    Dear,

I am desperately looking for a solution for my specific problem how access my NAS.

I have a hard drive from Western Digital NAS (Book Live) which worked fine until now. Yet, I just changed my internet provider and I now have a new Fritzbox 6360. Now, I can not access the hard disk of the commune of programs in Windows. I contacted two suppliers already, but without success. I think I have some incorrect settings in my Windows 7, 64 bit. This is the situation:

-NAS is still working with my old Fritzbox, for testing that I went back-> ok

-I can access the NAS via the dashboard or a TwonkyServer-> ok

-When I access it via Windows Explorer, I wonder is to give my credentials (which don't work) or I get the error message: the device is not configured to accept connections on port 'files and printers sharing (SMB).

-J' changed my IP address (dynamic even static) and connections, password-> without success.

-J' tried SFC with the result that found no violation of integrity. -> ok.

    Any idea?

Can you please turn off the NAS, unplug the cable and Ethernet cable? Wait about 2 minutes then plug all the cables back in. Any security program or firewall to this computer? Try disabling it for now.

You have another PC or laptop which has Windows 7/8 and try to access the NAS?

You have a smartphone or a Tablet and download an application for the WD NAS and then try to access files.

    Hello

It all depends on the available ports.
To my knowledge the U100 supports a Mini VGA Port and an adapter was supplied with the laptop.

In your case I am looking for a cable that is capable of connecting a mini VGA port with a port VGA (RGB) common, which is probably available on your TV

  • How can I remove the Administrative Tools, network connections, printers & Fax and scanners and cameras my desktop icons?

Recently, I installed a trial version of Tune Up Utilities 2009. During one of the scans/tune-ups, he gave me the option to display the Administrative Tools, network connections, printers & Fax and Scanners & cameras icons on my desktop. I checked ok, however, now, I think it's too crowded in my office and you want to remove them... right on the desktop, not everywhere else they are located. I tried everything I know to remove them without success. Anyone knows where is the menu option to display on the desktop so I can uncheck or choose Delete? I don't want to have to change all the .ini files or .bat to because I'm afraid I don't do it correctly and create other problems.

    Hello tellis1230

I don't know what you have tried, but have a look here

    Right-click Desktop-desktop/properties/Office/Customization

  • What ports should I use to get the VPN RA worked?

    Hello

I have a few tunnels l2l. I don't use "vpn sysopt connection permit" command. I prefer to activate the required ports for specific source IP. So they can establish the VPN tunnel with me.

Recently, I have configured remote access vpn. It is work very well... But only when I activate "vpn sysopt connection permit.

    Question:

    1. what ports need to be activated to get RA VPN work? (without vpn sysopt connection permit)

    2. How can I restrict the access of remote when clients they connected to my private network?

    Thank you

    Leo

    Hi Leo,

When you are not using 'connection sysopt... '. ", you must explicitly permit udp 500 and udp 4500, traffic esp on the outdoor access list.

Let's say that public intf outside ip address is x.x.x.x and pool customer, we use y.y.y.0 and you want to allow 'only' traffic for port 80 through the tunnel.

In the ACL on the outside, you need the following instructions:

    access-list 101 permit udp any host x.x.x.x eq 500

    access-list 101 permit udp any host x.x.x.x eq 4500

    access-list 101 permit esp any host x.x.x.x

    access-list 101 permit tcp y.y.y.0 255.255.255.0 eq 80

    access-list 101 deny ip 255.255.255.0 y.y.y.0

  • What ports needed to catalog and the business of Recovery Manager

I have a server I have the Enterprise Manager configuration and recovery catalog on.  I have another server I want to manage.  The part of business manager seems to work very well, I was able to start the agent on this server and promote it.  But when I create the backup job and then try and tell him to use the catalogue of recovery I get a tns error, I think it's really a problem with my firewall.  I'm trying to find out what ports I need to open for the catalog recovery and Enterprise Manager to work.  That's what I have now.

Ctlg Rec / EM Svr - all ports open-> Svr2

    Ctlg Rec / EM Svr < - just the port 4899 - Svr2

4899 is the agent of the EM.

