as Solution' to help others find it.

Motherboard and processor swap yeilds BSOD (blue screen error) in all modes.
Two and 1/2 years, I'm building my own computer using an OEM of Windows Vista disk.
Over the few months that I replaced the card motherboard and CPU on my computer at the main house, this dual boots Linux Ubuntu and Windows Vista. It was working fine until recently. The folks at EVGA set to day the jury after the first replacement fizzled when the machine starts up the second time. I've since upgraded to a new modular power supply and a new processor Intel Quad (Q9300).
Running this configuration I can't log on to windows using my main hard drive, a 500 G SATA. I am able to choose Safe mode, safe mode with network... etc, but no matter what selection I make results in a brief flash of the BSOD, then my computer restarts. I got to the video screen to read as follows
"A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps. Check for viruses on your computer. Remove any newly installed hard drives or hard drive controllers. Check your hard drive to ensure that it is properly configured and completed. Run CHDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer. "Technical information: * STOP: 0x00.
I have virus scanned the disc with two calls from home via Windows Vista and ClamTK via Linux Ubuntu 10.04. I tried with just the main hard drive connected and the connected IDE as well. The hard drive seems to be connected correctly and has no problem running Ubuntu Linux in a dual-boot configuration.
I ran CHDSK several once... no problems with SATA cable or he analyzes with a USB adapter with my laptop also on Windows Vista. I was able to load Windows Vista on a separate hard drive (a former IDE 160 G) and ran from the disk check a couple different time to boot from the installation CD and the 160 g, after 6 scans, no problems were detected.
Yesterday I woke up upward and instead of my computer up-to-date 87 or so updates to build one of the service packs, I was greeted with a copyright message, "an error has occurred. You can also contact Microsoft by phone to help solve the problem. «Code: 0xc004e002 Description: the software licensing service reported that the license above store contains inconsistent data.»
I saved all the information in dual boot drive of 500G, it was always perfectly accessible and I used DBAN (of derrick boot and nuke) to refresh the smallest 160G hard drive. I have reinstalled windows vista and ran the first 80 some updates and refused permission to check my license number. The 160G hard drive starts and works fine... but it reassures me that I have to present once again the license number. How can I get a different result than the blue screen of death or violation of copyright?
If she gave you this code you shouldn't have a problem.
Once Windows is activated, you can start one of these utlities to document the product key.

Activation of Windows Vista after changing motherboard and processor
I bought a HP Pavilion Slimline PC (HP S3500z) with AMD Athlon Dual core, online from HP in the United States during the year 2008, which is preloaded with Windows Vista Home Premium. I did the recovery also disks at this time.
In May 2009, I came to the India and the PC was fine. This year, in October 2010, the PC has suddenly stopped booting and after discussing the nature of the problem with the HP online support, it was concluded that the motherboard has gone wrong.
I tried to locate to the motherboard, but it is not available and there are size constraints associated with the motherboard that can be mounted in the slimline PC... FINALLLY I could not well the same motherboard.
Now, I have no option but replace the motherboard and the processor from Intel to make...
But after the replacement of these two main components: the Vista downloaded on my PC will not recognize them and would require again activation...I have not yet changed components and require the guidance on how to make this change followed in reactivation...
Please give information about the problem as early may so I'd go head and do what is necessary...
Thank you and best regards

When you change the motherboard, you lose all rights to the OEM installed Vista OS. It is called "tattoo" by HP and is a license agreement with Microsoft. Your only solution is to buy a version of the OS and sure, format the drive to lose all data. The only other alternative would have been to contact HP and ask questions on a refurbished motherboard, or a Board that is in the same group family who would accept the OEM license.

Original title: completely clueless
I'm totally clueless when it comes to computers, but I try very hard to learn. I am using the help section a LOT, but I can't seem to find an answer to the only thing that makes me crazy. How can you know what drivers and programs are essential and those that can be deleted without harming my computer? I have a very basic net accountant I learn on before I screw up a portable more expensive and I do a cleaning on my C and D drives to improve performance because it runs so slow but it tells me I have the drivers who slow down Windows. I would greatky appreciate any assistance from someone who has the patience of a saint and is willing to take the time to explain it to me, in terms laymans. Thanks in advance
Drivers: you should know what you bought (in your machine) and what * you * want out of it. If you want stability and things work properly - let alone the drivers. If you want more performance check (and other games) in the drivers of motherboard chipset and video network from the manufacturers Web site... For more stability stick with the OEM website (HP, Dell, Lenovo - the assembler of the whole machine) and slightly more performance/push the limits (even if they want to work too - so still some stability) - access to websites of its components manufacturer.
With regard to the programs: you can decide what you use and do not use. If you are not sure, look it up (Google) or ask.

Hi, is - it important which chipset intel to use until the processor is on the supported list. for example Intel 5000P Chipset and Intel 5400 chipset two processors Intel e5400 series so no matter what chipset to use?
Thanks in advance!
Not really. It's really the compatibility processor that vmotion is concerned. Other than that, if you can take, stop the machine virtual and put on another server, even that doesn't matter. Other I/o devices must be supported as well, SCSI controller, NETWORK card, but the chipset itself does nothing, as long as the processor and I/o devices are supported.
