What's my version of windows 7 genuine
A month ago, I bought the full version of DELL Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32-bit OEM (http://www.missionsofts.com/microsoft-windows-7-professional-full-version-32bit-oem/) and installed on my acer timeline 5810TZ-4657 overwrite the previous installation of Vista. Everything worked fine until today when I started getting the "Windows 7 Build 7601 this copy of windows is not genuine" message at the botton right of the screen. Is it possible that I messed up a few steps in the installation, or a DELL OEM copy would be always illegal on an ACER? I bought my computer desk HP with Windows 7 installed on it about 9 months ago. Now I constantly receive popups saying "my version of windows is not genuine, you may be victim of software fraud". It then asks me to click here to authenticate. I click on enter here, all the strings of the sticker on my desk and I check'm OK now. A few days later she again. What is going on? What has changed in 9 months?
Have you tried to restart by phone?
How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)
1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4
(2) press the ENTER"" key.
(3) select your "country" in the list.
(4) choose the option "activate phone".
(5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.
(6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

What makes windows not genuine OS?
I don't understand not what makes a non-genuine BONE. A pirated version of windows that is turned on and gets updates is genuine or not genuine? I have a friend who has a pirated version of windows 7 that is enabled and does not say that it is not authentic, and I want to know if he can get the upgrade to windows 10
Hello Alexcs165,
Since your friend is using Windows 7, you can read the Article on Validation: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-my/windows/help/genuine/what-is-validation (you can send the link to your friend also)
A pirated Version of Windows cannot receive Windows Update option (except security) updates. For more information, refer to this Article: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/genuine/faq
If you meant "Activated", is this a genuine product key purchased from Microsoft or is it generates by product key generator programs?Your friend can get the upgrade to Windows 10 any if it is authentic or inauthentic by installing all the Windows updates available and there will be a Windows icon on the lower right of the task bar. For more information on Windows 10 upgrade, refer to this Article: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-10-upgrade
Your friend can do a clean install using only an ISO of Windows 10 file, but it will not work with the Windows 7 product key. To ensure that it remains enabled, use the Suggestion in the 4th paragraph
If the Windows 7 there is pirated Version and not activated, he can always upgrade to Windows 10 but it will remain as a pirated Version. A pirated Version of Windows can be changed for an authentic product by buying a product key for the Version of Windows and then activate it via the PC settings.

What version of Windows I have?
What version of Windows I have? I can not also read the sticker because it is worn out and the laptop will not completely start or repair, recovery disks are lost. Part number is readable bbut paert looks like:
Can I use any dissk installation of re - install no matter what windows I had pre-installeed.
the laptop is a HP G61-110SA laptop
THX
Hello
You probably don't need to know what version of Windows, but the Panel of configuration/system will tell you if you are interested. There will probably be a sticker on the laptop (not the one that you can not read, under the cover near the mouse pad), which you said, but I guess you could have peeled off.
Look at this link for how to do a system reinstall...
In addition, if provided with the laptop or you recovery disks burn them for yourself these should also do the job.
Before do you a re-install back up your data you can restore it later. You will also need to re - install the software that was installed after purchase.

Windows Storage: what version of windows and updated to reflect later
Hello
I am very new to Windows storage space. I have a few questions:
1. what version of Windows is the best (only for storage purposes): 8.1 Windows Client, Windows Server R2 Windows Server 2012 Essentials 2012?
2. in the scenario that I have only 1 HDD now for this. My ultimate goal is to have a mirror put in place when I could buy another drive. Is it possible to go game now and add another disk to mirror later? Do I have to re - format the drive being installed with the new disk mirrored do? Any instructions somewhere?
Thank you
Bao.
This system, which is used for? Business with several users who connect or personal?
That would certainly answer your questions...
Personally, I still hope an array of material on all the rest. Just as software RAID could you create a mirror RAID with through previous editions of products 'professional or better' Windows - space storage is always based software. ;-)
With the help of Google:
https://www.Google.com/search?q=use+storage+spaces+to+create+mirrorProbably, that's what you're looking for (according to ISO how you asked, etc.):
http://www.howtogeek.com/109380/how-to-use-Windows-8s-storage-spaces-to-mirror-combine-drives/
... and...
http://helpdeskgeek.com/Windows-8/create-RAID-like-data-backup-using-storage-spaces-Windows-8/
Not to complicate things. It is really as easy as adding the physical drive and selecting the one-way glass, given what you have so far.
Of course - backups should always be verified (image of the system if possible) before doing anything. While you might lose data by READING this for various reasons - you increase the risk when you start to play with the data in real time. ;-)

Original title:
Windows 95/98
Hello
I currently have an Apple. There are a few games, I used to play (i.e. Rollercoaster Tycoon) which are mainly Windows 95/98.
I have considered buying a less expensive to play PC. What I have to buy windows 95/98 or y at - it a newer version which will still play older games?
I read a blog that says Windows 8 would not work with most, but perhaps Windows 7. I tried many different ways to play games on the Apple and in some cases, I can play them, but it will eventually stopped my computer during registration or something of that kind.
Any suggestions? Of course, a suggestion at low cost is nice instead of buying a new computer.
Good luck finding a windows 95 or 98.
You'll have to do some research on Google or in the game forums to see what o/s these games could work. But I wouldn't count on much of this old games.