Can I also open Svr2 1521 port to my Rec Ctlg / Server EM?  Or all other ports?

2 server needs to connect to the catalogue of recovery via the TCP port that you define in the earpiece of your recovery catalog server.

  • What ports/servers are used to display customer (PCoIP)

I have spent hours reading on this subject and can't understand how it works.  Is there someone who can explain in a few sentences what ports are used in this scenario and what the connection through servers?

    Our facility:

broker for connections 1 view (no security server)

    All clients use PCoIP

In administrator mode, I 'Use' secure tunnel connection to the office and "Use PCoIP PCoIP gateway secure connections to desktop" both died. In my view, this means that clients connect directly to the correct virtual machine?

Most of the clients are on the local network, but we also use ipads to connect through our vpn.  In the vpn configuration, I welcomed ONLY access the connection Broker: 443 yet ipads are able to connect to their desktop very well.  I don't understand how this is possible, unless the connections between the client and the virtual machine are always routed by the broker for the connections.

Y at - it can a document somewhere that shows how these connections or someone explain this please?

    Thank you.

Your VPN must allows for 4172TCP and 4172UDP in both direction.

  • Using the second ethernet port to connect to the printer?

Hi I have a Mac Pro 2.1 old school and I'm wondering if I can connect to the network with an ethernet port and connect the latter to a printer?

    If so, how?

    Yosemite running.

    Thank you

Physically, you use a port and a cable to connect to your network and use the second port and a second cable to connect directly to the printer. The printer must obviously have an interface Ethernet himself.

However, you need to configure the second port on the Mac and the Ethernet port on the printer for each manually configured the TCP/IP addresses and these should be in a range of different network to your main network.

If you the main network is something like 192.168.1.1 then your printer and the port on the Mac connection to this need to be in another network, such as 192.168.11.1.

In theory, if the printer supports Hello aka. mDNS, then maybe you can get away with not having to configure TCP/IP addresses for the connection.

The main reasons to use a second separate connection as this would be the performance or security, and frankly I don't think that's really relevant here. This would mean that no other computers on your network will be able to access the printer.

  • Port 80 connection refused on localhost

    Hello

I am trying to solve a problem that I am having with the virtual hosts in Apache 2.4 on one of my two Macs, both running El Capitan. On a Mac, use virtual hosts without a hitch on another, I get connection refused.

    ↪ curl -I -L test.dev 15:51:08
    HTTP/1.1 200 OK
    Date: Tue, 08 Dec 2015 14:51:17 GMT
    Server: Apache/2.4.16 (Unix)
    Last-Modified: Tue, 08 Dec 2015 08:52:04 GMT
    ETag: "c-5265f1673f500"
    Accept-Ranges: bytes
    Content-Length: 12

    Content-Type: text/html

    vs.

    ↪ curl -I -L test.dev 15:51:01
curl: (7) Failed to connect to test.dev port 80: Connection refused

My question is not on Apache or the configuration of the vhosts, / etc/hosts, etc. All that is not the issue here. The only difference between the two Macs I can find is in the Port Scan output. The right seems to have port 80 open:

    Port Scanning host: 127.0.0.1

    Open TCP Port: 22 ssh
      Open TCP Port: 53 domain
      Open TCP Port: 80 http
      Open TCP Port: 88 kerberos
      Open TCP Port: 445 microsoft-ds
      Open TCP Port: 548 afpovertcp
      Open TCP Port: 631 ipp

    СКАНИРОВАНИЕ ПОРТОВ ЗАВЕРШЕНО...

    While it is not bad:

    Port Scanning host: 127.0.0.1

    Open TCP Port: 88 kerberos
      Open TCP Port: 445 microsoft-ds
      Open TCP Port: 548 afpovertcp
      Open TCP Port: 631 ipp
    Сканирование портов завершено…

Could someone explain why port 80 is not on this machine and how do I enable it?

    All the best,

    Tench

To make sure that port 80 is open for TCP on all interfaces, I added

pass in proto tcp from any to any port 80

à /etc.pf.conf . Reloading of pfctl(8) didn't quite do the trick, but did a reboot. Now, the port appears as open in the port scan, and my virtual hosts are served as it should.
